The crawl space and detached garage under my home flooded during the recent round of extreme weather. In addition to spending time manually pumping water out of my garage, my furnace went out due to being submerged in water. Despite being incredibly busy with neighbors having similar issues, Rey responded quickly, got my furnace up and running, and put together a sump pump and drainage plan to mitigate future flooding. As soon as we had a dry day, Rey and his efficient and friendly team installed the sump and drainage. For the first time in weeks, I didn't spend time during/after heavy rains pumping water out of my garage - it was dry as a bone! Rey's pricing was very fair and he and his team have been great to work with. I highly recommend this business.

After spending two days trying to get a different plumber out for a clog in our main sewer line, they finally came, told me they couldn’t help me that day, scheduled for the next day, and quoted me just over $300.

I could not live another day without toilets and sinks (with sewage backing up into my shower), so I called Mr. Rooter. Within 40 minutes, Alex was at my house. He was professional, thorough and conscientious. I could not believe how careful he was with everything in our home. It was like a night and day difference from the previous plumbing company. Alex took the time to explain in detail what was wrong, every step he was completing, and stayed for hours when the proposed solution didn’t immediately work. Whereas the other plumber clearly wanted to get home in time for dinner, Alex understood our situation and made sure to stay until the problem was solved. Yes, the cost was much higher than the other plumber quoted (in total, about $800). But I shudder to think the corners the other plumber would have cut, considering how unprofessional they were and how little they seemed to care. Alex’s hard work and kind demeanor made the high price tag sting a bit less. He is a gem!

They where abel to temporally patch my roof to stop the slow leak dripping down our kitchen ceiling and remove the water damage drywall in our ceiling.

They had to come back, after the roofer did a permanent fix on roof, to patch up and repair the different areas of where they removed the water damage drywall.

I phoned the San Leandro office... I got an answering machine... I left a message on the voice-mail.. The next morning Mike called me back to set up an appointment for my repair work... (my kitchen drain pipes were clogged and leaking water)... Mike arrived on the day and time we agreed to... He was very polite and professional... After he completed the repair work on my kitchen sink pipes, I was soooooo impressed by his workmanship... All new pipes and great flow of the water through them... and the price of the job was cheaper than I expected... Went through a couple plumbers until I flound these guys. Super professional and extremely effective. Not the cheapest, but you really want your plumbing done right.

Schwartzbart Plumbing replaced all our shower drainage pipes and did an excellent job with hard-to-diagnose problems.  Rouset was extremely honest, responsive, understanding and kind throughout.  I have to say this was a difficult job for him, with an elderly owner and a very old house which came with lots and lots of tricks.  Yet he and his team did everything they said they would, on time, in a professional manner, and always with a smile to keep you calm.
