Great plumbers and price is right

Mitch W. and Matt S, my service technicians, were very professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the repair. They explained the situation and what it was going to take to make the repair. They cleaned up afterwards. I am very satisfied with McVay Plumbing.

In the midst of a kitchen reno for a tenant, the plumber went missing, so I had to replace him quickly. I called Chad at Proudfoot and he and partner were able to come that same day. They proposed to come out and give me a bid, and come back to do the work another time. I told Chad that I didn't have time for that, and asked him to come prepared to do the job.

In all fairness, he did provide the price prior to doing the work, but they knew that I was not in a position to find another plumber. The prices were outrageous. $562.00 for garbage disposal + installation; $362.00 to install a kitchen faucet; $139.00 to prep for dishwasher installation. They would not install it - as every other plumber would. So $1060.00 for ???

I texted my 2 regular plumbers who both happened to be out of town at the same time. They both could not believe the price. Three times what they would have charged, and they would have installed the dishwasher.
But the guys were nice... if that counts.

Firstly, let me state that I am a person that reads all the negative reviews of a company BEFORE I read the positive ones. And, before I even call a company for that matter. Why? Because the company's response to the complaints provides me with their level of integrity. That said, Cuccaro Plumbing has helped me in resolving an issue that is still ongoing....not because of them. The problem is, water leaking into the basement, so I had to do a step by step process of elimination to determine the origin of the problem. Matt came out and unclogged the downspout along the same wall that is leaking into the basement in hopes the leaking would stop. It did not. I wanted Matt to come back and camera the sewer line to search for a broken pipe. He did not want to charge me for something that he believed unnecessary. Integrity! I called back and had quite a few conversations with Matt & Jessica regarding my options. They were so kind and patient, and answered all of my questions. They provided guidance and suggested a waterproofing company to look at the problem. So now I am on to the next step in this process, but wanted to write this review because I really enjoyed talking with them and will be very happy to have them come back for other projects. Thanks again Matt & Jessica!

We received 4 inches of rain in two days and my basement floor drain clogged. Our 120 year old basement usually takes on some water during heavy rain and it's usually not a big deal because the floor is intentionally sloped toward the center drain, but because of the clog it started to pool and became a few inches deep.

Bob from the Brookline Plumber was able to make a service call the same morning I called and professionally solved the problem and cleaned out the drain and trap. Reasonably priced, too. Would use again and recommend.

Jaros Plumbing is the exact type of plumber I was hoping to get when I went looking for one.

They showed up the very next day after I called. They replaced a very old pressure regulator for our home, replaced our water heater, and replaced a broken shut off in a few short hours. Everything looks clean and appears to be done with very high craftmanship. Afterwards, they spent extra time explaining other things they saw while working and offered free advice for how to monitor them.

The price was exceptionally fair as well, especially in this day and age.

I will absolutely be a returning customer the next time I need work done, and I will be recommending them to friends.

We had a gas leak at the meter and Brickhaas was one of the very few that even responded to our calls. The crew was polite and professional. Great group of guys! They do an ok job, if you can get them to return your phone call and actually come out to your home. I've been trying to get them out to my home for a month now and they have only returned my calls twice-once to take my info and tell me they would be out later in the week, and a second time several weeks later to tell me that they still intended to come out even though they never called to let me know they weren't coming the first time. Since then I have left more voicemails and none have been returned. Our landlord used them and we thought they did ok work so when we decided to demo the bathroom at our new home they were at the top of my list to contact. It appears that they don't want or don't need the business though. They have wasted our time. Don't waste yours.

John was great. He was on time and professional. He took the time to answer questions and explain things to us.

I called Mr Chase and he came the same day, didn't charge me emergency same day service fee, he quickly diagnosed my problem and fixed it. He gave me tips on how to maintain the plumbing in my historic (old) home and I will definitely call him again if I need to!

The staff worked very diligently and even came back after the job was done to fix something. However, for the amount that we paid for the entire job to be done, the overall quality really disappointed us. The cement that was put into the basement was very rough, and there didn't seem to be an effort to smooth it out to the existing cement.
