Best Light Fixture Repair in Saint Petersburg FL
Fast reliable service. Update: Kalieb came out to do the repair. Even though the weather was not cooperating he was able to get a break in the weather and get our ac running. Great job going the extra mile, much appreciated!

Chris came out, very personable, and very professional. While we weren’t in dire straits, we did want to upgrade and have a new unit going into retirement. He handled everything perfectly. I chose the company because of their high reviews on home advisor. Here’s the other thing, in this day and age where customer service is absent or lacking, it’s refreshing when a company actually wants your business. Could I’ve gotten it cheaper? Maybe, as I do ha e contacts and friends in the business, but those friends, they lack the let’s get it done motivation. Chris assures me in two days it would be done. That’s what I wanted, for it to be done. Ask for Chris. He will take care of you.

I called Midway on Monday morning because my tankless water heater had quit working. They led me to believe they would be sending out a repairman (with possible replacement unit on truck) that afternoon.Instead, they sent a salesman (Bill B) who tried to sell me new water valves, a water softener system, and (eventually) a new tankless water heater. I had to insist that he give me a repair price, so he gave me a repair price that was nearly as much as the replacement price for the least expensive model. The price for the unit was quoted at 105/month for 60 months. I asked how much it was, not how much the payments were, and he said $3795 (inclusive) but that the monthly rate was interest free. I had to point out that $105 * 60 = $6300 and didn't sound interest-free to me. He insisted it was interest free. (Later he said perhaps he meant 36 months)I wanted to get reviews online for the model he suggested, and he kept avoiding the question of the model.tt's a StiebelWhich oneA Steibel-BAll of these online have numbers -- which one?We just call it a BI need the number (Eventually the number turned out to be twelve, and I had to insist he put the model # on the written estimate. There is a reason they were reluctant. I am installing the same model for $1275 with another provider, saving more than $2500.00. (FAST of FL).To top it off, he called the next day and asked which option I was taking. I told him I was going with another company and he very snarkily said well thanks for calling then. I also paid a $39.00 service call for this privilege.

Nick was very professional and efficient. We had a water heater emergency and his response was excellent.

I recently spent more than $5000, on home remodel:
Home Depot ordered the wrong garage door, the installer made some excuse that they would replace it with the right garage door ordered, 3 month later nothing was done
plus the installers stole item out of the garage. Nothing was supervised ...

Another reviewer had the same bad experience as we did. Florida Gas and Plumbing jacked me around for over a month promising to follow-up.
Company was referred by Clearwater Gas to relocate some ventilation and gas connections to connect a new range. Estimator Rick came to the house, reviewed the job in detail and we had a game plan for the work. I had emphasized that we were more interested in getting job done right than right away and that we would coordinate in any way to schedule work when appropriate workers were available.
Rick promised to forward an estimate and that I could expect a call from their scheduler in a day or two. Several days passed, and I contacted their scheduler to follow-up. She told me that Rick had gotten busy and didn't put the estimate together yet. She would contact him and have something for me soon.
A week went by and I contacted them again. Same response; Rick is buried and we'll forward something soon. All I was looking for was an estimate and scope of work. When Rick was at our home, there were no unanswered questions or issues. He had even given me a 'ballpark' to expect but promised to provide an estimate.
This repeated several times over the next few weeks to the point that I asked the scheduler if there was some problem. She claimed it was just a busy period and Rick would have something.
Today, I called and asked the scheduler if I could speak to Rick in order to understand what was taking so long. She assured me that he was on the phone in the same office and would call me back as soon as he completed his call. That was several hours ago.
This entire episode has now lasted a month. And there is no explanation regarding why I can't get my relatively modest job done by the provider recommended by Clearwater Gas.
To add insult to injury, the company replied to this review below and affirmed everything except the dozen or so phone calls that were answered by their scheduler and un-responded to by the estimator as promised repeatedly. Then the company lies and says that the estimate was ready and the job scheduled. Simply not true.
Unless you have an appetite for delay and mis-representation, I would avoid Florida Gas and Plumbing Inc.
