Larry came out and was very professional came in handled my clogged toilet quickly and also looked at other drains to make sure everything was working correctly, they were in and out in about 1 hour which was quick. He gave me the information I needed to possibly fix bigger plumbing issues in the future and was very professional and also friendly. I will defiinitely recommend them and use them for all my plumbing needs.

Patrick was at our house in less than 20 minutes (on a Sunday, no less) and replaced the faulty AC part in a flash. Prompt, courteous, & efficient. No better service anywhere.

I am sad I am having to post this review after seeing such great reviews. To begin with, I contacted Lowery plumbing as they offered 24/7 service, holidays and weekends. I called at 9pm on Labor Day and was able to speak with a dispatcher. She informed me that a service technician would give me a call. About 20 minutes later a gentleman did give me a call although the conversation I had with him was not professional at all. I could tell by his voice that he was either intoxicated or on some type of drug. With it being Labor Day I kind of figured he had been partying as you could hear a lot of commotion in the background. He mentioned that I would be contacted about 8am the next morning (Tuesday). That kind of defeated the purpose of a 24/7 company right? After 9am the next day, I had to reach out to see if I was going to have a tech come out. Still no response. At 10am or so I get a call from a lady at Lowery asking if I still needed a tech. I answered yes and she immediately asked for credit/debit card information to store for payment even though a tech had not even been to my house. I was promised that a tech would be sent to my house no later than morning time. I am writing this review at 12 noon. Very disappointed. I am pleased to say I called Rowe Plumbing and they were very professional and a tech has been scheduled for 4pm. Please avoid stress in your already stressful plumbing/HVAC problems.

Jeff Eade was my Service tech for Lowery and he was on time and very professional. He was very knowledgeable about my problem with my sewer main line and fixed it fast. I had some other questions about my shower valve that was messing up and he knew exactly what the fix was and walked me through fixing it. I had a small rock jammed in the water line that wasn’t allowing the valve to close and he helped me get it fixed and didn’t try to sell me a bunch of stuff or service that I didn’t need. I will call these folks for all my plumbing needs!

I've always heard if you use Lowery Plumbing they fix the problem BUT there is always another thing to fix. we had a capacitor replaced on our AC unit. they replaced that ,BUT then the tech said our fan motor wasn't working. (the another thing) I told him it was working a few minutes ago and he said well it isn't now. I went inside and turned the AC on at the thermostat and low and behold the fan is working. The tech was angry and threw the old capacitor in his truck and said NO CHARGE. I got a call the next day about the amount we owed. I said the tech said No Charge . I did expect to pay something but was surprised to hear the amount. I said I wanted to come in and speak to the manager and the lady said well you will be talking to me. She was not the manager. She was very rude on the phone. I went to the office and got no help there. I paid the bill and left. I felt Lowery takes advantage of my wife & I , Two senior citizens.
The AC has been working fine in all this hot weather.

We got a system from lowreys through Costco, we have had it for two years. We spent around 17k for a top of the line energy saver unit from Lennox. So after our electric Bill being outrageous every month and getting a new unit we figured it couldn't be the a/c heat pump.this past winter were getting 600 dollar to 1k dollar monthly Bill's. So come to find out the zoning system has some missing part and the unit was using the auxiliary emergency heat. When we called and complained about having high electric payments because of not having the right parts installed correctly the first time around, we get the run around that Lennox was to blame because they didnt tell lowreys that the unit needed said parts. And lowreys wasn't going to do anything. But mabey Lennox would. And we have not heard anything back for at least a month now.

My husband called Lowery on Saturday when we found out we had a water leak. The tech came out looked at the job and said he would try to get to it that day (which we were very surprised by) because he said it would be a couple hour job. He did tell us since it was the weekend it may be Monday and we completely understood. Monday no one showed so we called, and they informed us that the tech had misspoke and they had us down for Tuesday. Tuesday morning my husband called to confirm, and they informed us we would be taken care of Tuesday afternoon. Today no one showed so I called, and she informed me we were on the books for Wednesday, I explained we confirm the morning, and it was supposed to be today. She then informed me that it wasn't grantee that we would receive help Wednesday either because it was such a big job. At this point I am beyond frustrated that I keep getting the run around. I told her I would not give my money to a company who isn't true to their word or shows up when I was told they would be there.

I am in the industry for referrals in this line of business so I like trying new vendors to add to my list, but this will not be one of them. Terrible company.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with this company. They sold us a high dollar air conditioner a few years back and installed it. Sold us their 'service plan' which is just them coming out every 6 months and changing the filter and making sure that new a/c unit is still there. We got 2 services maybe and then they stopped scheduling them. Then we had to start calling and begging for the service appointments we already paid for. Should of gotten our last one this morning and after I pulled everything out of that closet to make it easy for them, they called and cancelled. THIS COMPANY CANNOT KEEP APPOINTMENTS. So good luck if you are taking time off work or anything.

The real rub though, for me, is they sold us this high dollar a/c unit and when I tried to change the filter myself, come to find out that I can't even find that size anywhere. Not at Lowes, Home Depot, Wal Mart, or anywhere. It's some rare size and when I called them to ask what I should do, they told me they would sell me one. Great. So I loaded up and drove to their shop out in the boonies and asked to buy one. Waited in the front office for probably an hour to ultimately find out that no, they actually don't have one. Clean out. Hard filter to find.

This company is good at selling, and bad at everything else. Avoid them.

Mr. Albert Champion was prompt and professional. He fixed my elderly parents plumbing issues. He was polite and he did an excellent job.

Jake came out to replace a leaking spigot in my backyard. Was professional and friendly, had the job done in no time at all. Will use them again should I need to.

I had them come out and fix my AC last summer. The guy came out fixed it and 34 days later the it broke down again. He didn't want me out there while he worked didn't really answer my questions and told me it was only guaranteed for 30 days. Lo and behold 34 days later it broke down again, called them again and this time I got a different tech. He was much better and explained what had happened. Later while speaking with someone who knew AC repair, they told me the first guy should have caught the issue that broke it the second time when he fixed it the first time. It was something that he knew would create more business for them. I would have given them only 1 star but as the second tech was so much nicer and didn't charge me I gave the company 2 stars. Will not be calling them again.

Paid $49.50 for a service call to not repair or unclog our tub. Had to wait 3 more days for a courtesy camera that normally would cost $225 and was told would probably have to pay$225 for a jeting!!! So I called Phil Kerr and they came out same day and and fixed the issue in less than an hour for $105.THANKS PHIL KERR!!

My AC was out, it was burning hot, 7 o’clock at night. Called Lowery, Unit was repaired by 8 o’clock. At no extra charge. I couldn’t believe it. Philip even helped take a Baby crib upstairs to the attic. Exceptional service

Called around noon on a Saturday and spoke to a dispatcher or service. Got a call back from plumber within 10-15 minutes who said he would head my way soon. Then 5-10 minutes later the dispatcher called me back to verify that a plumber had been in touch. Within 30 minutes there was a truck at my house and within another 30 minutes my drains and toilets were all working. 5 stars in my book. Highly recommended.

We called Lowerys because our builder told us they were affordable and awesome. Within an hr they were at our house fixing the AC. They were quick and extremely knowledgeable. Our technician Phillip was just phenomenal. Such a nice guy. Seeing as this was the 3rd company to come take a look and the only one we liked and actually knew what he was doing I'd recommend them without a doubt!

Received two calls to make sure I'd been contacted by the on-call plumber, showed up quickly (considering it was an emergency on a Sunday morning), plumber was courteous and kind, diagnosed problem quickly. I plan to hire them again.

Called to make appt for 3/5 to look at toilet tank not filling. Came on time and were polite and fixed that quickly. After returning home 2 hours later, water would trickle into the bowl and and continued to run. The next morning it continued to do this and I called Lowery again to see if the guys could come back and address that. At that time I was told that there will be another $49 fee to look at it and that the guys might be able to wave that fee. I replaced the flapper myself since it looked worn and shortened the water line to the overflow so the lever wouldn’t catch on it. Lowery failed to do those simple things that would have taken a few minutes longer. Instead of feeling taken care of, there’s a feeling of taken advantage of.

Like most drain stoppages it seems to always happen on the weekend and because we live in Brownfield we don’t have any weekend or emergency plumbers here. This one happened on Saturday after 5 that evening when we had both bathrooms stopped up and soon the kitchen followed as well. Called because they offer the emergency service and I like the fact no overtime or weekend higher charge. After calling Greg called me back and because of other service calls he would be out the next day. He was and was very polite listening to the concerns we were having with our plumbing system and went to work and got the job done. Even stayed and made sure everything was running like it should. Thanks Greg and thanks Lowery Plumbing for coming to our rescue.

