After using rauscher over the past year for various services and spending thousands of dollars my dad and I are unhappy with our experience dealing with this company. During our first visit they sent a plumber with an obvious body odor problem. For what they are charging personal hygiene should be a given and it was so strong it took me over 30min to air our home out. When I mentioned this to Dave he didn’t seem receptive to that feedback and from that point on has been cold in our interactions. Second, they bill you by the minute including the time it takes for them to total up the bill and the time it takes to fill out the check. If they did excellent work this wouldn’t be a big issue but during our latest service call the plumber we had missed a leak with our sink pipes while installing a new garbage disposal. He forgot the new toilet seat and had to waste time calling the office to send out a replacement. He also left a dirty bucket filled with dirty water in our home for us to deal with. Be advised if you choose a toilet or any fixtures from Ferguson and use Rauscher to install Rauscher significantly marks up the cost. Also be advised that their hourly rate increases every May which they don’t disclose on their website or during scheduling calls. Dave has been unpleasant to deal with, his arrogance and scheduling mistake caused a delay in our service and stress. Instead of being apologetic and offering a discount due to his mistake he acted cold and indifferent and like it was our problem for not wanting to use the plumber he sent instead of the one we had requested. The last guy they sent out to seal the sink pipe didn’t fix the leak. Whatever paste he used to seal it is easily wiped off, he didn't do the bottom rim just the top leaving water dripping through onto the area below the sink. He never recommended replacing that pipe piece or communicated options to us before he left. We will never use them again and they didn’t fix the the sink drip they most likely created during the garbage disposal install. Our A/C stopped working so we contacted McQuillan Bros to come take a look. First the positives: they came out the same day and their trip charge was lower than most others, even on a Saturday. Now the negatives: our technician, Zong Vang, told us there were more problems than there actually was. Our fan motor inside the furnace failed, which caused the A/C to not work. He incorrectly also diagnosed a leak in the A/C's refrigerant, causing it to be low - he noticed an outside pipe to the A/C freezing up quickly, so he said he didn't even need to test the amount of refrigerant.......hmmm. He also said the A/C's 'contactor' was testing poorly and that it would probably fail soon, causing the A/C to fail once again - he never showed me the results of his test. His repair bill was so high that he even recommended that we consider having a McQuillan 'comfort specialist' come here to help us consider purchasing a brand new unit. He promised us on that Saturday that he would return on Monday to make the repairs if we decided to go forward with it, because it was such a big ticket item for the company. Well, Monday came and almost went. We called the office first thing Monday morning, with additional calls throughout the day, and requested that Mr. Vang call us back, but that call didn't come until nearly 3:00 pm and he said he wouldn't be able to make it that day. His manager overrode that and said he would still get him out here that day, which we appreciated, but we had become increasingly frustrated with him going back on his word so we reached out to a smaller, local HVAC business. That individual came out that same afternoon and handled the problem the correct and honest way. He didn't even look at the A/C unit until he had the blower motor in the furnace repaired with a new part. Then he went outside and looked at the A/C and told me that the A/C will only work and test accurately once the furnace blower motor was working properly. It was not low on refrigerant - the pipe did not freeze up this time because the blower motor was working. The contactor tested normal and did not need replacing - he showed me the results of the test, something McQuillan Bros did not do. In the end, McQuillan Bros would have charged us almost double for repairs and wanted us to consider buying new. The other guy said that our units are in great shape and should last for some time to come. We will not be doing business with McQuillan Bros in the future.

I have been a customer for a few years now. I'm apart of the monthly Comfort Care plan. Just recently had Richard take care of a leaking sink. I believe they have fair prices and have not over sold me on services. I recommend trying them. Thank you Richard for you expertise!

Nick did a great job replacing my cracked toilet. He was very professional and courteous and left the worksite cleaner than he found it. Would totally recommend!

Our experience with Ryan this past Sunday was fantastic. First, he answered the phone when I called at approximately 11:15 PM the night before to inquire about an AC repair once we realized that it had broken. Then, he arrived promptly at 11:00 AM the following morning (having given us an arrival time window of 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) and began assessing the problem. He worked diligently until our AC was fixed, finishing up within approximately one hour. It has worked great ever since! While no-one wants to face the hassle or expense of an unexpected appliance repair I would absolutely recommend Krinkie's to anyone with Heating or AC needs. They've been great!

Apollo came out on a Monday to look at our heat and they basically saved our lives. There was a hole in the furnace spewing carbon monoxide in the house so once they inspected it, the gas and electricity to the unit was IMMEDIATELY shut off. Not even 2 hours later, Pete came out to measure and he was so wonderful and friendly! They got us a new furnace and everything taken care of the NEXT day! The installers were really friendly and worked diligently to get it taken care of. Thank you so much for all your hard work! We would recommend you to anyone!

Highly recommend Gray Duck Plumbing! When setting up my appointment they were punctual and organized. When Dan came in to fix my tub spout he explained what he was doing, why, what my options were for repairs, and was very professional, honest, and kind. As a new homeowner it was incredibly informative and helpful! And the fact that it's local, female, and queer owned is a huge huge bonus! One of my cats was also completely smitten with Dan, so that's a good sign.

Had Soderlin come out to evaluate my mini-split. The tech was extremely thoughtful in the evaluating the situation and just charged the service evaluation fee with some advice to do a simple fix. Really appreciated that he didn’t gouge me with what turned out to be a simple filter issue. 👍

I called Janecky from a referral through a friend of mine. They took my call, responded to my needs quickly, scheduled an installation same day, dealt with removing my water softener, water meter and other things to get them out of the way in my compact utility room so that they could remove my 13 year old water heater which was behind all of that, then installed the new water heater. They reinstalled all of equipment back to spec and restored our hot water without any leaks all for the exact price quoted to me by phone.

I recently called to have 3 running toilets fixed! Josh, the plumber assigned to my case called before he came and gave me an ETA! What struck me, is how energetic and polite he was on the phone! So awesome to hear! He showed up when he said was going to, was sincerely polite in person as he was on the phone, and fixed all 3 running toilets! This was the first time I’ve used Bruce Nelson Plumbing Danny was prompt, courteous and kind he worked very efficiently and was very pleasant to be around he replaced a 55 year old shower mixer in about an hour would highly recommend this company again

Forced into using their services pretty much, multiple different quotes none of which were accurate and then dropped a massive bill on me because I had to use a commercial service for my residential low income housing I was living in. I wouldn't recommend from my personal experience.
