Quick response for water mitigation after my sump pump failed and the basement flooded

I recently called to get quote and set up an appointment for someone to replace two leaking valves. After speaking with Shelly, she was able to instruct me over the phone how to inspect and fix both valves. In doing so she saved me the time and money, where other businesses did not. I will definitely call them for any future plumbing needs. 10/10

I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Roto-Rooter. They were able to get a technician here much sooner than expected. I am an older woman and my house was going to flood. Glenn Roeder #4588 was first of all very polite. He explained what he was going to do and went the extra mile to let me know what my problem was and to try and calm my nerves down. All service employees should take a page from Glenn's book on politeness and caring. He was quick and efficient as well.

Mike Honey and Crew completed a huge project for us. They did an amazing job replacing our old cast iron plumbing with all new. Mike was honest, responsive and he and his team kept a messy job worksite clean & organized, and allowed workable plumbing at the end of each day during the process. We have used Merlo plumbing for years and have been fairly satisfied with their service. However, last week, they literally averted a disaster. I was called by my housekeeper who told me a pipe had burst in front of our house while I was at work. I immediately called Missouri American Water service and placed an emergency order to come shut off our water. Right afterwards, I called Merlo Plumbing and placed an emergent work order to come to the house and repair the broken pipe. They told me they would have a serviceman there in an hour. I raced home and true to their word, a serviceman met me in the driveway. He saw how much water was coming up from the ground (it was almost as if a hydrant had burst) and literally ran around our front yard looking for the water shut off as Missouri American Water had not yet arrived. His name was Tony. Realizing it was from the irrigation system (which was supposed to be closed ) he went out and found the main shut off to our house and averted a major disaster. Water was EVERYWHERE and was flowing into our neighbors yard and had already gotten into the basement. Toni (Acinelli) could have not been more helpful and pleasant. He diagnosed the problem and addressed how it would be fixed. Still, over TWO HOURS after I placed an emergency call to MAW (Missouri American Water) they had FAILED TO SHOW. If it weren't for the quick response by Merlo and their crew (Tony)..I am sure our entire basement (AND MORE) would have flooded. We can't thank you enough.

Joe Jr. was great. Very professional job well done. Replaced the sewer stack. Cleaned up real good. Very pleased with job and how nice and friendly Joe was. Price was awesome too

Ron and his crew have fixed many issues in my hundred year old home, ranging from simple drain repairs to a partial repipe in my basement. They’ve been great to work with every time, and reasonably priced too.

Took my down payment and came out and started work but then never came back and finished. Stopped answering my phone calls. Stay away!