Lowery replaced my duct work in my house. It was finished in one day! I am very satisfied with their work.

Worst place ever call lowery plumbing on a Saturday technician came out here looked at the problem said they weren't going to be able to come out here till Monday I called Monday morning cuz I hadn't received a phone call they told me they're going to send a technician out in the afternoon by the evening time nobody had arrived I called 10 minutes before 7 to have somebody call me back to tell me that they were not going to be able to come over here till Thursday let me remind you I'm sitting without water since Saturday Sunday Monday and here we are Tuesday I finally get somebody to come out here NOT from Lowery Plumbing to come to my house to install a cartridge on my shower that took about 32 minutes to put on and he charged me $40 all of this when Lowery Plumbing could have fixed it Saturday and I would have not been without water for the four days I also have a disabled daughter who lives here that's grown and needs to take a bath on a daily basis and I did explain it to them I'm also sick with gastroparesis and need my shower and explain it to them very clearly they had no remorse whatsoever and all I got on Tuesday when I filed a complaint or call to make a complaint was a I'm sorry and we wrote it down a bunch of sarcasm from this company I will not will not will not ever call you again and I will post this on Facebook and as many places as I can will not recommend you to anybody thank you for nothing that you did

Yes, the people are nice enough but really the guys that came out and did the job left a big hole in my bathroom floor, not really what I expected for what we paid!! Learned my lesson and will never call them again.

Requested a mainline clear and camera view.
Paid for a mainline clear and camera view, $125.
Received a mainline clear, previous day quote of $60 ish...but was was told the camera was unavailable until the next week. Called and was then refused the camera view AND refused the refund of the balance. They explained that, because we had received a quote for a mainline replacement, including a camera view, 2 years ago.... they would not send the camera and that if we wanted a camera view we would have to pay another $125. 2 years ago I received a quote for $15k for quite a bit of work... and a $60 unclog... they ran the camera then to assess for their quote. I guess I'm paying for that camera 2 years later... haha...

We have used Lowery’s for several years with their Heating & Air services as well as plumbing issues..We highly recommend them. Yesterday we had our 4 heating & air units serviced by Patrick, an employee of Lowery’s, and were very pleased with his work.. He was very efficient and knowledgeable.

Lowery has installed my high efficiency air conditioning system, which is keeping my electric bill way low!! In addition, they also replaced all the plumbing under my house, without busting up all of my floors! They aren't always the cheapest, but they are definitely the best. Needless to say, I love them and will continue to use them!!

I had lowery out Saturday to fix a busted pipe. When pipe was replaced the plumber didn't even turn the water back on. I went to insulate pipe on Sunday and noticed a small leak of said pipe called with no answer called Monday was told someone would be out ....Noone ever came!! Called Tuesday no one ever came !!! Now it's Wednesday and im leaving this review we shall see what happens now....
I paid $250.00 to still have a leaky pipe. Very unsatisfied customer.

Appreciate weekend service at regular rate and prompt response by Greg. We had a leak in the sprinkler system control in the alley. Greg showed us the problem and said we need a sprinkler rep airman, but he shut off the water to that system. Greg was very nice and very professional.

I was told not to use them again because I questioned my bill after being double charged for outside sewer drain clogged, the tree roots are responsible and I have never received an estimate or plan of repair from this company, also have only called them out twice this year for service, very rude and unprofessional

I am very pleased with the work Lowery Plumbing did for me. After having a ton of trouble with a drain, Lowery came out the same day and unclogged a tub within a few minutes. Very professional and friendly service. Definitely recommending there services to my friends and family.

I called Lowry on a Friday afternoon because my a/c was not going below 80. The receptionist gave the tech the wrong number but thankfully he stopped by my home anyway to try and resolve. He looked at the exterior unit and checked voltage and looked at the filter on the interior unit and told me my issue was in sealing the return air at the unit a $300 job. I thought over the weekend and called to schedule it the following week which included me removing my hot water heater so they did not charge me a quoted 400-500 for that task as well to access the needed area. On the day of the service the tech called me after arriving at my home and stated he had changed his mind and now felt it was a bent pipe from the outside unit. I asked for the quote to repair that and was told there wasn’t a repair for that and he would have a manager come out to quote replacing the outside unit. The manager reached out later and gave me a quote for a whole new system topping 10K. Since we went from a $300 job to a 10K job I decided to get a second opinion. The second company came out and opened up both the interior and exterior units checked all pressures and items and discovered the exterior unit was low on Freon and while the exterior coils were clean when they split the coils and looked that they needed to be cleaned. Now a month later and the unit is still running great with no issues.

Moral of the story: if you want a fast response I recommend Lowry. But if you want a thorough job call someone else. I can’t believe I almost handed over 10K when it needed $175 worth of work.

A totally professional operation from beginning to end. An excellent engineer planned the project, a superior crew worked the job and the office responded to any challenges. Friendly folks worked the job quickly and left the property looking super. You can use these folks with great assurance that the job will be done right.

In 102 degree heat late on a Saturday, our air conditioner quit. We called Lowery, got the answering service and figured we were in for a miserable weekend. Within minutes Carlos called us, and said as soon as he finished the job he was on, he would be here, and he was!!!! Seriously, folks within 2 hours he had been here, and our unit was working again! The repair cost was reasonable, too! Far less than I expected, and within the quoted estimate given over the phone.

I had a leak in my plumbing and Blake came out did an awesome job. Great job and knowledgeable plumber. I would recommend this company and Blake to all my friends.

Had an AC issue. Lowerys’ techs came out after hours and fixed the problem. But more importantly explained why it occurred and gave advice on how to prevent it. Thank you for the professionalism, courtesy and prompt service.

AC went out on a hot, summer, Sunday . We called Lowery and they came out within an hour, replaced the furnace in the attic and did an excellent job. We’ve had no problems at all since it was completed. The men were efficient, mannerly, and explained everything they were doing. They had to remove the wood around the attic opening because the furnace could not fit through it . They replaced the wood, painted it to match the already existing trim and cleaned up after the job. They also hauled away the old furnace . We’ve used this company for cleaning and checking our AC and heating for about 13 years and would never think of calling anyone else. They check our filters and replace them with new ones, check the indoor and outdoor units and clean them semi annually. The office calls us to schedule these visits in case we forget that it’s time to do it. We appreciate their personal interest . Mr. Lowery has a fine business and good employees.

They replaced my A/c within two days so good quick service but now they won’t return my calls because it still won’t kick on. Will never use them again.

Justin was easy to talk to, polite, careful, neat. It was a real pleasure having him on the job of removing, cleaning and replacing the blower cylinder in my mini split unit, It was so filthy that it was blowing out bits of black filth, Thank you Justin.

Brandon serviced my AC/Heating unit for its 6 month service check. He was efficient, polite, and friendly and did a great job. Appointment was easy to book. Lowrey’s is always reliable and comes in clutch when you need them.

BEWARE!! This company took advantage of my widowed mother. The person who sold her the system and installed it told her that the system included a 10 year warranty and maintenance plan that included filters and changes. This was a huge relief and the company was supposed to call her to schedule the promised maintenance- this never happened. She recently had an issue with the system and called to have the system looked at (10 year warranty and all). Now the company claims they have no record of the maintenance plan and are charging her an outrageous fee to change a filter- remember the 10 years of included filters and maintenance?
On top of this- the receptionist was extremely rude to my poor mom. After the year that we all had last year- a bit of grace and kindness goes a long way- do not do business with these people.

It was very nice of Lowery to come out and look at my AC unit at the weekend...or so I thought. With one quick look at the AC unit, I was told that the unit was so old (1990s) that the replacement parts are so scarce and ridiculously expensive. I was quoted $1,000-1,200 for the repair. I was told that they highly recommended replacing the entire unit. Two different companies came out to look at the unit over the next few days: a friend, and the guy contracting with the insurance company who eventually fixed it (the parts cost just $300 from the supply store in town). Interestingly, when I told them that Lowery had come out to look at it, they both knew what Lowery would have recommended: replace the unit. Apparently, Lowery takes a nice commission from every new unit they sell. Get a second opinion before using this company, if you have to use them at all! P.S. Lowery didn't even take the time to check the refrigerant, which was empty...I wonder what I would have been charged to replace that - another $1,000?

Do not call them for air conditioning repair. I wasted my money and they didn’t do anything. We sat here all weekend with no air conditioner called my regular guy and he got it fixed within 30 minutes. All it was was a loose wire and control board They wanted to charge me and arm and a leg to clean it or replace it. Do not use this company.

