My experience was efficient and professional from beginning to ending. I received a call back from his office in a timely manner and after I provided the necessary details for the job, I received a text confirmation within minutes that John would be there with an approximate time. I received another text when he was actually heading my way. He was very personable, polite, and professional, and my kitchen sink drain was clear within an hour of his arrival. The cost was affordable and reasonable for quality work, which is what he delivered. After payment, I received a thank you, receipt, and review request via email. I had a very positive experience with Guaranteed. We had a sewage pipe leaking into our basement - I called at 7am and there were techs out by 9am. They diagnosed the issue (though it is $125 for each cut of drywall), and came back next day to do the work. They were very clean, on time, and I really appreciated their ability to fix the problem so quickly.

I called to get an estimate, someone came out to give us the free estimate, which was reasonable. When I called back to sign the contract and set a date for the work, it took 3 days for someone to email me a correct contract. The first person I talked to took 2 days to send me an inaccurate contract via email (both my address and the total cost for the job were incorrect). I called back to get an accurate contract. I finally received the correct contract and sent it back signed. An entire week went by without a call or email confirming the receipt of my contract. I called to find out what happened and was put on hold for 10 minutes. No one ever came back to pick up the phone. Two days later I called back again. By now it's been over 3 weeks since this entire process started. I was put on hold again for another 8 minutes only for someone else to come to the phone and ask, Can I help you? No reference whatsoever for my call. I explained for the second time why I was calling. I gave the name of the person I'd sent the original signed contract to via email. They went and got the person on the call and the person claims to have never received my email. I forwarded her the very email she claims to have never received. When I asked why there wasn't at least a follow-up call, she said she doesn't bother the customer, she just waits until they're ready. I mentioned that considering the circumstances, the fact that she assured me she would take care of me after the first associate dropped the ball by taking days just to send me the wrong contract, it would've been nice, especially if she claims to have not received the contract, knowing I'm trying to get the work done asap, to have shot a quick email or gave a quick call to check in. Having been put on hold for probably close to an hour in cumulative time, I've heard their pre-recorded on hold messages quite a bit. One of them says they're big enough to serve you, yet small enough to care. I'm far from convinced after the past 3 weeks. The most inefficient customer service I've experienced in a very long time.

Joe and his team (April, Lorraine, Dennis, Josh et al) are terrific. Very customer service oriented, high-quality workmanship and backed by great support. We've upgraded to new high-efficiency boiler/hot water heaters at our home in the Philly suburbs and a rental property in Philadelphia in the past couple of years. I was having an issue with my heat. Edward Hugest & Sons Plumbing was highly recommended by a friend. I called up and got an appointment right away. They came over and found the problem. The repair was reasonable and my heat was up and working the same day as the visit. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good reputable company. There are a lot of crooks out there and you must be careful.

I would not recommend them to anyone! Makes up prices as they go and have no respect customers. I would definitely not recommend Emilio Melendez to do work in anyones house! EVER Absolutely ignorant.
