Best Broken Water Heater in Pittsburgh PA

First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

About 2 years ago I had these guys out to change the old pipes under the bathroom floor. After the work was done the toilet was still leaking granted a smaller amount but still leaking. When I called about it the basically caused me out. Blamed the problem on me. Because I did not let them replace the whole system costing me thousands of dollars. I jut had a guy out to terrace the toilet because it is loose on the bottom and leaking badly. This company broke the flange when putting the toilet down. Instead of fixing it use plummers putty to fill in and hold the bolt down. Then put 3 wax rings to cover up what they did. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE

Had an emergency today and they got to the house within 90 minutes! Very fair pricing as well. Thanks guys!

The installation team (Ryan and others) were excellent. We had to insist on a larger AC Unit, as there was unaccounted square footage. Also surprised that there was drilling through an outside wall that was not explained when getting and signing the bid. STILL....I'd recommend them highly- the price was very reasonable- definitely less than others! And the work was completed efficiently and with no worries by an excellent team of workers. Would definitely use South Side Plumbing and Heating again!!

Bill has been my plumber for many years. He is responsive and has always done a great job. He just completed replacing a sewer line and did a fantastic job. Worked long and hard to get the job done. Everything was very clean after they left. He quoted a very good price and no over runs. I feel I can trust him. And I highly recommend him and his wife.

Called them for an estimate, said what was needed done, and someone came out to look at the gas riser, I needed to have replaced per Columbia gas, after he came to look at it I get a proposal of 2,700 dollars! I didn’t need the gas line completely replaced or a pressure test or whatever she was saying on the phone to me, literally got another guy out the next day and did what was needed done for a 3rd of their proposal! Shop around before signing or doing any work with this company! They are all about ripping off the customer, and also in the proposal it said not responsible for replacing the landscaping, I’m sorry but you ripping up my yard and not putting grass seed back is an issue! Just stay away from this money hungry company

These guys set the standard for how all businesses should be run. Communication was fantastic, start to finish and everyone was very professional. Rick, Nick, Steve, Dan and Cayden did a wonderful job. Charged an exorbitant amount for faucet installation even though I had the faucet. I saw the bad reviews and ignored them. I GOT BURNED!

Do NOT use this company. They didn't even try to address the problem through our home warranty company. They voided our warranty. Very unprofessional. Tried changing the app (3) times in one day after agreeing upon a time when initially setup the appt. Workers got mud all over the house.

I called to get a quote to install the plumbing and drains for a washing machine at my workplace. I've been trying to get ahold of someone for about 1 month regarding the quote. No one ever calls me back. They came to look at the area where I wanted it installed in my work building and didn't even call to tell me they were coming, so I was not even at work yet to discuss anything with them. Needless to say, very unprofessional. I've spoken to the office person about every other day. Her response was, I'll take your name and have them give you a call back. Literally, no one ever calls. I was a little surprised by this because Hruska came highly recommended.