Great People Great Service

Very Overpriced! Even though, they claimed they did not charge the overtime fee. This is the reason I called them during the weekend. Their normal charge is VERY HIGH!

One of the technicians came by Sunday noon and diagnose the sometimes did not run issue. They charged $345.5 ($49.5 service call + ~ $296 parts and labor) for replacing a $20 capacitor in 5 minutes. (I still did not have a receipt for this work after making the payment with a check.) The technician just installed it and told me the cost. I used to think the capacitor was expensive and did not realize it until one of my friends told me he spent <$300 for recharging the coolant, cleaning the coil, and replacing the capacitor (together). If you google, the average service cost is $170 and the capacitor cost is $20 (even lower).

I had communicated (called) with the company (a manager) about my concern and was told it is a normal charge for replacing a capacitor. If it is a normal price, I would stay away from this company.

They also refused to give me an itemized receipt like repairing a car. Repairing a car was expensive but has very clear info on how you spent your money. I understood everything is expensive right now, but should not be at such a high cost! I learned a lesson that I should ask for the price earlier (before they are installing something to your device), ask for more questions, and do more homework (read others' reviews first).

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I just want to share my feelings about my experience. You have a price on your documentation. We (the customer) know nothing about that. If I knew the cost, I would not do it. The $49.5 service call fee is also not clear, since the website says $49.50 is for drain unclog. Sorry, I did not know installing a $20 capacitor need to pay for such lots of items (including the meal LOL!). None of the customers can see your clear price.

Your restaurant example is not right! I gave another one! Think about your feelings that people goes to a restaurant and the waiter just brings a regular $20 ribeye steak in a restaurant without showing you the menu and then charges $350 in checking out. Maybe you don't care. I would care since I have no way to earn money in that way. Please note you did not let me know any cost before you installed the item! In another word, you did not show me the options. Just installed and asked for money. When you are installing anything for a customer, you should clearly let the customer know the cost.

The reasonable cost is pretty clear in today's informative life. My friend did the same thing for his rental house recently and told me I was charged too high. Then I asked some companies (none of them closed). It is a 5 mins installation. The cost is usually ranging from $120 to $200. The googled values (It is the total installation cost by professionals) are accurate. For the cost of a capacitor, the cost is even more clear from Homedepot, Amazon, and Lowe's. It is as low as $9. Some of them are about $20 dollars.

I am not saying your technician was not professional! They are good and desired to have good payment. But the service costs should be reasonably high rather than very high (to me ridiculous high for $350). Again, I should ask for the price when the tech installed something. It is a good lesson for me. I have paid you IN FULL (gave the check to tech). I did not ask you to honor others' prices and just asked you to give me an itmized the receipt to explain why it is so high. I still did not receive any receipt and warranty information. Should you send it to me? I actually called on Saturday evening, but the tech people cannot come. I knew how hot in that night. It magically ran in the morning. The tech comes at noon. I still accepted the service. Thanks for coming for the repair.

I set up an appointment 3 days in advance so I could make sure I could get off work early. They took my credit card info saying that would secure my appointment. On the day of the appointment, I called at 5 bc they had not arrived. The lady informed me they were on another job but I was on the schedule. At 7:45, I called again and was told he must be on another job but she would have him call me. 20min later she called to see if he had been in touch with me but he hadn’t. He never called nor showed up. The next day I called them to see what happened. She said he worked too late and since I had a later appointment they couldn’t get to me. She could not tell me why I was never notified. They also were not willing to work with my schedule since I had already taken off work the day before.

Charged $49.50 for someone to come out and tell me that the problem was the exact same problem I described on the phone. The plumber was there for about 2 minutes before saying he'd have to come back the next day with the right equipment to fix the issue, which I can only assume would have been another $49.50 + labor. I called Sinclair instead, and they came out and fixed the sink immediately.

So my 3 year old decided to throw something in my toilet and not say anything after 3 days trying to get it out I finally called Lowery. And I'm so glad I did, he was amazing and got it out in seconds. Will definitely be recommending this company to others!! Oh and very very affordable!!!

A technician named Carlos came out to our home because our Air conditioning unit was not working. He told us it was the capacitor but did not have the correct size so he placed one that would get us through the evening. ( temps were in the 100 that day). He said he would be back the next day to place the correct size. I paid the tech $365 dollars in cash to avoid the extra fees that he had said woukd occur if I used my debit card. The tech informed me he did not have receipts to give. But i could call the office for one in the morning. He never came by or called the next day. I have been calling for someone ro come by and place the correct one. Finally more than 2 weeks later a service tech shows up and takes an attitude with me saying that he's not going to deal with me, that I need to call the office . What terrible, terrible terrible service. I will be reporting this to the better business beureau. I felt extremely mortified by the service given by this company!!

This company is running scams on their clientele.

We had a clogged kitchen drain line in November of 2017. Upon not being able to fix it myself I called around to get quotes Lowery's was running a special for 49.99 great! They came out snaked the line and got it fixed and even offered a free camera service to find any other potential issues. This is where the problem started after doing the camera the representative stated that we had several issues that needed to be addressed the most urgent being a crack on our main line leading from the west side of the house. But refused to tell us any additional quotes our pricing gave us very little information about what was wrong. He stated that he would have another representative come out and give us a quote. The representative came on a Saturday and sat down with us initially the representative had no idea what the problems or issues were and asked a lot of questions about what we knew of the problem ( hint #1 that this was fishy) after explaining that we were just as much in the dark as he was. He went out to his car to talk to the technician and go over the notes. The entire time he was in our house he kept talking about my cars and how nice our home was he asked me about my work and what I did for a living. He then came back in our home after filling out his quote and laid about 5 different problems that the other representative didn't even mention. For just doing a sleeve on the crack for the mainline he quoted us at $7,000!!! To do all the work that he said needed to be done was going to cost us nearly $13,000.

After speaking with him I knew that something was up so I got a second opinion. Turns out there was actually no problem on our lines in our house at all. The Other Plumber stated that there was a crack but it was in the ally and was the city's responsibility to fix. He then proceeded to tell us that even if it was in the house doing a sleeve on a line like that would only cost at most $2,500. We're now out $130 for the second opinion. Honestly without my sales experience and knowing when someone is trying to pull one over on me I wouldn't have known that these guys were selling snake oil.

Albert was very helpful in fixing the drains in our house. He had them done in no time. Would definitely recommend him as well as the company!

Gas line repair

Took care of business. Didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t want. Cleaned up after install and hauled off old ac/heater system. Upgraded me to a better unit then a paid for at no extra cost. The company they buy their units from was out of parts for the unit I paid for. Lowery was on point and took care of business. Would recommend and will be using in the future. The technician JJ was professional and was knowledgeable of his job and duties.

Called for plumming issue. This is the second time a employee name Larry came out very unprofessional. Didn't introduce him self or anything. I had to ask his name? Last time he walked in without my consent. The other gentleman was very professional. That's 2 starts are for other worker.

Did a great job cleaning drains. HOWEVER,Started in laundry room and unhooked the washing machine to clean drain, BUT did not hook washer up again. Left hose laying on floor. First load of laundry today FLOODED the laundry room , kitchen, and into garage. Honest mistake and we will certainly use Lowery again. Just a “heads up” to technicians. We were last call on a hold weekend.

Don't let the 24/7 plumbing fool you. I called at 10:45 pm for an emergency service call. At 11:15 the call center called back asking if I had received a call from the plumbers. I answered I had not. At 12:15 I called back to get more information and they said that they could not page the plumbers after midnight and they would schedule something in the morning. It is now noon and I have not received a call although I was already able to go buy the parts myself now that the stores have opened and fixed it.

Beware of this scam artist. We called with a blockage & they said we needed $18,000 of plumbing repairs. Thank goodness we decided to get a second estimate. The 2nd plumber not only cleared the blockage easily, but also scoped the pipes confirming what my gut had already told me. Although I had to waste money paying 2 plumbers & take extra time off of work, at least I didn't take trust Lowery and pay out $$$ for unnecessary work.

Have called on them now twice. The gentleman were very helpful and got the job completed in good time.

Guys that came to the house on a very windy day, even for west Texas, started the job but stopped when needed to get on my roof because of the wind, so glad they did as I did not want them up there in that wind. Came back the next day and finished the job. The men were very nice and polite and got the job done with no problems We had our sewer line lined with the new liner and now we are good to go, Great job guys.

JJ and Yon did a great job installing a new indoor and outdoor unit and introducing me to the new thermostat!

