City plumber had the part I needed to fix my toilet and showed up as scheduled. Joe and Dave came to my house. Dave was very nice but Joe was horribly rude. He would not look up from his phone (literally) while I was talking to him about a leak in my bathroom. He also either completely ignored my questions or gave one work answers that were not enough info to answer my questions. I would not recommend anyone paying for a service and being treated like this. I would never call this plumber again.

I want to thank you all for great service, and for doing a fantastic job providing me with a new water meter pipeline. The staff here are super professional, courteous and thorough. I appreciate each and everyone of you Eric, Debbie, Rich and Joe. I'm so pleased with the work done, what a blessing and now I can have peace of mind that there's no more leaking pipes, no moist basement, no more bugs! I wish every vendor & contractor we used was as great as Chris and the services we get through Veteran. We really appreciate Chris taking the time to explain what needs to be done and why, as well as letting us know about things we can fix ourselves. Can’t say enough good things about Veteran!

Frank did a very good job in fixing and replacing a section of sewer stand pipe in the basement. He had to break up the concrete floor, extract the old pipe that had a crack in it and insert a new cast iron section of the pipe. He was efficient and competent and cleaned up everything. Very satisfied.

Second time I've used this company. Both times I was charged a reasonable amount and received very good service from technicians who were friendly and professional. I did call someone else first and was given a quote that was very high, in my opinion. Then I called Hughes and they beat the other's price by half. Works for me.

Great service. Always on time and call ahead of appointments to make sure someone is home. Would highly recommend. Had entire ac/heating system replaced by Green years ago and very happy.

This company was doing cement and plumbing work for my neighbor. And like most contractors, made a mess and were inconsiderate of the neighborhood. That aside, I was planning to call them to do some work for my house until I discovered that the son of the company owner helped himself to my garden hose which is two houses down. He dragged my hose through cement, mud and muck, borrowed it without asking and then had the gall to toss it back without winding it back on the spigot. Disrespectful and rude. When I confronted the son his reply was “it was an emergency.” He left sand and grit on my sidewalk and curb.Folks, I’m not sure if you want to hire a company whose owner helps himself to other people’s belongings.
