They called at 1:00pm, said they were on their way, and AC was up and running by 1:45. Someone else had already come out to work on it before and charged me 385, and didnt fix the problem. Very reasonable and fast. They're in my book as first ones to call. Thank you so much.

Called jds to take a look at my ac. I have used them for 15 years. Had a guy come look and tell me the filter that I was using was to thick and was a pound low on coolant ok so he changed it and pot more coolant in. This didnt fix the problem at all called them back out the next day to find out the coils were dirty and they want to charge me 1200 on top of the 300 I already spent for them to fix the problem. Called around and everyone else charges from 6 to 750 on the same problem and they never even tried to make it right with the money I already paid them to fix the problem. CALL AROUND GET QUOTES FONT USE JDS THEY WILL SCREW YOU IF THEY GET THE CHANCE.

I called for an estimate over the phone. The woman gave me a price rage. I decided not to use them because I found someone cheaper. I did not make an appointment for them to come to the house or anything! They billed me for the job!!! They did not come out to the house and do the work!!

What an amazing company!!! Late morning call during record setting heat about our water heater going out and we had a new one heating water before 5:30pm!!!! Houston Mechanical Service responded quickly. Most importantly, they did not charge a $320.00 fee (like one Lubbock company wanted to do) for having to drive 80 miles roundtrip to service an aging AC unit. Randy was personable, nice, and helpful. Most importantly he understands that most people just do not have tons of money standing by for repairs or replacements. Knock on wood the AC has been working perfectly since he serviced it in early summer. He got the job done and got us through this summer. I highly recommend this company!

Replace both of our hvac units, left a mess everywhere, left insulation all over clothed and closet, even after being called back out 3 times. Never have received the paperwork or warranty information on the units. Everyone that came out to the house were nice and cordial. The owner or co-owner that originally made the sale would not answer calls at all. I would not use this company again. The units worked as intended.