Roger and JJ came out to install a new heating and air unit and worked impressively. The were punctual, cleaned up after themselves and were friendly.

I called for a free estimate on Monday and had my unit installed the next morning. Finance options are flexible and even though I didn't feel I could afford a new unit at this time they went out of their way to provide an option that was the best for me.

We spent nearly $20,000 with them about 3 years ago. I called today because we were having some issues with a mini-split they installed. I was told at the time they installed it that it had a warranty for a certain time period and was told something completely different today. Now they want to charge even more just to come out and check on it. I normally don't fill out reviews, but I felt like i needed to in this situation. We will not be using this company any more.

I called Lowery Plumbing after hours due to a leak in a shower and I had to turn water off to house, Manual showed up around 9:30 pm and was able to cap the shower lines and they will come back and make the repairs since they have to cut into the wall and remove tile and replace tile. Very professional service tech and was fully upfront with cost of project.

Nothing like having an AC go out in the Texas heat on a weekend but Manny identified the issue and was able to temporarily fix the unit while needing to order parts. He communicated with me everything he was doing as well as arrival times. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The staff was so helpful as well and answered all my many questions. Thank you all for your role you each played as it was much appreciated.

Wish I could give zero stars.
Called to have a shower drain unclogged. The guy proceeded to try to unclog it using only a drill auger for about 5 mins then tried to talk me into getting my shower concrete busted out and replace pipes that are literally 5 years old.
I told him that I thought they would use a standard auger though the roof clean out because the way the pups are angled in the shower, a drill auger does not work. He said no and continued to try and convince me to replace pipes or get a camera in. There is nothing wrong with the pipes, just some hair build up from a bunch of long hair woman in the house.

So after doing nothing and not fixing the drain I was charged $53.

I used lowery because they offer standard flat rate on weekends, now I know why. Because they made money by not doing anything.
Really pretty irritated and will definitely never use there services or recommend them to anyone else.
Just try to update and get money out of you.

Phillip was very understanding about our issue, came out again and reassured me that an additional repair will solve our problem.

Had our air conditioning go out recently, so we called Lowery based off of these reviews.

Joe came out the same day, opened the panel on the unit outside, and immediately declared 'yep, your condenser is dead, you'll need a whole new unit'. He looked over the parts inside even commenting, 'yeah, you can tell someone else has worked on this before and probably didn't do a good job'. I asked Joe if there was anything we could test to see if we could fix it, and he laughed stating 'Yeah, but it wont start, I promise you'. Joe left and they sent Brent out to talk over the next steps.

Brent was highly aggressive in selling me a new unit (I just wanted to know my options and hopefully get an idea on prices). When I asked Brent 'I dont understand, how would a smaller evaporator than my current one (which is bulky and sticks out some), cool better, wouldn't it be worse? Brent replied with 'Look, are you a Certified Air Conditioning service provider? No, I didn't think so. It's obvious that it will be better than this.' When I later commented that the prices seemed high compared to my brother whom just had his replaced, Brent quickly became defensive stating 'We aren't just some shop that operates out of the back of a pickup truck. If you want to compare prices, maybe we aren't the company for you after all.'

In the end, I found a company my parents have used since forever that came out, heard me describe the issue and immediately said he could likely tell me what the problem was. He grabbed a part from his truck, opened the side panel, pulled out the same exact parts that Joe had looked at earlier and said yep, there it is. He replaced a blown capacitor and the unit started right up without problem. He had nothing positive to say about Lowery Plumbing, Heating & Air.

After today, neither do I.

Decent service

I contacted Lowrey a couple weeks or so ago to get an estimate on a new unit, Jim came out quickly to give us a price quote. He gave us several options to let us make the choice that best fit our needs and budget. Our unit went out completely a week later, so we called and Jim came back that day to sign the contract. The next day Johnny and another guy (I apologize I forgot his name) came out and got everything installed and working by the end of the day while battling rain showers. Great service, efficient, and very friendly folks. As always you hate the price of having to replace your Central AC/Heat System, but everything Lowrey did was great.

I had a complicated drain problem that required multiple visits and involved coordinating with the city in switching out their portion of a drain line that connected with my own line. Lowery identified the problem using some really impressive camera equipment, worked with the city (more than once) and got the job done. I couldn't be more grateful or impressed with their work. Lowery plumbing did my sewer line at my house the work good, and also they did my dad shower it needed remodeling, overall job finished on time and it shower needed new tile to finish the work.

When our bathroom drains clogged over the weekend and we had guests, they came within an hour and unclogged the drains and had everything working perfectly! Lowery plumbing was affordable and so easy to deal with. We will definitely be using them from now on!

Called for a clogged washer line on a Saturday and the service guy called right back but he couldn't get to it until after lunch on Sunday. This company is way to expensive cost 260 to fix a water heater. It only took him 30 minutes to fix. Don't use this company go with a different company.

Was very disappointed with all around service. Never met the man .mr. ira that came and did the survey of wht needed to be done never saw him. He never called me on progress. Then plumber they sent broke my gas line and left us without water and gas for 6 days and then he repaired it then he had to do it twice and still leaking ended up having to send a different plumber to fix it correctly and no Mr. Ira or fone call. . That should of never happened. Also got my restroom redone that is why I gave them a 2 they did a decent job there Mr. Javier and his assistant did good on that part. But overall for what we had to pay was to much plus it took almost 3 weeks to complete work. But thank the Lord we r blessed. I just know will never use them again and hope if anyone hires them they do a better job then they did for us

Lowery came out and took care of my plumbing problems then performed a full check up on my house. They even ran a camera down my pipes. Then they gave me several options to fix problems I wasn't aware of before. Their guys are professional, clean cut, and knowledgeable. And the service call was free as part of their Nofeevember promotion!

Terrible customer service. I called and then technician called me saying he'll call me the next day or following day to let me know he's on his way.....it's now a week later and still never called back. I'm glad they didn't cause I found a much more reliable company and serviced me the same day I called.

The sewer started backing up into our showers on a Sunday evening. I called Lowery because they advertise no extra charge for evenings/weekends. The lady that answered the phone was nice but I never did get a technician to call or come help our problem. I called back 3 times over 2+ hours and talked to the same lady each time. She assured me the technician had received my information but she couldn’t tell me if he would actually respond. Lowery can offer the “no extra charge for weekends” because they don’t actually show up to do the work on a weekend. I will never call them again.

Services to clean out the plumbing was only $50, which was great. I had $20 laying on my kitchen table that I had forgotten to pick up before Justin got there. A couple hours after he left I noticed that the $20 was no longer sitting on the table where I left it. I told Justin at the time that I would recommend him to other people because of the low prices, but the fact that someone would come into my house and steal is not acceptable. I will never use this company again and would advise anyone who uses them to make sure all items that have any sort of monetary value be picked up and put away beforehand.

If you use this company make sure you get a quote or you will be gouged! You can’t talk to the owner or manager if your not satisfied. They have a unique way of charging and will not discuss how your being charge your just told your paying for expertise their techs have. The technicians were very friendly the issue I have is no quote was given and I didn’t really believe it would be necessary based on their reputation. I had 3 bathroom sink stoppers replaced at a staggering cost of $700 and that was after a discount. It was about an hour of labor to do the repairs.

Called and set up an appointment to look at and install a kitchen faucet, appointment set for 3. 3:15 came no call, no nothing waited until 4:00, no call, I call, was told the guy coming out had delays installing a water heater. Guy finally calls at 7:00 p.m. and comes and tells me he will charge me $200.00 to install the kitchen faucet. Nothing special here just unhook the old one and hook the new one. $200.00 sounds a little excessive so I called someone else. This guy has a big advertising budget, perhaps should spend less on advertising and more on reasonable prices I mean I don't think even an attorney charges this much per hour !

Had a mini split A/C system put in our house, Ira was great in helping us map out the system and figure out the most cost efficient and effective set up. The next day, JJ and his crew were out during the hottest days of summer, working to get our system built and running. These guys worked hard to get us up and running quickly. It’s been a great experience from beginning to end.

The tech came out looked at the heating unit and told me all that was wrong was it needed I thermostat which I provided. I paid $95 for service call plus $100 for labor. I noticed a few days later that the heating unit didn't seem to be getting hot enough to warm the rooms. I called back and they wanted to charge me another $95 dollars to come back out when they should have checked this before leaving. I already paid them to fix it but they didn't fix it and still want to charge me a second time. That's what's wrong with companies like this...double charging.

They did a competent and speedy job.

