First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

I recently hired Orion as my usual plumber was too booked but he recommended using them. Our 100 yr+ plus old cast iron stack pipe finally cracked and leaked. Orion came same day as called for an estimate and review, and was back the following morning to do all the necessary work, and didnt leave until completed, tested, and cleaned up afterwards. Service was affordable compared to more widely advertised plumbers, with all work satisfactorily done, with any emerging issues explained and resolved - you start working on a house like ours, you're gonna encounter things you didn't expect. Highly recommended and would use again!

This is my first review that I ever wrote, I work in the Auto Industry where reviews are the most important feed back we get. I purchased a new house and the dye test failed because there was a crack in the sewer line, in the closing of the house $5,000 was set aside so this work could be completed. After I moved in McVay Plumbing contacted me to schedule the work needed to fix the issue. Job was done in a few days and I thought that was that. However when we tried to turn our front light on it tripped the breaker, puzzled I reset it and tried again and bang the breaker tripped again. I knew something was wrong so after investigating I found that McVay Plumbing dug up the front light post electrical line and taped the exposing wires together so every time I turned on the light it tripped the breaker. You would think they would know better than to tape the wires together touching one another... After discovering this I called McVay Plumbing and spoke to Mike the Owner and asked him if he remembers doing the job and if he remembers digging up the Electrical line to my front light, he said NO. Not only did he say NO but informed me that when they dug there hole in my front yard that they never ran into a electrical line. I asked him who taped the lines together then since my breaker was not tripping until after they finished the job, he had no answer for me. So being that the electrical line was taped and sticking out of the ground that they dug up I asked him if I was responsible to repair it and his answer to me was and I quote I'm not a Electrician Really?? That's what he told me... So I thanked him for his time in taking my call and hung up. I'm not a plumber, electrician or carpenter either. Knowing a little bit I started digging a hole so I could locate the other end of the line so I could splice them back together and have a working front light post. After digging down and finding the other electrical line under the ground I followed it up and to my surprise the other end was stuffed inside my bush right next to the hold that McVay Plumbing dug in my front yard. That would have been nice to know and would have made my Electrician repair job much easier. After saying a few obscenities about the fact that I had to take my time and novice skill level to repair McVay's Plumbing error I spliced the wire correctly and taped it up and buried it the way it should have been before McVay Plumbing said the job was finished and moved on to another. I was going to let it go and move on with my life but as much as I work hard to get excellent reviews from all of my customers (99.6% CSI ranking) I thought that if you are looking for any plumbing work done and you read this that it might help you decide on who you can trust to give you a complete job and not half ass.

We called for a hot water tank inspection as well as water hammering with our pipes. Tony was our tech and he was knowledgeable and helpful. He also showed us some things to look for when looking over our hot water tank and made some recommendations to think about. Overall happy with the service.

I had SH Plumbing replace two toilets in my home. I had a previous appointment the week before that they canceled. Shortly after arriving I had asked if I could get a discount due to the cancellation on their end. I believe the employees name was Tom he said and I quote, “No, do you want me to stop right now”. I proceeded to say I thought I could get some type of discount because you guys canceled on me..He replied a second time, No, do you want me to pack up and leave right now”. I understand if that’s there policy, however I did not like his tone. I made arrangements to be home for the first appointment and canceled plans. I will not be using them in the future for this reason

Jaros Plumbing is the exact type of plumber I was hoping to get when I went looking for one.

They showed up the very next day after I called. They replaced a very old pressure regulator for our home, replaced our water heater, and replaced a broken shut off in a few short hours. Everything looks clean and appears to be done with very high craftmanship. Afterwards, they spent extra time explaining other things they saw while working and offered free advice for how to monitor them.

The price was exceptionally fair as well, especially in this day and age.

I will absolutely be a returning customer the next time I need work done, and I will be recommending them to friends.

I called around to a lot of places for quotes on a water heater replacement and these guys had the best rate by far. Dispatch was very pleasant to deal with, and Maryanne made sure I was on the schedule before the weekend so my daughter and I weren't without hot water until Monday. Brandon came out at the exact time dispatch said he would, and he was very polite and professional. He explained everything clearly and did not try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff I didn't need which is more than could be said about a lot of competitors. There were absolutely no hidden fees or up charges, I paid exactly what was quoted. Brandon even gave some advice on possible issues with my chimney and things to look out for on my PVM. From start to finish, I really don't think it could've gone better. I'll absolutely be calling them for future work.

This plumber is a scam. He did a scope for a house I was in contract with, I called him to get the information. I left him several messages all which were not returned. Finally he texted me saying the sewer lines were in good condition. At this point I did not believe him so I had another plumbing company come do a scope which I paid for. They told me the inside sewer lines were horrible and would cause a back up if not fixed. This first due plumber has no idea what he’s talking about. Probably friends with the seller of the house. All in all had a very bad experience with this guy.
10/10 do not recommend.
