Best Basic Repairs in San Antonio TX

Chambliss was recommended by multiple family members in San Antonio. We hired them to install a new PRV due to a humming sound in our wall.I really like to understand what's going on when I hire somebody to do service work. They let me watch and ask questions throughout the whole job. I learned a lot, and the new PRV solved our issue.They did great work and they really know their stuff. We'll be using them for our plumbing needs in the future!

They came out and did a recall repair on my water heater. I was unable to be at the residence but my wife made it home and they supposedly did the repair, yesterday when I checked the repair that was made from the recall the control panel about fell off the front of my water heater which was mounted firmly with screws and wired were visable from the side of the control panel. Spoke to the company and asked why were they worried about me meeting the san antonio code and not worried about the poor work their 19yr old technician did. I recieved an attitude and also told that me or my wife would need to take more time off rather than being able to to accomadate since we already took time off. All they give you is a big attitude and a long sales pitch about things that aren't needed. GO ELSE WHERE AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY BECAUSE THEY ARE A JOKE AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!! HOW THEY GOT LICENSING TO BEGING WITH IS BEYOND ME! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BOOT!!!!!!

My husband and I are first time homeowners and clueless when it comes to basic home repairs/upkeep. Our water was shut off for a day before we moved in, and since it was turned back on one of the toilet tanks wouldn't refill after flushing. Worried about creating a bigger issue if we tried to resolve it ourselves, we contacted PlumbSmart. They were professional, prompt, courteous, and efficient. Roger came out to help, and immediately detected the problem...a very simple fix of turning a valve. Better yet, he didn't make me feel dumb and refused to charge anything. Will definitely go back to them for future plumbing needs.
