I simply do not trust Mr Rooter to be honest and fair. Over the phone, the plumber quoted me $1800 to replace a pipe that he said was leaking accompanied with a photo. I decided to see exactly what was wrong, so I drove from San Francisco to Oakland to see personally what was going on. When I got there, what the plumber was quoting $1800 was a simple fix that I could do myself. It required taking out the old galvanized and replacing a 4' piece with PVC. Hardly worth anywhere close to $1800. I told him to just clean out the clogged pipe as originally requested and I would do the rest. All the sudden the $1800 dropped to $275, which was still kinda high, but he was there with the parts, so I agreed. The total job took less than an hour to do. The charge, $300 to clean the pipe and $275 to replace the leaking joint and galvanized pipe.

If I didn't have a basic understanding of plumbing, enough to question his assessment, that job would have totaled $2100 for about an hours worth of work. Do you really think I should recommend your services to another unsuspecting victim? Hell no. Your company is what I would call a predator company, preying on those that have no knowledge of what is required, and relying on trust that is evidently absent.

Straightforward, professional, and fairly quick to get us in our schedule, Mauro's plumbing left us very satisfied. You might have to follow up an email with a phone call, as everybody in the bay seems a touch overworked these days, they will make sure things work for you. Very nice installers as well.

My plumber who was not available found Natalie in Yelp for me. I am very satisfied with Natalie's work. She did a great job! She unclog two toilets and left my bathrooms as she found them. She was friendly, fast and professional.

Schwartzbart Plumbing replaced all our shower drainage pipes and did an excellent job with hard-to-diagnose problems.  Rouset was extremely honest, responsive, understanding and kind throughout.  I have to say this was a difficult job for him, with an elderly owner and a very old house which came with lots and lots of tricks.  Yet he and his team did everything they said they would, on time, in a professional manner, and always with a smile to keep you calm.

I cannot say enough gteat things about Tony and his crew. I have managed multiple properties in multiple states across the US from east coast to west coast to Hawaii. They are the best plumbers I've ever worked with. Here another plus, they left the place sparking clean! We had a leak pipe and disgusting sludge ended up ask over our garage. Tony and his team in addition to the fantastic plumbing work clean everything up. I had called a biohazmat cleaning company who quoted me $650 for the job. You can't go wrong with Bay Plumbing. I'm so grateful I found them! Also Tony, the owner is a really fantastic guy who makes sure his workers and assistance are treated very well. When I first met Tony at 7:30 at night he look like this really young guy and I was concerned he might not be experienced enough to handle the job. Boy was I wrong! I'll be uploading photos later.
