Update - After a few mishaps in scheduling, Tim called me and explained why his team wasn't able to come out as scheduled. Tim made a promise that he would personally come out and fix my leaking sprinkler pipe and he kept his word. Leak was fixed as promised and the pricing was very reasonable. They were quick to respond and got my toilet unclogged very easily. It was my first time using them and did find the service price a bit too high. In an emergency with no options, Roto Rooter can get the job done however if it’s not urgent, a local plumber can provide more competitive pricing.

Had the plumber come out to see the job and was here for 20 minutes to tell me he can't do it that I needed a main water company, and charged me a full hour service for doing nothing. $271 for telling me he cant do the job. Wow very disappointing wouldn't recommend after this!

I had a great experience with Boris Mechanical. I arrived at work on Sunday morning (February, 2015) to find an inch of water covering our floor. I called and a live person answered the phone. They were able to send a technician over in about an hour (pretty good for a Sunday!). The technician was very nice and efficient. The water had already covered a large area of our basement and was seeping out from underneath walls in multiple places. He diagnosed our problem very quickly (a busted and leaking water heater), but still completed a thorough inspection of the building to confirm. He was extremely patient with me, even when I was not exactly sure where the shut off for the main water line was. (He found it!) The technician removed the water, picked up and installed the new water heater and tested it to make sure it was working all within the same day. The building I work in is a Landmark building, so we were extremely grateful for Boris Mechanical's professionalism and efficiency. If the problem had not been resolved so quickly, we could have had a lot of structural issues and water damage. I definitely recommend this company.

I contacted because my water heater had stopped heating and I needed plumbing repair. Plumber came over and looked at it, adjusting one component. When he came the next day with the new part, he replaced it. My water heater was back up and running in a matter of hours.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. After booking an appointment over a week ago they were supposed to come to help to see if I had a leak in my apartment. They gave me a window of between 10-2pm so I had to take off from work. At around 10:45 I called to get a better estimate of when they thought they would come. I was put on hold and then told that their regular building clients come first and they wouldn’t be able to come today nor would they be able to come for the rest of the week. I explained that I booked it over a week before and was a paying customer and that no one had bothered to call to tell me this. I was losing a day at work to sit at home and wait for them and they didn’t have the courtesy to call and tell me they couldn’t come. Awful company. Stay away.

They stand behind the work they do 100%. If you have a issue afterwards they repair it for free.