You schedule your entire day around an install, cancel or move appointments, adjust your entire week. You then get a call; Sorry, we have to move your appointment to another day because we have another bigger job we have to tend to. Now that's customer service! Do yourself a favor and skip this company!

NO OVER TIME EVER 24/7 365, BS Out the Butt. The reason why there is no O.T. is because they charge 115.00 just to come out and look at the issue. Then you have to call and talk to 2 people just to think about getting your money back. 49.95 service charge but yet a 115.00$ charge is close enough I guess, oh and when you ask why you are charged that amount they will tell you on the phone they have no idea how that happened. Oh wait you need a new 16,000$ dollar AC system today for a wiring issue the tech had no idea about. Went to Sinclair for the issue and they had the part replaced and its running better than ever. Had ac issues on a Sun. Called at 8 am and Lowery’s technician, Patrick Castro, communicated via phone when heading to our residence and was here by 10. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable on our unit and had the issue resolved in about 15 min. Patrick was very thorough in explaining the issue and possible cause. For Sun call the repairs were extremely affordable. Great job Lowery!!!!

Had Jeff out to my house recently to perform my annual maintenance. He was fantastic! Knowledgeable and polite. He even maintenance my tankless water heater while he was here. I'd recommend them to anyone for service.

Extremely disappointed... Lowery charged $650 to install a part on the water heater to get it fixed. The water heater still wasn't working. After days without hot water we had to pay someone else to come out and get it working. Will not call them again for anything.

the new system they sold and installed for us has turned into a Trane wreck. Third day in less than a week that they have been out to attempt to fix a short cycling heat pump system. Of course it’s several hours out of our day each time + stress of having to deal with people in and out. We have other things to do besides babysit technicians that can’t seem to fix this unit or show up when they promise. They should have replaced it by now if they can not fix it. Would love to talk to the owner to resolve this but apparently he’s invisible. Meanwhile, the marathon repair is in its third day. Thinking it’s time for a lawsuit. Apparently the wrong valve was installed so this whole thing is on them!

Today was a struggle!! I called around, like so many folks do, when my heater decided to stop working on the coldest day of the year. My hvac system is on the roof so the snow from last night caused an issue when trying to find someone to repair my system. Lowery to the rescue!!! Justin calls me around 1 to check in. I begrudgingly inform him that my unit is on my roof. Instead of turning me down like everyone else, he asks me a couple of questions. Is my roof metal or shingle...shingle, is it covered in snow and ice?...no. With those answers, he very pleasantly said yea!! I'll do it!! I had to be at work for a bit longer so he said he could go do some other jobs and come back to mine. Justin got here in a timely manner, fixed the issue, and thank you Lord, we have heat!! Oh my I’m so happy! JJ came out and repaired a small leak that happened when I got a new clean out put in, then found another clean out that we didn’t know we had, he tied them all in where they should be all in a matter of a couple of hours! He even went above and beyond and put in top soil to level out the ground that had sunken in from the leak!! What a professional!! Larry came to unplug our main line from house to alley! He did an excellent job! Not only did he clear the plugged up pipe but educated us on how to properly keep our pipe cleared in the future. We have an old pipe and in the future will have to replace it. But he gave us tips on how to keep it going til then. We also are having ac problems and set us up for appt. Lowery installed a complete HVAC system two years ago in my 50-yr-old home. Their service is excellent, and I highly recommend them.

Our 20 year old unit kept freezing up and needed repair. After consulting with the service tech we decided that it was time for a new system. Sales rep came out to our house while the service tech fixed our existing system to get us by until the new one could be installed. I had already gotten a quote from another company to replace everything and Lowery's beat their price and gave us better equipment. The installation guys were able to come the very next day and were very professional and hard working. This was a great experience and excellent customer service. Other companies said it would take a week to even service our old system, but Lowery's had our old system repaired to get us by and the entire new system installed in less than 24 hours.

Our washing machine and kitchen sink were backing up on Tuesday night. Looked around and decided to call Lowry on Wednesday morning. They came out that afternoon and ran the snake but had no luck. He said they would send someone with a camera to look at it and would include that in the price. 8 am Thursday morning Philip came, ran the camera, saw the problem and was able to get it fixed. He was very friendly and gave us some advice and tips. Would definitely recommend Lowry Plumbing and would recommend Philip from there as well. We will be using them again should the need arise.

We had a major repair done on our home and the account balance was being paid out by the landlord. Somehow they decided to charge the full remaining balance to my credit card WITHOUT my approval. Luckily I have worked out the kinks with my landlord but unauthorized charges are not okay. Go somewhere else.

We have used Lowery in the past for A/C maintenance with no issues, but our most recent plumbing experience was enough that we will never call them again.

The whole experience was frustrating, from the initial appointment scheduling, to a failed plumbing job. They did not stand behind their work when it did fail, and have been very rude when calling to inquire about it. Now we are still without working plumbing, and are out several days and money paid for them to do nothing.

Little pricey but workers do a great job in a timely manner. Javier and Keith finished the job of patching the small area of concrete. The area patched was sawn cut and these two guys are great workers and an asset to the company .

Got three estimates on a leaky sink. Lowry said I needed a whole new thing for $3,500. The other two plumbers said he was lying to me. All I needed was a new faucet for a couple hundred dollars

We just purchased a home where Lowery installed all new HVAC and hot water heaters. They contacted us to come perform the free maintenance and we didn’t even know we had this option. Then, Justin did an amazing job installing a bigger hot water heater for us! He was professional, quick, on time and patient with all of my questions! I highly recommend this company!

I unfortunately am not having a good experience and i can't get anyway in upper management to talk to me. I have called several times and sent a detailed email with some concerns and still nothing. The job entails a trenchless system of nearly all the clay and cast iron plumbing system. They started July 19th and to date I have a big hole in the middle of our room that has not been covered. I'm hoping with this post someone will call me. Attached is a photo of the email sent on August 3rd. I just want someone to discuss this with me and tell me when the hole inside my home will be repaired. Huge disconnect and lack of communication and responsiveness.

They quoted $11,000 to do the work on my small home. I called three other companies and each gave me estimates of under $3,000. I cannot share about the quality of the job, because after their quote I went with another company.

I paid $344 for them to fix my Ac with the wrong part. They were supposed to come and fix it with the correct part but did not. When I got someone to come out to replace the wrong part with the correct one, he tried to charge ma another service charge. When I confronted him, he yelled and cussed at me. My Wife is afraid he is going to come back and shoot us. My neighbors had to come out to help me because he was yelling at me. He was sick of dealing with my people... we are both white! this was horrible and and my AC is still not fixed.

Almost every pipe in my grandmas house needed to be replaced. Zach and Manuel couldn’t have been more amazing at fixing everything! They were very thorough and great at communicating what they were doing and how long it was going to take. She was so thankful for the work they did and couldn’t have been more pleased with the process and outcome. These two are an amazing team and she would definitely recommend them!

I used Lowery for a drain cleaning back in 2019. The technician that came out used a hand tool to clear out my bathtub drain, the same type of hand tool that I used. I thought this wouldn't be sufficient but the technician told me that if this didn't clear out the line that they would come back to do a proper cleaning of the line. 4 days later I had a clogged drain again. I called back and I was told I needed to pay again for another drain cleaning. I was a little upset and told them I shouldn't have to pay again since I received poor service the first time the technician came out. Now almost 4 years later, I called to have a drained cleaned and I was told that they would need to get approval to service my house again. This is already 2 almost 3 days after my initial request for service and I didnt get a response. I had to call to check on my status of my request and I was told there was no record of my initial request. All of the other plumbing companies in Lubbock are better then Lowery. Its sad that a company does not want to do business with someone after a little criticism for having poor customer service.

Today is Christmas. Last night we had to spend the night in a hotel because all of our plumbing was clogged. No toilets. No showers. Initially we were being told IF we could get someone to come out it would be over $300 for holiday pay and that it would likely not be until the 26th. I called Lowery and Blake was AWESOME. So nice! Very prompt and he came to our rescue on Christmas and the best part is my cost was the same today as any other day. Thank you Lowery for not capitalizing on our crisis and for happily coming to our aid. Blake never complained or even hinted it was a burden for him even though I'm sure he was missing some quality time with his family. I will never use another company after today!!

