$956, I'm not making this up!Yesterday Apollo gave me an quote of $956 to replace a leaky elbow on 1/2 inch pvc waterline. It was in my crawl space but easily accessible with stand-up headroom at the leak. Why so much I asked, it's $5 worth of parts and no doubt will take you less than an hour. He replied that it was their flat rate for replacing the elbow. I paid the $75 min estimate fee and said no thanks.I bought 2ft of 1/2 pfc, an elbow, and 2 couplings for $5 at H. Depot.
