Best Water Softening System in Saint Petersburg FL

This is the 2nd time using R.Rooter and they did not let us down with the excellent service. Mike, the tech who answered the call was very professional, honest with the diagnosis and did his best to keep things clean even after he got the job done. There wasn't much room to get it done but still made it happen without issue. Normally I try to get it done myself but when I cannot with work etc I have to admit that I call these professional plumbers. Much appreciated!!

This service involved the installation of a Fleck one piece water softener installed in January 2018. Last month (September 2022) I called them because the unit was not performing. When I purchased the unit, I was told that the warranty was 5 years. There was no mention about the type of salt that was needed. When the technician came out last month, he immediately told me that the reason the unit wasn't working was because I had used the wrong salt and there was no warranty. Someone from the company told me via phone that there was only a 1 year warranty on the unit.....When I purchased the unit, I asked if there was any documentation and McGill told me to print it out from the website, which I did. This documentation states a 5 year warranty on the control value and mentions nothing about the type of salt OR that the use of pellets will void the warranty. So I am saying....please be aware when purchasing a water softener from them. I feel that I was they totally misrepresented this product to me.

After receiving a call from one of the corporate officers , I discussed what had happened to me. He was so apologetic. As a result, the company provided me with a totally acceptable solution. Per my discussions, this situation could have been avoided had upper management been involved from the start. I definitely will give McGill another try if I have need for their services.

These guys, particularly Anthony are terrific. They are always on time, very personable and perform excellent work. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had a leaking outside faucet bib. They came once to provide an estimate. When I went with them, they scheduled the Monday after the weekend. They arrived on-time and did the work quickly and it looked good. They kept me informed and I’m happy with the result.

Diana was excellent for her customer service and communication. We had a water heater in bad shape, and she moved things around to get me scheduled in a few hours - same day service! John was courteous and professional, and got things done in a timely manner. They were referred to us from somebody who just had used them recently - and gave them high marks, as well.

Scott was great. Knowledgeable, personable, and efficient.
