Luke (3657) from Roto-Rooter came out on a Saturday to clean out my drain. He was very professional and set my mind at ease almost immediately. There were a few problems getting to where Luke needed to work but he got right passed them like they were nothing. I highly recommend this service and I highly recommend Luke.

Wants $700NTE to do his recommended work without approval from the payee. $110 non refundable service call for 30mins diagnostic. Will not discuss simple upfront pricing with possible vendor. Be careful for this scam artist.

We needed to get a new boiler and had multiple places come out to do a bid. Not only was Metro the best value, but they were so easy to work with. Andrew S and Josh A were our two technicians, and they did a fantastic job. Then, once they finished, Andrew didn't laugh at us (at least not to our faces) when we had him give us a step by step guide on how to do everything with our new boiler. (We took copious notes and, again, he didn't laugh.) Our new boiler takes up SO much less space, is energy efficient, and we're so pleased with our experience with Metro Heating and Cooling.

Dan's is great. Very Knowledgeable and easy to work with. They make scheduling and payment easy with their website. I defiantly recommend giving them a shot.

Highly recommend this company. They took my call after hours, arrived quickly, and got the back up with my main line diagnosed and fixed quickly. Ran a camera through after the job to be extra thorough and confirm that the lines were clear. Happy they did this because we found a nasty old mouse on camera stuck at a Y in the drain 25 feet in. Took care of that too. Robert was the technician and he was awesome — prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. Reasonable pricing even for after hours rates. No need calling anywhere else for plumbing jobs.

I had a birthday party scheduled in the afternoon and woke up to a water pipe burst right in the morning ..very inconvenient. The lady who took my call was very accommodating and understanding and was able to help me get someone out here asap . Mr. Stephen was great 👍🏼 very helpful . I looked at three other companies and somehow landed on Jake the Plumber website. I'm glad I did because everyone was friendly and they asked the right questions before coming to our home in Woodbury. Stu was very fun and informative! Pricing seemed fair, still expensive though. We will definitely use this company again!!

Craig did a great job: thorough, knowledgable and amiable to boot -- in a situation that required a bit of finesse due to the age of the installation. He even befriended our anxious rescue dog. Highly recommended.

I called late on a Sunday evening because one of our bathroom sink valves inexplicably broke and was spraying water all over the bathroom. I expected them to charge an arm and a leg for an emergency visit but Ken calmly talked me through a quick fix that would hold us over until Monday morning when a technician could come during regular hours. Our tech, Corey, came over right away on Monday morning and fixed the issue. Ken saved us hundreds by talking me through a fix instead of sending someone and Corey was awesome and fixed the pipe within 30 minutes. I was blown away by how quickly they were able to respond and help. I highly recommend!!!

My tub handle broke off at the valve and the tub could not be turned off, this meant it was time to turn off the main water line :( well, that did not fully work and water was still running. then, the darn handle broke completely off my main water line meaning no way to turn my water on or off and water stuck on.

We called and Roman was literally at the house in like 30 minutes. Sadly, we had to have the city shut off water and a few extra unexpected repairs. However, we will come out ahead and have a better setup from here on out so that is a huge win.

Roman is very professional, upfront, and honest about the prices discussed. Everything showed us along the way what was going on we could make an informed decision. Super easy-going and straight forward with communication and options. He will be coming back next week to help us with the rest of the repair. We are so grateful that the water is no longer ready. My plumber Chris Larson was great! He came out quickly after my kitchen sink drain backed up and was able to resolve the issue within a few hours. He was very professional and very easy to work with. I would definitely use him again (but I hope I won't have to!).

He responded to my request immediately and our issues were completely taken care of within a day. He was flexible with his scheduling and made it easy for us. Work was done quickly and effectively, and his demeanor was professional throughout the process.

Dishonest service. Inflated prices. Hidden fees.

Alto was referred to me by another customer. So I set up appointment, I'm gonna cut to the chase. I was charged $250 for the first 90 mins and $175 per hour after, and I was told it would be $2 per additional foot to run the snake beyond 100 feet. He ran the snake an additional 50 feet. I paid almost $800. I had to call another company out to actually clear out the wipes stuck in the drain. They charged $198 and actually unclogged the drain.
I spoke with the person that referred me to Alto, whose opinion I trust because he is knowledgeable, I explained to him what Rick did and what he charged me...he couldn't believe it and was not happy as that's not what Alto even charges for multi dwelling plumbing issues.
I'm told they get commission..I guess being a woman that doesn't know much about plumbing, Rick decided I would be his target that day.
The person that referred me is going to try and help me recoup some of the money back, he felt really bad, and has not had this type of experience(work or price) with Alto before, and knows who Rick is.
All it takes is 1 person/employee to give a business a bad reputation.
Due to the experience I had with Alto, I will not recommend this company, and I advised the person that referred me(even though he meant well) not to refer them.

He installed a hot water heater, left a mess and a water leak. I called and talked to him, he is very friendly but never followed up or offered to fix any issues. I would look elsewhere!

After going a week with backed up sewer in basement I called General Rooter. They did a complete fix on biggest problem and in one day I had water and no backup in basement. This company is very professional, and honest. I was updated on every step they did to fix problems. It was wonderful that Jason and team helped me. I highly recommend this Company!!!