I have waited a year to leave this review, but when we discovered yet another issue related to the total re-plumb of our house, I felt a review was warranted. We hired Lowery to do a complete re-plumb of one of our investment properties in October of 2021. Since then, We have had to call them back out no less than 8 times to warranty poor workmanship. Rough-in plumbing was improperly installed or placed (3 times), a newly installed vent stack was not waterproofed on the roof and led to major flooding and water damage after a rain storm (it took 6 calls and two months to get them to address the issue and I water-proofed the vent stack myself), a drain line in the wall became disconnected and leaked inside the wall, and today, we discovered the drain under the tub is dumping water onto the dirt under the house into the crawl space. We will not be calling them out to warranty this work any longer, as I have ZERO confidence in their work. We will be paying out of pocket to have another company come fix Lowery’s issue. We are still paying on the $20,000 we paid them for this work and I could not be more heartsick about it. Don’t hire this company under any circumstances.

I had Lowery install a new heating and cooling system with a new water heater. I chose the option of 7 years warranty. Every 6 months one of the technicians comes out and replaces the filters, checks the system and drains the water heater.
When I decided that I wanted a soft water system, I called Lowery. They installed the system in just a few hours. They are professional and courteous. I highly recommend them.

I have had clogged drain issues twice, and both times, Lowery's has come out and fixed the issues quickly and at a reasonable price. I live in Abernathy and it is hard to find someone who will come out here sometimes. I cannot say enough good things about Lowery's.....they are prompt, courteous and professional.

Gave this company a call due to problems with toilet flushing. Expected snake drains or something. First thing they do is get debit or charge even if before setting an appointment. When bc the guy finally comes he asks for a wire hanger & vinegar from my pantry. He jiggles wire hanger pours all my vinegar down toilet flush it & leave. 49.95.....

Communication was terrible, took way to long to complete, (2 months), Had to come back several times to repair toilet, needs to have one crew that starts the job, finish the job instead of someone different every day . Terrible experience , very frustrating

He did a great job of explaining what he found and recommendations for what should/could be done but was not pushy at all. Never tried to sell me which I appreciate. Had a clog on a Sunday afternoon and Lowery was the only plumbing company that we called to return our call.

I never hire them in future, Very bad experience yesterday. Small fixes for very high price, incomplete work insisted on full payment left no receipt. I agree if some company keep 10-20% hire than other technician. These people didn't completed the task and and took money with the promise that someone will come and work with us. Guess what no one showed up. Incomplete work and arrogant staff, Be careful! DO NOT LET THEM WORK ON YOUR PROPERTY!!!

How rude!! They came to our daycare center (that is housed in a church) and had a problem getting the snake down the drain. After we went through different options they simply said we don't do churches. And left. If that was the case then they never should have entered our building. Because we wasted time trying to give our business to them, we were in a scramble to get the problem fixed so we could be open for business today. Big thanks to Mr. Rooder who came, worked hard, and fixed the problem at 10:30pm.

We have been working with Lowery's for over a year now. In April of 2022 one of their contactors told us we needed a new backyard plumbing line to solve our current issues. Not only did the job have multiple complications and take over 6 weeks to complete, but we are still having plumbing issues and cannot currently use our kitchen sink or washing machine.
Our technician, Albert has been wonderful every time he visits. He has always openly communicated with me and 4/5 times been able to successfully clear a clog. Another technician, Lucas, was very kind and did everything he could to help after knowing we spent so much money with them. However they were unable to fix the current problem.
However, after paying over $6,500 for services, we are still unable to successfully use our plumbing system.

I had left a review a couple months ago and had a total different experience. It was the entire reason this was the first place we decided to call.. It was top service. Well now it’s not. Our A/C is not working again… I was told to call back anytime and y’all would come out to help. That was not the case this time so that was a lie. And the technician (Carlos) did not even want to come out to take a look at it to even see what was going on and he was RUDE! LAZY doesn’t even begin to explain this. Unsympathetic is the word for it. They Did not want to help. I could go on… I am livid because we have a little one and our house is insanely hot because I trusted to call this place back to help us and now they don’t even want to come out and help us when they said they would anytime!! We will NEVER be calling this place again. We will be taking our business elsewhere that actually wants to help. This is supposed to be a place of service and they sure know how to push business away!

We noticed a water leak late last Friday evening and called our normal plumber who couldn’t help. Called Lowery Plumbing and they sent someone within a few hours.
Long story short we had problems after problems and each day seemed to confuse all of us.
Manuel Castillo was here each day and called to let us know he was on his way and kept us updated.

This company will charge you even if they don’t do anything at all! Beware! Had ac issue and tech came out but didn’t do anything because it was too cold. After a day it worked and did not need help but they still charged which pretty sad to me if nothing is done just look and that’s it then charge. I wasn’t even told I would be charged so now I’m never calling this company. To me the amount was excessive just to look. Not even a Parral credit was offered. Must be nice making money for doing nothing!

Had major sewage and pipe replacement done last year. They had to cut into my contrete patio in backyard to access plumbing. They filled it back in and poured new concrete. That was early in Spring. That concrete is cracking and sinking and a hole is forming under that concrete. We are very unhappy and we are looking at the possibility of having to have the entire patio redone by someone else.

We first called about a slow toilet and water backing up into the shower from the toilet.

After a $6500 repair, TEN DAYS USE LATER we had a slow toilet and water backing up into the shower from the toilet.

After the subsequent $2750 repair, SIX DAYS USE LATER, we still have a slow toilet and water backing up into the shower from the toilet.

that's not good.

I absolutely loved that we could call them ANYTIME. We had to have our entire plumbing, under the house replaced. They are licensed by the state, and they warranty their work. Every plumber that had to come out, dig, crawl through the tightest imaginable spaces, and deal with a pipe bursting water onto his face, were the kindest, more considerate, and well mannered men I've gotten to deal with. it was a truly stressful time for my family, and they stayed on top of it and communicated with us constantly. Thank you all.

2nd time using Lowery and still pleased and appreciative of their work, concern & kindness. Jim Heflin (salesman) really deserves applause all the way around. He is a very pleasant man, not too pushy, and is proud of his work and family. He should of charged me way more than what he actually charged, and for that, i cannot thank him enough. His crew (Daniel Mendoza and Scotty Lowery) were prompt, efficient, beyond nice and above all else-hardworking! They did an amazing job installing a new water heater and yard line for us. They really treated us nicely and it will not be forgotten.

Technicians came to our commercial a/c unit and claimed that damper mechanism wasn't working. After a few questions, he admitted he didn't know which unit was ours so 2 more technicians come back out. They try to say our unit just isn't strong enough for what we need and try to sell me a new $18k unit. I called another company the next day for a second opinion and discovered that our unit was unplugged, had a 35 amp fuse instead of a 50 amp, which is probably what fried the compressor, and was completely out of freon. I've called back twice to cancel my maintenance plans and haven't received a call back. We will not be using this company again.

These guys have always done good work for me, and on occasion when a mistake happened they have made it right. Today's job was pretty small, but Jake still did service like it was a larger one. Much thanks also to the whole team, who recently completed some much larger repairs for me.

He was professional in appearance & manner, was cordial the entire time he was here, and above all...fixed our AC so we weren't suffering any longer in the July heat! His work convinced me to purchase their Preferred Customer Service Agreement for another year...knowing our units will be taken care of by someone who cares what they do & how they do it. Thanks for showing great customer service...it is rare to find any more!

Instead of telling me the truth, I got the lie & blame. Trane heat pump stopped working properly, I called because my paperwork indicated it could still be under warranty. I was told the work wouldn’t be covered because I hadn't called both them AND Trane to let them know of home owner change & to register under my name. Reality is they didn’t want the cost and hassle to repair. Needing to report new homeownership (from original purchaser) is a poor excuse; this is not stated on their original original work order, or the Trane manual. I even mentioned as an easy out for them, that didn’t sound right, and have a family member that has worked for Trane and been in the the industry for over 30yrs and he’s never heard that. They lost a customer by pushing blame to me versus making right on a promise and taking the headache on themselves.

After paying lowerys 3000 The company sent out 2 guys to do work at my house they tore up my bathroom floor with a jackhammer tore my shower tile replaced the toilet flank and said they would be back the following day, 3 days later never showed up i called them some one was suppose to come out and after almost 1week and close to the holidays nothing i had to hire someone els to finish the job i had already paid for and they never made it right. I called for a technician to come and check our Centeral air he came and no more than 15 minutes later left because he says he could not find anything wrong. He said to clean the ac unit that it could be causing blockage we cleaned it ourselves and it still isn’t working . He didn’t leave any information didn’t say what it could be he just said we are really expensive. When I called the call service she stated they would not be able to come me back out till Monday. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied with there services I was hoping to get a resolution and did not .

