I have know Jack and his wife for years. Jack's work ethic is top notch. His people are polite, right to the point and do the job right the first time. He and his people do not overcharge. They come when they say they will come. The do not do things, just to charge you money. I have always and will always give Jack a GREAT recommendation and refer him to everyone I know. I have been doing it for years and will continue to do so. Thank Jack for a great job as usual.

I would highly recommend Plumbing Unlimited to anyone in the Hampton Roads area. They arrived at my house on time (actually early). My drains were completely backed up. Lamont was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. He explained and sent me videos of every step of his visit. He took the time to answer every question I had. Unfortunately my next steps will be to have my old sewer pipes replaced. However, Plumbing Unlimited is the only company I would call. The cost is reasonable and the customer service has been exceptional!

We reached out to Colonial Home Services for a few projects at our house, such as installing new electric outlets and replacing a ceiling light with a fan. They came out to give us an estimate and afterwards set up another appointment to get the job done. They showed up on time, the price was exactly what they said it would be and they were all really professional and knowledgeable, plus friendly and tidy. They addressed all our concerns and even helped us figure out some issues with the light switches that didn't match the outlets. We'd definitely hire Colonial Home Services again. I chose this businessman based on other reviews. I left a message and got a quick call back. Within an hour or so Rob was at my home. Rob communicated with me by phone about the problem and proceeded to fix an outdoor leaking pipe. I could not be happier with the quick response and informative communication. Bertolino will be my go to from plumbing from now on.

Recently we had a major leak under our house. Leaking sewage, horrible smells, it was just a mess. A-1 came out and diagnosed the problem and said it was the main line and it would cost 4 thousand to fix. They spent a full day with 2 workers fixing the issue. We thought the problem was fixed and everything was fine. A week later we had to have some duct work done and the HVAC guys said we still had a leak. I called A-1 again and they immediately sent someone out and they said the issue fell into a gray area of something that possibly could have been damaged when they did the major repair. I had this sinking feeling we were in for another huge bill BUT they completely covered the repair which would have been very costly. I found their honestly and great customer service very refreshing. Todd was amazing and very knowledgeable just like the first 2 plumbers were. Their employees are skilled, polite and hard working. I've been a home owner for a long time. And sometimes stuff happens. Upon moving into my (new to me) older home, we learned about some of the bad things that people do with their flushing standards. This bit us in the rear when the entire system got clogged. This clogging created a backflow of stuff you don't want to see, to come back up.. into the showers, bathtubs, yeah... it was messy.. and ugly.

I called around to find a plumber that would be willing to help me and at first I just left a message to call me back. Shortly after, Newman's quickly responded by returning my call. The lady was very friendly and responsive to my needs. She mentioned that they had availability sooner than other places AND they had an option for emergency service. The emergency service (after hours) was obviously going to cost more but honestly, I had literal fecal matter in all our tubs, etc. it was totally worth it to have someone come asap.

The gentleman who came over definitely knew his stuff. Dave had been doing it for a long time. He was very quick to isolate the issue and get everything resolved. He was very concise with what he was doing and the path to get things clear.

I'm very pleased with the service I got as I had a no BS - let's get you straight service and was able to get it when I wanted it (which was immediate). As much as I hope I never have to call, if I do... I know I'll call Newman's.
