Matt and his crew did a great job replacing my 90-year-old cast iron main stack. They needed to get under the basement floor and did it quickly and smoothly. They also solved another issue I had with a master bath that had been added about 30 years ago and improperly plumbed. Matt and his crew worked to incorporate that master bath plumbing with my main stack plumbing in a seamless fashion that has my home in great shape for the next 90 years. Thanks Matt!

I recently was having rain water come up through the basement floor. The carpet was so soggy and this was not the first time it had happened. This time, the carpet was so saturated, I knew I could not salvage it. The water was located in 2 of the bedrooms and was it was getting worse. I was desperate to not have the water get to the family room carpet. I called Midwest Flood Restoration late Friday night. I was so thankful that Mike called me back later Friday night and said he would be here first thing on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning he arrived at 7:45 am!! He looked at the situation and we decided the best thing would be to get the 2 bedroom carpets removed. Much to my surprise he said he could have a crew here by 11:00 am. The crew was here at 11:00 am and pulled the carpet, moved furniture and hauled all the wet carpet out in bags, NO MESS! I was very, very thankful. Mike and his crew were so very kind, helpful, timely and professional! It is certainly a pleasure doing business with a company that has these timely and high work ethics! Thank you Mike and thank you to your crew.

Our sewer drain in our basement backed up over the weekend. We ended up having three different technicians from roto-rooter come to our home over three days. All three were nice and professional. My frustration is a result of what happened after the technicians left. My sewer line was collapsed and needed replaced. My county offers a replacement program that requires a video and application. I asked the technician to leave both with me and I would submit to the county. He insisted that he should take them, and that would be the fastest way to get everything submitted. He left me his card to call him if I had problems. I called the county later that day to see if it had been submitted. They showed nothing on their end, so I called the technician (keep in mind, we had absolutely no sewer line function in our home - no toilets, no showers, no laundry, no dishwashing). The technician told me it had been submitted and the county was probably just behind. I called the county again the second day, and they told me still nothing had been submitted. Again I called the technician and he promised me it had been sent. I asked for a confirmation email and he told me they don't send those out..... on the third day, when I called the county, and they said they still didn't have it, the county offered to call roto-rooter on my behalf. Roto-rooter told the county they had not sent it yet, but would send it ASAP.... ROTO-ROOTER HAD LIED TO ME. I had no sewer in my home, and they took their sweet time to send it in. All of this could have been avoided if they left the application with me, but don't make it worse by telling me it has been submitted.

We had a very pleasant experience with Roto Rooter. Your company has a very dedicated and respectful employee. Ken was great at his job and deserves a raise!

This company charges exorbitant prices. They quote $99 on the phone, then once they’re in the door & have you over a barrel knowing you’re sitting there with a backed up sewer & can’t use the water, toilet, etc., they start tacking extra charges and a charge to use the camera, too. $$650 later & you’re stuck with them & their prices. No mask or gloves & dirty boots from their last job. He said he didn’t care about germs all the while spreading germs/bacteria all over. Then he said he could only break through a little & would need to come back & charge another $750. Do yourself a favor and call another company that has a conscience & uses safety precautions.
