Best Main Water Supply in Saint Paul MN
We had a back-up of our water main and part of our basement flooded. We called Roto-Rooter around 4:30pm and they had one of their technicians, Brian, there within 45 minutes. Brian was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the issue. He brought in all of this equipment and cleared out the pipes within just a few hours. They also immediately sent one of their restoration specialists, Garrison. He used a device to check what areas of the floor would need to be replaced and he explained the results to us. He was very friendly and reassuring while we discussed how to proceed with restoring the damage.Additionally, they send another employee shortly after (within one day) to run a camera through the pipes to double check there aren’t any further occlusions.Overall, this company is very efficient and they employ kind and knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter, and Brian and Garrison in particular, if you ever have plumbing needs! Don’t hesitate to give them a call.

After 3 days of trying every possible non-professional tactic to clear our kitchen sinks, I gave up. I called RR early afternoon on a Friday, a technician(Andrew) was out in an hour. He was very kind and pleasant and explained well what needed to be done. Our fully clogged pipe (somewhere in the depths of the walls) was cleared while I sat outside taking a phone call. I really can’t speak to the value compared with others since I was in a pinch, but I am thrilled to have things flowing again. Thanks, Andrew at RR.

My experience with John was outstanding, he came on time and jumped right onto the problem. Throughout the job he was very informative and gave us a good laugh, while giving us a chance to oversee his work. If we ever have a problem again, I would request him to come back out with no hesitation Thanks John!

I called late on a Sunday evening because one of our bathroom sink valves inexplicably broke and was spraying water all over the bathroom. I expected them to charge an arm and a leg for an emergency visit but Ken calmly talked me through a quick fix that would hold us over until Monday morning when a technician could come during regular hours. Our tech, Corey, came over right away on Monday morning and fixed the issue. Ken saved us hundreds by talking me through a fix instead of sending someone and Corey was awesome and fixed the pipe within 30 minutes. I was blown away by how quickly they were able to respond and help. I highly recommend!!!

The responsiveness of Alto on a Saturday when we had tree roots in our main sewer line was amazing. Rick was at our house in less than an hour and had the problem solved within a couple of hours. I have their card on my fridge for future issues.

I had a plugged kitchen sink. They arrived on time and even before they did any work they told me the total cost would be $450. They removed the drain trap under the sink and then ran a snake through the pipe. It took a total of 10 minutes to do this. They unclogged the line but I thought $450 for 10 minutes of work was a bit ridiculous. I will never use them again or recommend them because of their inflated price. When I initially called and asked how much it would cost, I was told the trip charge was $59 and then there would be additional cost depending on what work needed to be done. It would have been nice to know upfront that for a simple drain clog the minimum price would be $450. I have never spent this much money before to unclog a drain. With previous people, I was billed after the work is complete because it depended how much time was spent on the project and what was involved.
