Best Emergency Services Call in Pittsburgh PA

First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

I could not be happier with the service I received from Proudfoot. My call was returned the same day and the scope of the job as well as price were thoroughly explained upfront. Their work is exceptional (tankless water heater and gas line to the kitchen) and better yet the respect they have for your home is unparalleled. They cleaned up after themselves so well no one would have ever known they were even there. Proudfoot will definitely have my business in the future.

They communicate well, let you know when to expect them. I'm pleased with the work completed, they were professional and personable. Will definitely work with them again.

Will Copney arrived on time when the appointment was scheduled, worked quickly to diagnose my issue (pinhole leak in water line) and acted performed very well to fix the issue and restored water usage in my house. He was very knowledgeable and professional when speaking to myself and explaining to me what was wrong and how he was going to fix it.

The installation team (Ryan and others) were excellent. We had to insist on a larger AC Unit, as there was unaccounted square footage. Also surprised that there was drilling through an outside wall that was not explained when getting and signing the bid. STILL....I'd recommend them highly- the price was very reasonable- definitely less than others! And the work was completed efficiently and with no worries by an excellent team of workers. Would definitely use South Side Plumbing and Heating again!!

Jaros plumbing was incredible to work with for the plumbing issues I was having with my water heater expansion tank and pressure valve. I called Jaros after another plumbing company not only couldn't figure out what problem I was having, but ended up causing more damage then when they started. Jaros was able to come in and quickly diagnose the root cause of my issues and fix them very quickly in the same day. The team was on time, very polite, knowledgeable, and kept the work area clean and tidy. Will be using them for future plumbing needs.

Brickhaas is absolutely the best plumbing and HVAC contractor I have ever experienced. Brickhaas doesn't try to lock you into a service contract, as other big contractors do. They don't need to. Their quality and fair pricing is enough to maintain customer loyalty. I have used Brickhaas for both plumbing and HVAC needs. They have replaced plumbing fixtures and my entire HVAC system, as I picked up a new (20+ year old} home that was reaching the end of its existing systems. All the new work done by Brickhaas has improved my home in terms of quality, efficiency and safety. All the team members at Brickhaas are excellent, but I am particularly impressed with Dominic. He is extremely intelligent, diligent and personable. Couldn't ask for more.

John from Gillece came to my house today to address an issue regarding a vent pipe. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We also did a 360 review of the plumbing system and he quickly identified and remedied other issues that could have become major problems for me in the future. I have had a lot of contractors come through my house and by far the service received here was one of the best. I highly recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future. Top notch.

Pat did a very good job fixing a gas leak. He did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable.

Had an incorrect install of a few widespread faucets in two bathrooms on Saturday by a handyman. Restano came in an emergency call Sunday after leaks and fixed them within an hour and a half. A little pricey but did a great job. I had called at 9am and they were there on that Sunday by 11. Very pleased.

The techs showed up on time. Installed HVAC. Tested both units. Installed thermostat. Reviewed operation of thermostat. Cleaned up from the install. Very professional and polite.

Had a massive job. Lined a sewer pipe - 12 feet. They were prompt,clean,explained each step and relaid the cement BEAUTIFULLY. I can barely tell which cement was replaced! The communication from the office staff is excellent and super friendly. While on-site, they rehabbed 2, 1951 toilets. One is pink and the other blue, irreplaceable. Many plumbers had told me the toilets could not be fixed, Pittsburgh Plumbing did it! Lastly, their bid was over $2500 less the my other bid. I am so pleased with their professionalism! Thank you for your hard work.

Found my go to plumber. Outstanding service and took a lot of pride in they're work with very reasonable prices.

The water tank in two of our bathrooms needed repair because of loss of water due to mechanical problems. A person from Miller Plumbing came to take a look at the toilette tanks. He proceed to tell me that he was going to charge me $39.00 for the visit and also said something to the effect that it would cost me $379.00 to fix the bathrooms. I guess it was my misunderstanding but even the price quoted was quite steep to fix the leaking problems in the tanks. Furthermore, he said that he would be returning soon to fix the issues with the toilettes. In fact, he came the next day in the morning. To my surprise, once he was finished with the job, he proceeded to bill me for another $727.00 on top of the deposit of $100 that I had paid him the previous day. I assume that the fixtures that he bought to replace the ones that are in the bathroom could not have been much higher than $50. That means that I paid about $750 for Miller Plumbing for less than an hour's time of one of its employees. That's the time he took to fix the plumbing. I told the person the the price was outrageous but he told me that is the price to fix a bathroom, 379 for each, plus $39 for the visit and the rest for the fixtures that were provided. Highway robbery to say the least. If you are looking to fix anything in your bathroom keep away from Miller Plumbing. I could have bought two new toilette bowls and have them installed for the price that I paid to fix some minor plumbing issues. I tried to put a stop payment on the check but it was too late to do so. If I could give less than a star to Miller Plumbing I would gladly give it to them.

The staff worked very diligently and even came back after the job was done to fix something. However, for the amount that we paid for the entire job to be done, the overall quality really disappointed us. The cement that was put into the basement was very rough, and there didn't seem to be an effort to smooth it out to the existing cement.

Had them out a while back for a no heat problem . They told me that I had a cracked heat exchanger , and needed to replace the furnace immediately . Their quote was ridiculous . When I declined , he said he would red tag my furnace , and call the building inspector , and then I would have to leave my house until it was fixed . I asked him to show me where the crack was, but his camera conveniently died . I offered to go pick him up a battery. , but his takes “ special “ batteries. Told him to go kick rocks . Had another company come out , replace the thermocouple, and no more problems. And we looked at the heat exchanger with his camera . Couldn’t find anything . These guys are con men . Find someone with integrity to work on your home …
