Showed up an hour and a half late to move a gas line for my stove. Told them when I set up the appointment that the line ran through a crawl space, they said it was no problem. Guy tells me without even looking in the crawl space that I should just leave it because of where it's coming in and let the cabinet makers build around the line. I told him my reasons why I (and my cabinet contractor) want it moved and after repeating myself several times he takes a look in the crawl space. He says he can do it but it will have to be another day because it will take longer than expected. He thinks about 3 hours. Tells me it for sure won't go over $720, might be less. I asked for that in writing and he says sure I'll ask the office to send you an email when I get back. Give him my credit card number for an hour and half of work.

As I'm waiting for the call back from the office I realize that now I'm going to have to pay for driving time twice and that today I am paying basically $300 for nothing more than a quote. The office agrees to charge me only for 30 minutes today as to take care of paying multiple times for driving but will not put the $720 quote in writing. While acknowledging that the communication was unclear she would not budge, then said she wouldn't charge me today and that they would not be able to do the work for me.

I don't want to pay $190 an hour for a service that includes mansplaining. I also don't want to be given a quote and told that it guaranteed won't go over $720 by the person doing the work only to be told an hour later by the office that it's not possible. I appreciate that they didn't charge me for today, but am discouraged by how quickly they were willing to drop a customer in need as soon as clear communication was expected. Proceed with caution if you go with this company.

Clint at Roto-Rooter was VERY helpful, knowledgeable, through, detailed, kind, friendly and thoughtful. We wanted to install a new bathtub and shower in our bathroom. When we were in the demo process we learned our new shower fixture needed to be installed to copper pipes. We did not have the necessary tools to handle this. We called Roto-Rooter at midnight on Thursday to help get our only bathroom working again. It is our only shower and bathtub in our house. So this was urgent and needed to be handled.Clint a tech with Roto-Rooter showed up at 9am on Friday to install our new shower equipment to our copper pipes. Then he helped fix a leak from our shutoff valve for our toilet along with sharing insight about our new faucet to be installed. He set it up so I could install it and explained what I needed to do to make sure it had a perfect installation when we were ready to install it. Then when we were installing our bathtub learned the piping was not center so we called RotoRooter again and they came out to center the piping below the subfloor and the copper pipes on the wall. He showed me how to set my new toilet too!! Wow the care and customer service was beyond my expectations. Clint went above and beyond. I will call RotoRooter for all my plumbing needs. Thank you Clint at Roto-Rooter for helping me on my path to finishing my bathroom.

We have a private well and septic and they were able to work on it, which, if you don’t know, not all plumbers will work on wells and septic. Alan was very friendly and professional. They were super quick getting the job done and showing up on time. They also gave me a military discount which was greatly appreciate it. Overall just a really good experience and no more clogged drain so I feel like it was a win!

Bill is totally professional. He moved my service to the beginning of the day when he learned I had a noonish appointment. I asked a lot of questions and Bill explained everything in a way I could understand. He was courteous and pleasant.

John is a true professional with a friendly, easygoing attitude and he is highly skilled at explaining what is going on every step of the way. He came out within a half an hour on a Saturday to assist us with a main line clog. He quickly assessed and resolved the issue and gave us good advice about what to look out for in the future. I called late on a Sunday evening because one of our bathroom sink valves inexplicably broke and was spraying water all over the bathroom. I expected them to charge an arm and a leg for an emergency visit but Ken calmly talked me through a quick fix that would hold us over until Monday morning when a technician could come during regular hours. Our tech, Corey, came over right away on Monday morning and fixed the issue. Ken saved us hundreds by talking me through a fix instead of sending someone and Corey was awesome and fixed the pipe within 30 minutes. I was blown away by how quickly they were able to respond and help. I highly recommend!!!

Rescue Sewer and Drain did a fantastic job. They are reasonably priced and I highly recommend them! Ramon installed a new bathroom faucet. He was responsive, knowledgeable, friendly and left no mess behind.

I am rating this company based on my experience with them, though I want to note I did not get any actual service from them. I called about a plumbing issue and the owner of the company called me back minutes later and said it wasn't something they serviced, but that he would refer me to someone who could. It was top tier customer service and I think speaks volumes about the kind of company they likely are, and wanted to share the good experience.

Hate hiring plumbers because they charge almost as much as a blood sucking attorney, but I didn't feel violated when this plumber billed me and finished the straight forward installation that would have taken me 10 times as long to do myself. So I would recomend them and call the company again if I had an issue.

Waited two weeks for an estimator to come out only to get a voicemail one hour before the appointment saying that the company doesn’t work in multi family buildings. I came to St. Paul Pipeworks because they were recommended by a smaller plumber who only does single family, which I explained. Very unprofessional and disappointing service.

*Update for clarity: there is no special equipment required, the job is a PVC drain pipe replacement.
