Broken sewer line on Christmas eve, 2 men came out to access the situation and had it replaced shortly after the permits cleared, was impressed how my property was cleared and cleaned shortly after completing the sewer, very much appreciated for the Men at Ogradys, particularly at that time of the year.

$325 to replace a max $20 fill valve on a toilet that took one hour of work is just crazy. Full Stop.
Why didn't I push back on the invoice at the moment I was asked to give my credit card you ask? I didn't want to make a scene in front of my invalid mother and her caretaker. To the latter, $325 would be 16 HOURS+ of my caregiver's wages if she needed to address the same issue. No wonder folks are fleeing SF to more affordable places.
Do better 24-7 Rooter & Plumbing and don't gouge your customers.

Our gutter downspouts & the drainfields for each were very clogged with years of tree needles etc. We tried diligently to clean & hose them out ,usually in a rain storm with water running on our patios & decks. Plumbers really had no options & then we called Roto- Rooter. Farid arrived timly, explained the process & his specialized equipment , took downspouts off ,cleaned them, jet sprayed the drainfields ,put all back together & fully cleaned up the mess. I recommend Farid & this service with my highest recommendation & we are already advising friends & real estate agents that we work with, of the service, as I'm sure it is a common problem in the northwest. Farid was courteous , polite, prompt & professional. Finally, the costs for the job were very reasonable given the result of solving the hassle of dealing with the issue. Lucky I stumbled upon Nick and got his card! We're in the middle of a lot of different work (toilet, sink, shower and sewer) and I have been really impressed with his professionalism, diligence and efforts to troubleshoot the list of repairs in a sensible manner.