Scam artists. Mid-afternoon they said it was my capacitor (on ac) and replaced ti. Said it was fixed but to wait 4 hours for cool air... 3 hours later I called them back and was told the person was an hour away and had 3 hours of calls ahead of us. When he arrived he said it needed a motor which would be $700, but there was no point in repairing it because the whole unit (5 years old) was messed up and we needed to spend $7,500-$10,000 on a new unit.

At this point it was almost 10, we got a hotel room and I was suffering from early heat stroke. I get online and ask my neighbours (Nextdoor app) about the company and around 15 people responded saying that Lowery tried to force them to buy new units too.

The next day we called out Duncan who replaced the motor, said the unit was fine, charged us $400 including the call out fee.

Lowery seems set on nothing but replacing every unit they get their hands on. A $400 fee cost me $234 (capacitor which I'm sure would have been cheaper elsewhere) and $200 for hotel, almost $900.

I am debating going after them to pay my hotel fees.

Freddie and Robert did an excellent job installing our new HVAC system! They were very thorough and cleaned up after they were finished. We appreciate their professionalism and willingness to answer all our questions.

First and foremost, we now have air conditioning. I contacted you on Tuesday morning, someone came out to assess the problem within a couple of hours. Unfortunately for us, it was time to replace the entire system, but we anticipated that this was coming sometime soon,(15 years old). Jim came out quickly to give us a price quote. He gave us several options and let us make the choice that best fit our needs. We chose, and Johnny and ? came out early on Wednesday morning, and got everything installed and working by mid afternoon. Great service, efficient, and we were only without A/C for 24 hours or less. I hate the price of having to replace the system, but everything you have done is great.

We just recently used Lowery for our home in Wilson. The customer service was outstanding. Jeff, the service guy that came to our home, was knowledgeable and very experienced. He was also ON TIME. We have TWO water heaters and we have the AC unit and the heater. Jeff talked to us about a service plan that would save us money on having them serviced every year. I would recommend Lowery to anyone that asked me. My husbands son just bought a house, and we have already recommended this option to him as a money saving benefit. The service plan alone will save us a lot of money every year, and it will give the peace of mind knowing that everything is in good working order before needing to use it for that season. Way to go Lowery. Job well done, both in the office (Kirstin and Rhonda) for the initial interaction, and for the in home service (Jeff) as well. We will continue to recommend Lowery.

My husband and I found ourselves with a messed up heater motor the first coldest day of the year. Lowery responded to the maintenance call fast and Patrick was amazing and fast with his diagnosis. We figured it would still take a few days to fix but he got Jim to come by (even tho he was super busy and was working late to help everyone) and talk to us about our options. He sat with us let us make our decision and interacted with my 4 year old with the biggest smile on his face. We have used Lowery a few times in the past and each time it has been great and continues to get better! Everyone I have talked to has been super friendly and helpful! We will forever use Lowery!

Terrible company. We had $12,000 worth of work done in 2017. Afterwards, we still had issues. Then in 2019, we had more issues in the hall that they apparently never covered so we ended up giving them the benefit of the doubt and payed another $7,000. Here we are and I am 5 months past their guarantee and the SAME EXACT problem is happening. I called and the lady was super rude and said well there's nothing we can do. I can have someone come out for $60 and you can pay any parts and labor. SERIOUSLY?! This is unacceptable. I understand I am a little outside my warranty, but you could at least have some integrity and send someone to see if it is the same issue. I will be fining an attorney because this is beyond upsetting. And I would not recommend this company. They are the highest priced in town (which is actually why we chose them because we thought we were paying for quality but we absolutely got the worst quality).

We called Lowery plumbing late Saturday evening and they came out and cleaned out our main line and our problem was fixed. We were charged exactly what Larry had stated on the phone. No surprise fees. We will definitely use Lowery plumbing again if needed.

The technician was prompt and knowledge. Our a.c. wasn't cooling and needed the capacitor replaced. The repair time was short and he got the a.c. up and going in no time. Thanks for all you do.

I called Lowery around 8:30 pm last night (on Memorial Day weekend) thinking I would have to wait til Monday or Tuesday to have someone come out to fix the upstairs AC where my son sleeps. Have an old house with old plumbing. One Friday it finally gives up and stops draining. Mike came out Sunday but could not get things working. He said we would set up a camera inspection- no extra charge. Unfortunately, we ended up needing to re-plumb the house. Steven made a scary, unplanned expense a little more comfortable and acceptable. Scott and Miguel came out the next day and got right to work. They did an excellent job explaining what they were going to be doing and kept me updated throughout the process. They were done and cleaned up in 2 days. Did I want to have to go through this expense at this time? NO. But, since we had to do it, Lowery's did a fantastic job!

We experienced a major overflow of potties & a floor drain at 3:45 yesterday. We called about seven plumbing companies, knowing it was late & that we would have to wait & be lucky to get someone to come out. Lowery called us & said they had a technician that could come out. In the hour we waited for them to show up we had three other companies call back with offers to come help us. We told them no, Lowery is coming already. The technician arrived & introduced himself & we showed him the problem & where the clean outs, vents, & drains are located. We've been at this location for 17 years & this is not our first rodeo. The technician seemed lost & agitated. He couldn't decide where to start but tried to snake out the floor drain but couldn't get the wire down very far. We showed him the other clean out spots & I suggested that he get on the roof & he thought we should get a camera. He said he'd have to call someone to get the camera. I said great, let's do it! I then returned to my office. A few minutes later my husband came in & said that guy left, you're going to need to call someone else. I was surprised & asked why. My husband said, the guy said, they don't do churches.
We then began trying to call other companies to help us as the child care center cannot operate without potties & running water & I'd already asked our families to pick up their children early due to the backup. Now it was after 6:00 PM. Finally got a hold of another company who did come out & worked for two hours & cleared the line & enabled us to operate today!
This morning I got a call from Chito the labor manager for some reason. (We had several upset families about them walking off the job who had made a few phone calls.) Mr. Chito said that they had handled the situation poorly & he wanted to apologize. (This is how he should have left it, for anyone who is trying to learn about customer service by reading this!) However Chito said he was speaking for Mr. Lowery & wanted to let me know what a good Christian & person Mr. Lowery is But - it's is his policy, a company policy that they do not do business with churches. He said that their company has employees of all different backgrounds & that their beliefs are that they would be discriminating if they didn't have this policy. WHAAAAT?
Without getting too into being political is he trying to tell me that he doesn't want to do business with people of Muslim , Mormon, Buddha, or any other belief besides Christianity? Does this guy really know about Jesus? Does he not know that Jesus loves everyone, regardless of sin, misunderstanding, culture, social position, politics, or church membership? This is my Jesus & he says no only to one force which is evil & hatred & bigotry. All are welcome at His table Mr. Lowery and Mr. Chito as I said in our conversation this morning, you should look for another company to work with. I am sure a company who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves & do the hard work, even after hours, will appreciate someone who is a dedicated & willing to accept responsibility as you.

Chris and Daniel were awesome! Unfortunately a city accident took out our main line, but these two were efficient and wonderful to work with. They were professional, knowledgeable, and explained the concerns and next steps so I could decide exactly what services I did or did not want to opt for. No one likes plumbing issues, but these two made it all as pain-free as it can be. They even called the city for me on the outside main lines issues, so those problems will be fixed within the next 24 hours as well. I’d certainly recommend them if you find yourself in a crappy situation. :)

The service I received was excellent! The telephone operator was helpful and professional and the plumber arrived at my house way ahead of the estimated time I was given. I would like to say first of all I don’t see how this company doesn’t have 6 stars. The gentleman Justin came out to our house and diagnosed the issue we were having, in a very professional and knowledgeable way. In our opinion your company sent the best out to tell us what we needed to do and what we needed to help out our system and prepare for future things that may need to be done. And the ONLY company we would ever call for any future work is this one. I wish their was more I could say to praise the technician and the company, but just give them a call is all I can say and you will not regret it. It’s hard to find a company who actually sticks by what they say and do. But this one does.

Lowery did a trenchless repair of a drain line in our house and did a good job. Then the next week our kitchen sink stopped draining and the drain line on our washing machine came apart. We called them out again. They ran the camera and gave us an estimate to redo all of the kitchen and laundry plumbing for more than $23,000. We said no, we couldn't afford that (we had spent $18,000 with them the week before) and please just get the line unclogged and fix the laundry drain. We had to wait until the next day for them to come and do the work. The technicians were rude and didn't even bother to repair the laundry drain like we asked. they said we could call back again. It took two days to get a simple repair done and then when we wouldn't spend $40,000 in two weeks with them they got snippy. We will NOT be using them again.

