Expensive!!! First the good: I really appreciated the prompt response and professionalism of the master plumber who came to my home to repair a busted pipe. I'd highly recommend him as a person and the work he did.Now my objection: He said the work was complicated and gave me a bid for replacing the broken pipe at $1200. I accepted the bid since I would have no water in the house until it was fixed and it was already the afternoon. In the end, it took him an hour and 15 minutes to do the job. I was shocked that the cost could be so high for a little more than an hour's work. He said the cost of the job is standard pricing and is not set on the amount of time it took. It would have cost the same if it took him 4 hours instead of 1. He said that any job that involves copper stars at $800. Wow. I wish that I'd been willing to go a night without water and call someone else to do the job. To be clear, I really liked the plumber. Great guy. But I think Roto-rooter's prices are too high if their master plumbers are bringing in $1000/hour.

A supply line to our bathtub burst one evening leaving us with water coming through our dinning room ceiling. I tried calling several big name plumbing companies that said they had 24/7 emergency services. After minutes of talking with a call center rep I found out that nobody was available. I called Pedro with Do It Right Plumbing and he answered after a couple rings. He came out 15 minutes later. He found the problem, was able to explain it to us, and capped the water supply lines that night so we could turn the water back on to the rest of the house. The next day he came and fixed the problem. We feel good that we have a plumber to call for future issues. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Thanks Pedro!

Fixed a leak caused by the tub in quick order and for a reasonable price. Called them on Sunday and they were there 9am Monday morning getting to work.

We won't call anyone else!! Dave and his sons are fabulous -- they do great work for a fair price and are super pleasant to work with -- no matter your plumbing need -- project or problem .... big or small!

We have a private well and septic and they were able to work on it, which, if you don’t know, not all plumbers will work on wells and septic. Alan was very friendly and professional. They were super quick getting the job done and showing up on time. They also gave me a military discount which was greatly appreciate it. Overall just a really good experience and no more clogged drain so I feel like it was a win!

Highly recommend this company. They took my call after hours, arrived quickly, and got the back up with my main line diagnosed and fixed quickly. Ran a camera through after the job to be extra thorough and confirm that the lines were clear. Happy they did this because we found a nasty old mouse on camera stuck at a Y in the drain 25 feet in. Took care of that too. Robert was the technician and he was awesome — prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. Reasonable pricing even for after hours rates. No need calling anywhere else for plumbing jobs.

Mike H and Josiah M did a fantastic job fixing a 100 year old leaking and broken main toilet pipe in our family’s very old house. It took creativity and experience to tackle this project in a way that was both fixed the right way up to code, and yet still cost effective! They did a superb job with their communications all along the way, performed high quality installation, and cleaned up nicely. They were respectful and pleasant to work with. All of the other team members at Mr. Rooter were also great at communicating and keeping us informed along the way. Great team, great company! I will be using Mr. Rooter again for my next project!

Called on a Tuesday afternoon and was told they could send a service person the next a.m. Per plan, he called when he was on his way and arrived right on schedule. Asked questions and checked general plumbing and got right to work. Also not bothered by fact that my crabby old dog approached him and growled a bit.

TJK Plumbing replaced my kitchen faucet. The technician was cordial, prompt and talented. He helped me problem solve issues from the original faucet being improperly installed. I am very happy with my new faucet. I will definitely call them again.

My experience with John was outstanding, he came on time and jumped right onto the problem. Throughout the job he was very informative and gave us a good laugh, while giving us a chance to oversee his work. Dave has done plumbing work at my house a couple of times over the last few years. Most recently, he installed a bathroom sink faucet and drain for a newly replaced vanity. The plumbing was a little challenging, as the new sink was offset from the drain pipe. Dave was great about communicating prior to the appointment so he was clear on what needed to be done. He came up with a good solution that was much less invasive and expensive than what another plumber had suggested/quoted to me. He walked me though what he was doing and answered any questions I had. Dave does quality work and provides a great plumbing service experience.

We have used discount plumbing and drain cleaning on more than one occasion. The last visit was for a main drain clean out. Our drain was completely plugged. Could not use sinks, toilets or any water or it would come right back out of the floor drain. I called and they came out in two hours. The technician was friendly. Wore shoe covers and even put covers on the tires of the drain snake machine to protect my carpet. He explained what he was going to do and even showed me the tree roots he removed that were causing my issue. The area that he worked in was clean after he was done and my water is flowing freely. I would highly recommend this company. Lastly I called around just to check, and they were also the best price. A win all around.

Phil and Howie were great to work with. Very professional and identified the problem right away. Significantly less expensive than I was expecting. Their plumbing expertise was invaluable in identifying problems from frozen pipes over the winter. Will definitely call on St Paul Pipeworks for future plumbing needs.
