Best Boiler Replacement in Oakland CA

I called Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating this time because our water heater was leaking and the temperature kept getting lower over time. When I called I asked if they do repair and they said they try to repair instead of replacing if possible.I have used Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating multiple times and have had great experiences with them. Mauricio and Mike spent quite some time diagnosing and fixing my plumbing problems.Mauricio and Mike came to my house and told me the water heater could be repaired but it would only last a couple of years. I decided to replace and got a new one installed for less than I expected. Thanks for your commitment to excellence, it shows and helps! I would NEVER use another company again and I would recommend them to everyone!!!

I called the number listed on their page and was directly connected to Gerald (the owner I believe) to schedule a service consultation. I've already had two companies come out before to come out for a hydronic heater that seemingly no-one in the bay had knowledge to service. Over the phone, Gerald went over things that could have gone wrong and provided an in-depth analysis and even agreed to come out without a charge if nothing required work.

He arrived ontime, ready to work with equipment and tools in hand and with a courteous and professional attitude. He spent the next 45 minutes diagnosing the air heater and running me through all the things that could go wrong. In the end, he flushed the system and provided an honest opinion that the air handler was working correctly, just that the water heater temperature had to be raised in order to generate hotter air.

Gerald was honest, knowledgeable and provided possible next steps to improving heating performance. He stayed true to his word and did not bill me as nothing needed immediate replacement. (I still tipped to cover his time and gas). Should something go wrong with my heater in the future, California Plumbing & Radiant Heating will be the first people I call!

I have used their services a few times. The last two times I have been very disappointed. Our most recent experience was the worst. We did not receive an estimate for the work that needed to be done. The plumber said he only charged us for 4 hours instead of the five he said he was there. He was only working on our project for three hours. When I called to question the invoice I was told that the person had to check with the plumber and I would receive a call the next day. Three weeks later I received an invoice in the mail with a 10% discount. This was the best they could do. I called and spoke to the same person I did the last time and she could not provide me with a reason we did not receive and estimate nor address the time issue. I do not recommend using their service. We will never use it again. .
