Parker & Sons Plumber
Update: Parker and Sons had not responded to my insurance despite multiple calls and emails. I was informed on 3/8 that Parker and Sons would follow up and not forget about the claim. To date they have not reached out or followed up. Another reason why I would not recommend them.Parker and Sons reconnected my garbage disposal and other plumbing under my kitchen sink after having new counters installed. The technician told me the garbage disposal wouldn't fit and I had to buy a slimmer version. What? They weren't redoing the plumbing, just reconnecting the old stuff. After some conversation I did purchase a new disposal and the plumber finished the job the following week. However he didn't connect one of the pipes correctly and I had a huge flood in my kitchen. Parker and Sons called out a restoration company to remediate the water damage. I was told to submit the claim to my insurance if I wanted the kitchen fixed faster, which I did. What I learned is that they were taking advantage of an elderly, naive woman. I should not have put the claim in. They will not reimburse me for the deductible or my insurance company for their expenses. We have been in subrogation for almost a year now. I would never use their services again, nor recommend to a friend. In the picture you can see a pipe in the back that doesn't have a cap installed. That is where all the water came out from.

Plomero en Phoenix Plumber
Would highly recommend Plomero. They were very professional and had excellent communication through the entire process. Even calling me 30 min prior to arrival and texting with GPS tracking of the technician. Armando was friendly and professional as well, completing the job quickly. Their rate was the lowest of 3 quotes I got. Will be using them in the future.

Elemental Plumbers technician came to service our hot water heater was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He took the time to explain what was going on with our water heater and how to properly maintain it. He also identified another issue with our plumbing and fixed it on the spot. Chas Roberts Air Conditioning and Plumbing Plumber
So, if anyone is needing to buy a new AC unit and wonders if going with the more expensive, energy efficient model really is the better unit-I can tell you it is worth every penny! After lots of research and weighing the pros and cons of purchasing, I invested in a variable-speed AC unit just over a month ago and just got my APS bill. I kept everything set exactly like we had with the older (15 year old) unit and I cut my bill almost in half. When comparing last year (kept at 78 degrees) to this year (kept at 76 degrees) and last month (kept at 76 degrees old unit) and this month (kept at 76 degrees) my bill was less than my equalizer payment and I have a credit already from APS. I never have a credit this time of year! Our house is always cool, less humidity and the machine is super quiet! I might be paying on the unit for a bit, but what I'm saving in electricity and getting in comfort is absolutely worth it, plus a 10 year warranty-can't be beat! Thank you Chas Roberts.

Jan Ashford Plumbing Plumber
I would like to share my experience with Reddi Services/Jan Ashford Plumbing. First let me explain the 2 names. Redi-Services is who I called, but Jan Plumbing is who showed up.

On Sunday September 8th I needed the service of a plumber. I will try to explain my displeasure for the company and service in a chronological order.

I called at 6:30am and they assured that I would be the first job of the day, I was told I would receive a phone call at 8am when Dispatch opened. At 8:30 after no phone call I headed to the store to get the parts to fix the leak myself.
ISSUE 1. They never called back, I had to call them

I purchased the $23 in parts and called Reddi Services back. They said a plumber would be there shortly. I now had bids from other plumbers I had called. Average cost was $100-125
Jan Ashford Plumbing (sent by Reddi Services) showed up around 9:15am. The plumber quoted me $260. I was able to get the price reduced to $221 and agreed to do the work. The Plumber then told me he was going to use my parts I just purchased. I asked if he had his own parts and he said yes, but will have to charge me more.
ISSUE 2. The price was double what I had already been quoted verbally.
ISSUE 3. The plumber asked to use my parts or who would charge me more money than his already inflated price.

The repair took approximately 30 minutes as I was working in the yard nearby and noticed the water was back on. I walked over and he said it was done. It was then I pointed out that his repair was leaking. He seemed frustrated and said he would have to charge me for more parts to fix the leak.
ISSUE 4. I had to point out the leak to the plumber. I paid for a professional to fix the issue without leaking.
ISSUE 5. The Plumber wanted to charge me more money to fix his faulty work.

Another 30 minutes went by and he was able to finally fix the leak. I asked him to cover the pipes back up and he acted as if he was doing me a favor and then used my tools to do it.
ISSUE 6. I didn't expect attitude to cover the pipes back up. If I had not asked they would have left with the pipes exposed in the ground. They didn't bring any tools to do this, so I guess they are not equipped to fix repairs under the earth.

I now I had several bids returned back to me from other plumbers. All were less than $150 to do the repairs based upon several pictures provided and descriptions of the work needed. At this point I felt as if I was being price gouged. The repair if he had done it correctly the first time only took 30 minutes as I had most of the prep work done. With me supplying the pipes and fittings that means I would have been charged $442 per hour. My cost was $221. Reddi Services states they don't charge a trip charge and will give you a free estimate. Let me repeat that. If he had repaired it correctly the first time in the 30 minutes, I would have been charged $442 dollars per hour (1/2 hour at $221). Even with having to cut his leaking repair off and re doing it was just over an hours work. This was still over $200 per hour for a plumbing job that most plumbers in AZ charge 80-90 per hour for labor.

We are a smoke free family, and while I was working outside, I could smell cigarette smoke. I found the plumber sitting on the ground smoking while he was working.
ISSUE 7 The plumber was smoking on my property while working.

I tried to pay with a credit card and was told I would be charged 10% so I paid in cash.
ISSUE 8. wanted to charged 10% extra to pay in credit.

I contacted Reddi Services to express my concerns I have outlined above. The end result was an offer of $40 refund not the $100 I requested. I declined the $40.
ISSUE 9. I attempted to resolve this with management but was only offered a $40 dollar credit and no real apology for their performance.

If you want to be price gouged, have the repair done twice, supply your own parts, have the worker smoke on your property, and try to again price gouge you to use your credit card, then give Jan Ashford a call, Im sure you wont be disappointed.
