Best Emergency Plumbing in Pittsburgh PA

Has anyone ever had a positive plumbing experience? Well I just did. I recently had a clogged toilet that I could not personally un-clog. Due to my crazy work schedule I only had a small window of time to have someone fix the problem. Dave Stahl (Plumbing and Drain) not only worked with my schedule by coming super early, he had it fixed in nothing flat. Efficient, clean, personable and incredibly reasonable. They will forever be my go to for my plumbing needs! I am so grateful.

Poor customer service attitude. Repeatedly forgets to follow up.

First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

I was calling around to find a plumber to fix work that a different plumbing company did for me. When I called McVay Plumbing and told them my issue, a technician named Ben IMMEDIATELY called me back. Because it was an emergency, he had me send him pictures of the problem so that he could show to the Master Plumber (aka Rocco). Ben got back with me with a reasonable estimate, and I was going to get a loan for them to fix the work for me. However, Ben told me that the Master Plumber (aka Rocco) said that I should contact the previous company and demand that they come and remove the work that they improperly did, and to request a FULL refund. Yesterday, I took Rocco's advice and that company called me this morning. They came and fixed the problem that they left me with, FOR FREE! I want to thank Ben and Rocco because most companies wouldn't have given me any advice, especially when I wasn't even a customer yet! Their honesty and integrity tells me that McVay Plumbing cares about the safety and needs of their customers, or potential customers! I would DEFINITELY recommend McVay Plumbing to anyone, and I will only be calling them if I ever need a plumber again! These 2 men lifted a lot of stress off of me and I'm so grateful... Thanks again Ben and Rocco!!!!

We had a sewer line backup that needed professional attention. These guys were able to make it to us quickly and didn't charge any fees for a rush visit. The two men were very friendly and professional. They made sure to wear masks (COVID...) the whole time and took care of our issue quickly without making a mess either. I would definitely recommend them!

Had a potential emergency situation with an old shut off valve to the gas line inside my home. Chris was available to come that same day, arrived with in about an hour after the initial call was made. After diagnosing the issue, he provided me with different options for repairing the problem and the cost to each option. Made the repair on the same day. Was able to sleep at peace that night knowing the issue was resolved.

Jaros Plumbing is the exact type of plumber I was hoping to get when I went looking for one.

They showed up the very next day after I called. They replaced a very old pressure regulator for our home, replaced our water heater, and replaced a broken shut off in a few short hours. Everything looks clean and appears to be done with very high craftmanship. Afterwards, they spent extra time explaining other things they saw while working and offered free advice for how to monitor them.

The price was exceptionally fair as well, especially in this day and age.

I will absolutely be a returning customer the next time I need work done, and I will be recommending them to friends.

Matt Mertz Plumbing was recommended to us by two of our clients so we reached out when we needed to address an issue pertaining to our storm/sewer lateral. Technician, Chris Sperl, stopped by our home and gave me excellent advice, though it cost him the opportunity to do the work I thought I wanted. Chris was experienced, friendly, and professional. Vince was a real life saver. City did some work on the water lines and in the process caused a blockage of my sewer line. Vince was there within a few hours and met with me and schedule the snaking for the next morning. He was able to diagnose with blockage and pin point where it was. He also reviewed the footage sent from the city and determined that it wasn’t even my house. His expertise allow me to go to the city with full confidence and have the issue resolved. All he charged me for was for the snaking and his creditable was essential in this process. Thank you Vince
