Best Electrical Installation in Virginia Beach VA

I have use Cecilia's Home Repairs twice. They came highly recommended by my daughter and she was right about the quality of the service they give. They have never over charge and most often they are less expensive than other services I have used. I will use their services again as I need them. They will be the first I call.

Highly recommend these guys!!!! I called to have my back patio door changed out and they were available immediately. The next day, they were there installing my new door. Even with the issues that occurred with the old and new door, they were fast and efficient. They were great to do business with and I will most definitely be calling for any future jobs that I need to get done.

Would use this company again. They provided excellent service and honest feedback about how to complete the project.

I rarely write reviews and never this in depth - so please read!We were in desperate need of getting our heater fixed - of course it went out the last cold weekend we had for the season! Our system is only 3 years old and still under manufacturer warranty. The technician showed up in a timely manner and was nice; told us that the problem was the ignitor. Charged us $400+ and signed us up for a recurring monthly membership. He replaced the ignitor with an after-market part, which turns out didn't fix the heater. Then he says the gas valve needs to be replaced, but it's under warranty and he doesn't have the part - so we're still without a working heater, and BTW we still have to pay for everything he did even though it was misdiagnosed. He also told us a lot of other things we were wrong with our system and we needed close to another $1000 of work done.We never received an itemized invoice of what was done and what we were changed for. We got a second opinion which told us nothing was wrong with the ignitor (nor the rest of the system), the gas valve did need to be replaced and is readily available to do so under warranty. We called American Mechanical back for an ITEMIZED invoice, to cancel the membership and to work out what needs to be done about the service done at our place - putting back the original part as to not void the warranty.They were not sympathetic, they brushed us off claiming doctors have different diagnoses too, etc. and will have a manager be in touch with us. It's over a week later and we do not have a reply. We have tried calling back almost daily without reply.To put a cherry on top, they charged our card ANOTHER monthly membership fee within the same week. I'm now approaching this via our credit card company because we can't get a response. Terrible to think you can't get decent customer service from a local business. Also, as a doctor myself, having different diagnoses doesn't work like that. If you completely misdiagnose something and treat it incorrectly, you are liable for malpractice.

We reached out to Colonial Home Services for a few projects at our house, such as installing new electric outlets and replacing a ceiling light with a fan. They came out to give us an estimate and afterwards set up another appointment to get the job done. They showed up on time, the price was exactly what they said it would be and they were all really professional and knowledgeable, plus friendly and tidy. They addressed all our concerns and even helped us figure out some issues with the light switches that didn't match the outlets. We'd definitely hire Colonial Home Services again. Super fast and affordable electrical service.

They didn’t reconnect the new water heater to the drainage pipe that was on the old water heater. They broke my pantry closet bifold door and didn’t tell me. When I noticed it after I left, the office crew refused to help me. I emailed the manager who said she’d look into it a few weeks ago and never got back to me.
