Tim the plumber ,completely replaced the old expensive toilet with a less expensive Kohler one. He was responsive, on time, and did a clean job.

We hired these guys for an emergency situation and they were impressive. I called and they had someone out inspecting the job immediately. We were able to complete a large emergency job by the end of the day.

He arrived on time, dressed professionally, was courteous, and was intent on ensuring he understood our problem and repaired it in the quickest, least expensive way possible. He kept us apprised of everything he observed along the course and recommended the most effective cure. After assessing the likely source of the water backup, he suggested that it would be in the best interest to start with a scope to identify if the issue was a blockage or something else. The scope is significantly less expensive than a cable. In addition, he stated that he clears the majority of blockages with the camera, avoiding him from charging more for a Rooter cable. In addition, he warned that if the camera locates the obstruction but is unable to clear it, he will not charge for the camera effort and will only charge for the cable work.

I came upon HBNY Plumbing & Heating's website on Google after the plumbing company I had an appointment with today cancelled for the second time. I spoke with Harry personally and he gave me an appointment for this evening. He came on time and he explained everything about the new Local 152 inspections.
He explained the report he would be filing and gave me pointers on what I can do to protect my gas lines.
The fact that he made an appointment the same day I called, the price was reasonable, he was on time, and explained everything, made me feel more at ease with the process.

Ryan is now serving in that role. He was very accommodating to our requests and questions. Polite and competent best describe him. The mess was cleared out once he finished.

I hired RXP based on reviews online. They showed up at the agreed time. The technician who came asked to understand the issue I was having. Gave me options and started working on it, he made sure that I fully understand everything he was doing. Work is clean, professional, cleaned up after themselves, pleasant to chat with and explained the work. I'd use RXP again for sure.

My kitchen faucet is leaking so we scheduled an appointment with Watson. The next available appointment they had that fit with our availability was a week away from 8-11am. So fast-forward to 8/17, the day of the appointment...we received a call in the morning to confirm that the plumber would arrive between 8-11am; which was great! That was a good sign for us that this company had their business in order.

Come 11am, the plumber still hasn't arrived, no call and no updates, just didn't show. So we waited on hold with Watson, and was told that the plumber got caught up with another job and that is why he is late, but should be at my apartment before noon. -- Now this is a common excuse given by many repair companies, I know this because I used to work at a repair company call desk, and that is the excuse that we were told to use consistently. Even if I don't go off of that, it is still a little odd to us that our estimate was from 8-11am, yet there was a job scheduled before ours???

So, 12:18pm came, and still no plumber.

At this point we needed to get on with our day and they were way past their estimate. So we rescheduled the appointment to today with the same estimate between 8-11am. Everyone should have a second chance right?

So, here I am, the day of the rescheduled appointment. This morning there was no confirmation call so we called in to verify that someone was coming. We received confirmation after calling in and so the waiting started again.

Around 9am we were told that the technician was running into traffic in the 70s and should arrive within 30mins. Then around 9:35am we received another update that the technician was still on the way and should arrive in 30mins......ok. Then at 9:45am I was asked for photos of my faucet and told that the technician should arrive shortly. At 10:45am, still no technician and no call. At this point we call in and get told that the technician probably won't make it till after 11am, possibly after 11:30am.

So, appointment cancelled. That was their second chance. If you actually want a job done, then you may want to stay clear of a company who doesn't show up..........twice.
