We called in A&E NYC plumbing for a water heater repair. The techs showed up on time and were very professional. They repaired the water heater on the same day, so we did not have to go without hot water for a day. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

My old toilet tank completely cracked and water was leaking out of the tank. I wanted to completely replace the whole toilet instead of waiting 2 days to replace the old tank. Tim the plumber ,completely replaced the old expensive toilet with a less expensive Kohler one. He was responsive, on time, and did a clean job.

The plumber was very prompt, knowledgeable, and competent and took care of the problem. I highly recommend them!

A little annoyed that the part that was needed wasn't in their inventory and not available at any stores, but such is life when it comes to plumbing. The plumber + apprentice were knowledgeable and identified the issue rapidly. Upon return from trying to acquire the part, they re-assembled the toilet and got it back to working order. Travel time was capped and I was billed only for the initial hour.

While I'm not super eager to have to pay for another visit, I'll be very happy to use these guys again and to recommend their services.

Fast and reliable

We had a pretty big emergency this morning when raw sewage started spewing out of pipe located on the side of the house. Since I have insurance for water and sewer I immediately called the insurance company. They recommended a company that refused to even come to look at what could be done because the main clean out is in the crawl space under the house. They said I needed to hire a contractor to cut a hole in the floor of my family room or hire a licensed plumber to dig up the alley way, make a hole in my foundation and install a “clean out” to the outside of the house. The insurance company then put Harris in contact with me. I explained the problem to their technician Shane and he said he would be here in 30 minutes. Shane knew just what to do to do to fix the problem without having to go into the crawl space. I can’t express enough how grateful I am that they were able to correct the problem without any damage to the house or property.

Is the worse experience I ever had with a plumbing company I'm still waiting for them to finish what they started.

It was much more competitive than other quotes I had so we picked his company. The work was done fast, cleanly and on budget, which I sure can't say for every plumber I've used over the years. I would happily recommend Harry and HBNY to anyone dealing with 152 issues or just generally if you need a good, responsive and affordable plumber.

We called this company to fix a clogged main drain, and the plumber came out the same day we called. They were prompt with their arrival and pleasant company overall. The prices were fair, and we received prompt assistance the same day we called. I'm 100% behind them.

NYC Emergency Plumber & Sewer arrived, found the obstruction in my floor drain, and scoped the pipes to check that everything was in working condition. They were wonderful to work with and quite professional. They are excellent, and I would employ them again.

This company bills more hours than they actually work. I was billed for 5 hours of work when less than 1 hour was performed. They claimed travel time and waiting for the steam system to cool down. Their office is within 2 blocks of my building and they arrived at 9am, so unless they arrived at the building at 5 am, they didn't wait for anything to cool down.

Worst customer service in the plumbing business. Contacted them regarding a boiler issue and the secretary that answered the phone was short and didn't allow me to finish what I was saying before she hung up on me. I called back and she made an excuse that she was on 3 other calls and that they were not available for appointments in the next 2 weeks. Take my advice, don't waste your time calling them. Such a big company, with all these pics posted of their vans, equipment and front of the business but they can't handle call volume or customers.

I've used Kew Forest twice this past year. Once for the installation of a water heater in my commercial building in Astoria and for a relay in my personal home. While Kew Forest might be a little more expensive than others, their service and expertise is, in my opinion, among the best! The only reason that I didn't give them five stars, and believe me, the only reason, is because I had a recent question about my last bill. I called their office and explained the reason for my call to the lovely receptionist who assured me of a timely response from one of the principals. I never received that call! Perhaps I'm a little jaded, but as a retired owner of a successful software company, I made such an inquiry from my valuable customers a priority! Perhaps this was only an oversight, and I will treat it as such. I plan on continuing to do business with Kew Forest in the future.