Reached out to Lowerys about broken AC after my warranty company told me they wouldn’t be able to come for a whole week. (It was 90 degrees In my house). Lowerys was able to send someone the next morning!! Justin got it fixed so quickly. He was efficient, kind, on time, & professional. So very thankful & will be using this company again!

Our sewer line was backing up. I had tried to fix the problem myself. Everytime I ran to Home Depot to rent the drain cleaning machine seemed to fix the problem tried this 3 times. The fourth time drain clogged within a 3 month period decided it was time to call a plumber. Spoke to Chris with Lowery on a Saturday and he told me he would be there as soon as he could. Chris was prompt, professional and took time to explain what he was doing and options we had. He ran a camera down the sewer line and found a problem in the alley which was a City of Lubbock water dept problem. 49.50 later and I have the answer to why my sewer line is clogged. He marked the alley were the problem was and called the City to tell them that the problem was in the alley and they needed take care of it. Best 49.50 I ever spent. Service was excellent will recommend to anyone.

I have no issue with lowery plumbing themselves considering the actual plumbing work they did was not done well the fist time and then they came out and warrantied the work they did, and finish the work they charged for but never did.
The real issue is there contractor Robert. when he came back to patch all the holes from the plumbing i found out that he had been going through my stuff drinking from my private liquor stash. i have his filthy handprints all over my stuff. he took ammo from my closet and left my house a disaster area. if this is what lowery plumbing employs beware.
I reached out to lowery and they blew me off. I guess they are used to this type of behavior from their employees and don't really care.

Now the company is attempting to shut me up. What a crummy business.

Called at 7:30pm for a service call, call center followed up asking if they called. I told them no they said they would try him again. Called at 10:30pm again no call. Call center followed up about 20 minutes later i told them nobody had called. It’s now 11:42pm and still have no gotten a call! If you need after hours service do not use this company!

What an amazing company!!! Late morning call during record setting heat about our water heater going out and we had a new one heating water before 5:30pm!!!! Larry and Neal COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PROFESSIONAL!!! We have just moved to Lubbock and have certainly found our go to repair folks!!! Thanks again, Larry and Neal...you can't imagine how wonderful it was to have this fixed in one day!!!

It's disappointing after having such a great experience when I had an AC and Furnace replaced in my eldely aunt's home to what we have experienced with our most recent plumbing needs. Communication is extremely lax and there is little sense of ownership, pride and urgency to course correct. I have, on several occasions, had to call to get updates. We are on day 10 of a project that was supposed to be a day or two and still NOT done. Yet their plumbers updated the status as complete. The interactions have been emotionally draining and I feel they have taken advantage of a poor old woman, my aunt, in her mid 80s. A toilet was left unconnected and unusable a huge pile of dirt left where they dug and who knows what else isn't done to the level I had expected for a professional. This brings into question the breaking of slab to, what the called, pin point the leak. Several days later and several digs later they finally found it, but I'm concerned if we got this kind of treatment, what kind of quality in their work should I expect. So if your on the fence, or reading reviews to decide I recommend, move on. They aren't the same. When I called to speak to a supervisor who actually can help to gain resolution, I was told a ticket would be put in and the people reviewing tickets wouldn't see it for a couple of weeks. I literally had no words! So I guess I have no immediate recourse to get the project completed. Shame on guys, Lowey Plumbing.

Larry and Neil were fantastic. Only the second time in 8 years I've needed an actual plumper out to my house, and they got us fixed right up! If I need anything in the future, or if I screw up something trying to fix it myself, I'll be giving these guys a call.

During construction project leak from kitchen sink and master bedroom toilet found . Needed to have fixed before project could continue. Our regular plumber was unable to come out. Called Lowery.
Miguel came out to our ranch in Garza County. Charge $75.Diagnosed problem and said repair would be done 2 days later. A few days later two plumbers came out and spent 75 minutes at house and replaced 10 ft pipe. Charge $700 ...no itemized statement. When our contractor came out to finish up project,he (Greg Carson - Carson Construction.Post,Tex) said repairs had not been completed. He got down and dirty and fixed problem in 35 minutes...No Charge! When questioned bill to Lowery about exorbitant charge and that work not done,Mike said,”You’re not making any sense!”

I'm compelled to share my recent experience with Lowery due to the sheer discrepancy between the prices they charged me and the market prices of the parts involved.

I had called them in to take a look at my malfunctioning air conditioner, believing that they were professionals who would provide fair and transparent pricing. Instead, I was left utterly disappointed and taken aback by their business practices.

When the technicians diagnosed the issue, they indicated that a specific part was faulty and needed to be replaced. The charge for this part, not including their service fee and labor, was a staggering $370. Out of necessity and the immediate need for cool air during a particularly warm week (108*F), I agreed to the service.

However, I later discovered, upon conducting my own research, that the exact same part was available in the market for a mere $70. This difference is not a slight increase or a negligible markup, but a clear case of overcharging to an unreasonable degree.

Moreover, I felt a lack of transparency in the way this transaction was conducted. At no point did the technician explain why this part was so costly or whether there were more affordable options available. The absence of this conversation led me to believe that the technician was more interested in my wallet than my comfort and satisfaction as a customer.

I understand the necessity for businesses to make a profit. However, charging over five times the market price for a part seems unconscionably steep. It is imperative that customers are treated with fairness and honesty, principles that appear to be lacking in my recent interactions with Lowery.

I would advise potential customers to approach Lowery with caution. Ensure you are aware of the market prices for parts and are comfortable with the potential of being charged significantly more than the market rate. It may be beneficial to explore other service providers who uphold higher standards of transparency and fairness in their pricing.

Despite the fact that my AC is now functioning, the sour taste left by this experience has led me to regret using Lowery for my air conditioning needs. I hope that they consider revising their pricing strategies to better reflect market standards and demonstrate respect towards their customers. Until then, I would be hard-pressed to recommend their services to anyone else.

Called because my AC stopped working fancy that it was after hours and before anyone says it I know it is more expensive. But when someone asks you what your after hours service call is the wrong answer is I don't know more expensive. Bad business if I did that in my business I would go out of business. I will never use these guys simply because they give the power to after hours guys to rip you off. Further more their phone customer service is absolutely terrible.

Linda was incredibly rude, and because I haven't closed on my home yet, they wouldn't bother coming out because they've had Lots of problems in the past. When you're rude, unprofessional, and uncaring, you will have problems.

They did such a good job I can't even tell there was a big hole in my wall! They were so professional and friendly! I would defiantly recommend these 2 guys to do any of your sheetrock work for you!!

The first picture is where Lowery plumbing cut out my sheetrock to fix the pipes for my washer and dryer, and the 2nd and 3d picture is where Keith and Javier fixed it! Can't even tell! I am so happy with Keith and Javiers work!

Larry was so great! He went out of his way to make sure our sewer issue was resolved quickly. He was kind and professional, and took time to answer my questions. His communication was prompt and clear, and he even reached out for a follow up to run a camera through the new pipe that was installed by the city.

Josh and Shawn were great! Very friendly, explained everything to me about the water heaters, cleaned up after their work was done. They were also the ones who blew insulation in the attic! Again, they did a great job.

We had a great experience using Lowery when our AC system stopped working. Our technician came out at 11:30 pm and got started on a solution, and was back out at 10:00 am to finish up and make sure all was running smoothly.

Looked on the website and saw that they advertise a 24/7 365 service and I needed a slab leak pinpointed. I called to see when the soonest someone could come out and the answering service put me on hold for 10 minutes. When I finally got someone I explained what I was looking for and was told One moment and then was put on hold again. When they came back she told me the office was closed. I was like well I need the 24/7 someone out here to show us where to dig for the slab leak and put me on hold again to what I presumed was to call someone to set up a time to come out. She then came back and said Thank you for choosing Lowery's how can I help you and I seriously had to go through it again. She gave me a LOT of attitude about having to answer the phone and I get that it's after the office closed but you can't advertise 24/7 service if you aren't going to provide it.

My family has been using lowreys for many years. Had many issues addressed. This last interaction with them, has us rethinking whom we choose as our plumbers. We’ve had them hours late showing up, or unable to give an appointment time (which is hard when everyone in the home works) plus not showing up for a scheduled meeting at all. Professionalism is lacking with some of the employees as well.

Technician was very helpful, nice, and not only got our drain flowing, he offered and setup free services to see if there was more to the issue based on his findings. Price was much less than I have paid before. He was on time and very easy to work with. Will definitely use Lowery's services again.

I thought the price for a blockage would have a catch, but Chris came out and did a fantastic job clearing my blockage!
