Best Commercial Kitchen Plumbing in Pittsburgh PA

First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

I found out I had a gas leak in my home around 11am in the morning. The gas company obviously shut the gas off until the leak could be identified and and the line could be repaired. I immediately started calling places because it’s been so cold out and knew it could get to zero or below at night. Orion Plumbing called me back immediately sent someone out within an hour or so. He quickly found the issue and spent all day replacing the outside pipe leading into the house (snow on the ground and temperature between 15 and 20) so that the gas company could come back out before it got dark so we’d have heat overnight. He was so nice, letting me know every step of the way what he was doing. He even stayed until the gas company came to make sure everything was alright, and tested the furnace, stove, and hot water tank to make sure they were all working correctly before he left. Knowing this is a ridiculously busy season for them, I don’t have words to express how grateful I am that they came out to fix it that day. Fady, the owner who was also busy, stopped to bring supplies, and was also extremely nice. I really can’t say enough good things, but would definitely recommend them, and I will be using them for any plumbing concerns I have in the future.

I could not be happier with the service I received from Proudfoot. My call was returned the same day and the scope of the job as well as price were thoroughly explained upfront. Their work is exceptional (tankless water heater and gas line to the kitchen) and better yet the respect they have for your home is unparalleled. I have been using Mertz plumbing for a few years. They ALWAYS show up when they say. Everyone that has come is polite and professional, and takes the time to explain what needs done, what they did or plan B, if plan A doesn’t work. I have a mechanic that I trust and am very loyal to, and have used for 25 years. Now I have a plumber.

DON'T DO IT! I would never recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing. I called Mr. Rooter last Sunday. The pilot light went out on my hot water tank. They were not able to send anyone on Sunday but did send someone late morning on Monday. The technician tried to light the pilot but it would not work. The tank was installed in 2003 so the technician recommended a new one. I asked how much it would be and the quote he gave me was $2,016. Realizing that it was extremely high, I asked the price of the hot water tank. He told me around $700. I then asked for an itemized list of the cost. He told me he did not have one and I would need to call the company. I had been without hot water for over 24 hours so I was anxious to have the situation remedied. The technician told me that in order for him to do the work, I needed to sign an emergency work order. Emergency? It was not an emergency. He was there during business hours on a Monday. The technician was able to finish the job completely in about an hour and a half. He only needed to install the tank and nothing else. He was able to use the existing vent. While he was working, I called Mr. Rooter and asked for an itemized list of costs. I was told that the, Man who does that isn't in right now and that they would get back to me. Of course, that didn't happen. I also sent an email to the company and not surprisingly, I received no response. This was NOT an emergency. $1,000 or even $1,200 would be a fair price for this job but over $2,000? And no itemized list of the cost?

We recently moved to Pittsburgh and were looking for a solid plumbing and heating company. Based on South Side Plumbing & Heating's reviews and my conversations with Bill and John, we hired them for a major plumbing fix and new A/C installation and couldn't be happier. Ryan and Josh were fantastic installing our new Trane A/C system! The entire team, from the front office to the expert technicians are professional, knowledgeable and responsive! I called around to a lot of places for quotes on a water heater replacement and these guys had the best rate by far. Dispatch was very pleasant to deal with, and Maryanne made sure I was on the schedule before the weekend so my daughter and I weren't without hot water until Monday. Brandon came out at the exact time dispatch said he would, and he was very polite and professional. He explained everything clearly and did not try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff I didn't need which is more than could be said about a lot of competitors. There were absolutely no hidden fees or up charges, I paid exactly what was quoted. Brandon even gave some advice on possible issues with my chimney and things to look out for on my PVM. From start to finish, I really don't think it could've gone better. I'll absolutely be calling them for future work.

Vince is very reliable and as many others have said, really knows his stuff and what he's talking about. He's great at communicating when setting up an appointment and won't ghost you. He took care of resetting a toilet and installing a kitchen faucet for us. We highly recommend his services and will definitely be repeat customers.

We had a leak in our bathroom and they were able to send out a plumber the very next day! He came within the specified window, explained exactly what was wrong and how he would fix it. He went to get the parts and fixed it right there. It was exactly what we needed, no hidden fixes or tricks. We have used Cirigliano for over 5 years now and have never been disappointed.

I didn't use them to do the work needed because of how unprofessional and non-responsive they were. Needed to install 2 shut off values, contact Mongiovi because they handle the maintenance of the fire/sprinkler system within my HOA. After 30 days of me reaching out to them (over 6 times calls and emails) to get a technician out to look at the job, to get the actual quote and pricing, they quoted $600 for 2 shut off values. The other 2 quotes were between $150 & $250, so they were charging more than double. Which means they didn't want to do the job or just plain screw me over. Finally got the corrected quote, then one of the sons contacted me after I sent them an email about how poorly they handled this request. I had called the owner Rick twice and he didn't have the common courtesy to call me back. Wouldn't recommend using this company!!!

The staff worked very diligently and even came back after the job was done to fix something. However, for the amount that we paid for the entire job to be done, the overall quality really disappointed us. The cement that was put into the basement was very rough, and there didn't seem to be an effort to smooth it out to the existing cement.
