Best Our Sump Pump Installation in New York NY
We had an emergency leak in our bathroom leaking into our boiler room. I called Rite Plumbing and Heating and they sent a plumber to my house within 30 minutes. Ari, the plumber arrived on time, and carefully checked our bathroom and soon found what the leak was. The next day, Ari arrived on time again with the right equipment and fixed the leak! Ari also cleaned up the mess after.
We were happy to have such a punctual and professional plumber! We will definitely call Rite Plumbing & Heating again if we have any more plumbing problems!

I had a leak coming in from the kitchen/dining room ceiling; leak was coming from the bathroom upstairs. Roto Rooter came. Said they would have to break open the ceiling before figuring out how much it would cost to repair, which I was ok with. This cost me $300 to find the problem which would be included in the payment if I decided to go ahead with the Repair. Made 2 holes in the ceiling and determined where the leak was coming from. Service rep Andrew (2381) said it's somewhere under the sink, and I would need to get a general contractor to remove the sink/vanity before they could remove the floor and fix the leak.To me, the leak didn't seem to be from under the sink, So I had say, let's use a measuring tape and see where leak could be. We measured downstairs, then went up to see where exactly the leak was. And we determined it was not under the sink but behind the toilet and we didn't need to take out the vanity and rip the floor. He had to remove the toilet and break my tile and then found a leak in a tee feeding hot water to sink. He removed the tee and approx. 3 feet of brass pipe on both the cold and hot water side. Price he gave me was $925+ Tax. So expensive, but I just didn't want to deal with the leak and just said go ahead.Pros: Came in the evening, around 7 pm. Found the leak around 8 pm and fixed the problem by 10 pm.Eventually found the leak and fixed it.Upfront about the price. There was a $40 discount coupon on their website that I was able to use, so ended up paying about $960.Cons: Ways too expensive!!Didn't like the fact that I had to suggest measuring where the leak could be, as he initially had it wrong and suggested I have someone take out the sink, which would have cost me more time and money, and would have been a waste.

I want to commend Plumbing NYC for its excellent service, especially for its communication skills. My water heater broke down and leaked. They fixed the leak and installed a new water heater.

He was so professional and he worked very quickly but efficiently. He explained everything he did in my kitchen with the pipe repair and the bathroom with clearing the stopped up sink and tub.

Awfu. - most egregious was doubling cost of work v other bids by 1) insisted on breaking open wall even though plumbing was exposed, 2) tried to charge for permits not needed, 3) Took multiple visits to get correct description of work & then sent email to coop misstating specifics to cut corners - then blamed me!!! Replacing existing kitchen appliances can't be that difficult.
Glad I got more bids.
FSPH was our building plumber & turns out they didn't look past immediate leak to evaluate rest of pipe - which subsequently broke & reflooded a bathroom

They were very responsive from the start and communicative throughout the process. I had several issues I needed to fix for a subletter from long distance, and they kept me informed throughout, and got everything taken care of the next day.

Is this still a functioning company? I'm confused. 2 days in a row, I call them, get a timeslot. Two days in a row, 2 hours late, no courtesy call. I call them back. 'We will be right there'. An hour later I call back, annoyed. Again no courtesy call stating they will be late. 'We will be right there'. Another hour passes. No show.
On the first day, they finally showed up, 6 hours late, not one courtesy call. The dude forgot his tools, oops. Seriously? We schedule an appointment for tomorrow between 9am-12pm.
Tomorrow rolls around. 1pm and no show, no courtesy call. 'Is it ok if we come at 4pm?' Me, annoyed as hell. 'Sure'. 4pm, no show and no call. 'We will be right there.' They LITERALLY, NEVER SHOWED UP AND NEVER CALLED, ONE TIME. COMPLETE NO SHOW. Never seen it in my life. Not even a call to state that they will no show. We literally sat around all day waiting, they completely wasted our time.
Why is there not an option for 0 stars? This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and that is saying A LOT.
