Best Hard Water in Tampa FL

I decided to try to hire a plumber for my rentals. I found this one and thought I would support a local small business. The first job was in Tampa and the tech called me before doing the work to quote me a price. I thought it was fair, so I approved the work.
The second and LAST job was a broken toilet lever in Zephyrhills. The service charge was higher for the area, which I can accept. The tech called to say he was on the way. I asked him to call with a quote before doing the work. However, no call. Got the bill a couple of days later, $254. $79 for the service call, and $175 for the toilet lever and labor.
I am all for a business making a profit, but changing a toilet lever is the simplest plumbing job there is. I called and had a discussion with the owner. He was polite and offered me $30 off of the bill. I told him I was planning to give him all of my business, but it concerned me that a $10 part was marked up so much.
He explained that it cost him $100 per hour per man to break even. Being a business owner myself, I know better.
I was looking for a fair dependable local company to take care of 11 properties in the area. I am still looking. Don't waste your time or money on this company!

Richard is a very polite and courteous professional with over 20 years of experience. He checked the issues and started work on the appointment date. He arrived on time and began working immediately. The great thing about Richard is that he keeps you informed as he progresses and shows you what and how he is doing. The work was done in a timely manner and his rates were below what other plumbing businesses charge, which I know because I checked their prices. He checked and rechecked all the connections and lines. He is an true professional and we highly recommend that you give him a call for your plumbing needs as he is a hard worker and a fair man.

Best out of several quotes on water heater replacement. Very responsive at the beginning and got me scheduled for the very next day. Quick and professional installation.
