Best Emergency Service Call in New York NY

I loved HUB plumbing. We have now used them twice (to fix our radiators and to remove our cooking gas lines). I have been very happy with their service both times; John has been really responsive to emails and he and his staff always seemed very competent and (unlike other contractors I've encountered in New York) always doing things according to code. His prices are slightly more expensive than other quotes we've gotten but absolutely worth it for the great service we've gotten and the peace of mind that we can be sure the work is done right.

Tech Richard was professional and polite and got to the source and flushed out our sewer problems. We highly recommend service in the future

They were on time and super professional, and came out to repair my kitchen sink during the snow storm. They follow the COVID 19 guidelines and I felt super safe. They did an amazing job, and I will definitely be using them in the future!

Update 1/21- Unrivaled professionalism. They are super reliable and came through for me again! I called them at 10 PM for a different repair and they were here within 5 minutes. My issue was repaired within the hour. They are definitely my go to now.

The best service ever!! I needed to find a plumber because our toilet and tub were clogged. Because of the weather, another company was trying to get me scheduled four days in advance. When I called this company at 7 o'clock in the evening, I was told that someone could be at my house as early as 9 o'clock the following morning. The serviceman who came out, Jose, did a fantastic job. I'm relieved it was fixed. If I ever have another plumbing problem, I will not hesitate to call again. Everyone I dealt with, from the scheduling agent on the phone to the technician who came to our home, exceeded my expectations.

I had work done on my home and I was so impressed with their work, customer service and prices. I highly recommend them for any plumbing work. Honest people and honest about what work needs to be done. If you want the job done right use them!

Roto Rooter was extremely responsive. I called in the middle of the night and a technician was here in the morning. The technician, Christian, immediately saw what the problem was and fixed it, communicating to both me and the tenant the full details. And he was able to answer a completely different plumbing question, which really was a one off, but he knew exactly what I was talking about and confirmed specs I didn’t even give him. I certainly would use him again whenever I contact Roto Rooter!

I live in Kips Bay and I was glad to be able to find a plumber that was in the neighborhood (and not coming from Brooklyn or Jersey like so many others do). Really fast response time (in my case it was within 30 minutes!), and the rates were reasonable. Thank you!

My leaking bathtub was on the second story. Initially, I tried getting a quote from a different plumbing business, but their charges were outrageous. Next, I gave NYC Plumbing a call. Brooke identified the problem and repaired it quickly afterward. The price was one-fifth of what was estimated by a rival firm. According to me, Brooke performed a very good job fixing the problem. I appreciate that greatly, Brooke.

I had never used Plumbing and Drain Cleaning before. My interactions with the in-charge tech and the office staff. was amazing. It was extremely cosy. I'll use them moving forward and suggest them to others as well.

My kitchen faucet is leaking so we scheduled an appointment with Watson. The next available appointment they had that fit with our availability was a week away from 8-11am. So fast-forward to 8/17, the day of the appointment...we received a call in the morning to confirm that the plumber would arrive between 8-11am; which was great! That was a good sign for us that this company had their business in order.

Come 11am, the plumber still hasn't arrived, no call and no updates, just didn't show. So we waited on hold with Watson, and was told that the plumber got caught up with another job and that is why he is late, but should be at my apartment before noon. -- Now this is a common excuse given by many repair companies, I know this because I used to work at a repair company call desk, and that is the excuse that we were told to use consistently. Even if I don't go off of that, it is still a little odd to us that our estimate was from 8-11am, yet there was a job scheduled before ours???

So, 12:18pm came, and still no plumber.

At this point we needed to get on with our day and they were way past their estimate. So we rescheduled the appointment to today with the same estimate between 8-11am. Everyone should have a second chance right?

So, here I am, the day of the rescheduled appointment. This morning there was no confirmation call so we called in to verify that someone was coming. We received confirmation after calling in and so the waiting started again.

Around 9am we were told that the technician was running into traffic in the 70s and should arrive within 30mins. Then around 9:35am we received another update that the technician was still on the way and should arrive in 30mins......ok. Then at 9:45am I was asked for photos of my faucet and told that the technician should arrive shortly. At 10:45am, still no technician and no call. At this point we call in and get told that the technician probably won't make it till after 11am, possibly after 11:30am.

So, appointment cancelled. That was their second chance. If you actually want a job done, then you may want to stay clear of a company who doesn't show up..........twice.

I'm a plumber in California and know this family so well I would send them to my grandma's house, if you call them say Jeff da Plumber sent you !!!

Very easy to schedule and plumbers arrived on time with good notice during the time scheduled. Once here, they were great and quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue with the boiler. After other poor experiences, I was very relieved to have things go so smoothly.
