Best Heating in Los Angeles CA
Everything about Cali Rooter is top notch. They are professional, on time and prices are decent. Technicians are knowledgeable and willing to explain in detail about any issue you may have about plumbing. I for one have used this company and called during the middle of the night frantic about a faucet leaking and the technician calmed me down and we fixed the problem temporarily over the phone, until the next morning Cali Rooter came to my house and fixed the issue I was having, and it turned out to be a non-emergency issue! Thanks for your honesty and a job well done!

Broken water heater and water everywhere! I had no idea who to call, and Monkey Wrench was referred to me. I couldn’t have found a better team to work with. On time, courteous, fast and quality work. Thank you Monty and Brad! I will be calling you, and only you, for all water related home issues in the future.

BRyan did an excellent job in the maintenance and explaining the various options. I signed up for the annual maintenance and am thinking about the scrubber but cannot afford it at this time. I would like for BRyan to do the summer maintenance visit if possible.

We had a plumbing emergency in the middle of the night, and Speedy Stephens Plumbing Company of Los Angeles sent Harvey out right away. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, and he fixed the problem in no time flat. He was also very courteous and professional, and the prices were great. We will definitely be calling them again in the future.

The condenser in my A/C unit started started having an issue where it would cycle on and off repeatedly. After a restart, it ran just fine, but after a few hours the cycling would start .
I arranged to have Service All Stars come out to look at it. Their technician, Joshua, arrived and the first thing he point out was that my condensation pan was full of water. He immediately made the determination that I had a refrigerant leak, and the solution was to replace my entire unit for $8K. Short of that, he recommended I add refrigerant and a sealing gas, and enroll in their service plan, all for $1400. He never questioned why there was standing water in the pan, didn’t perform any testing or diagnostics, didn’t check the levels of the refrigerant before claiming that I needed more, and didn't measure the temperature of the air going in and coming out of the unit. Feeling uneasy, I opted for just adding some refrigerant for $475 and hoped for the best.
He watched me empty the condensation pan myself, apparently un-phased by the fact it wasn’t draining on its own. When I finished, he added a squirt of refrigerant (literally), turned on the unit, and then released some refrigerant. I attempted to take pictures but he became very uncomfortable, saying I didn't need to take pictures, and that he had a problem with people looking over his shoulder or getting too close. He said I would get full documentation after his visit by email anyway, which I never did.
At that point, the unit seemed to be working fine so he wrote up an invoice and I paid. Before he left, he asked me to review him on Yelp while he waited. I did not.
Several hours after he left the unit fell into exactly the same behavior as before. I noticed that the condensation pan was full of water again, and then it hit me - why wasn’t it draining? Was it clogged? Was *that* causing my issues? Luckily, I was able to clear the drain myself, and the unit has been working perfectly ever since. The condensation pan has remained empty as well.
In the end, I was charged for something I didn’t need, and I diagnosed and fixed the real problem myself.
The next morning, I called and gave the company a chance to make things right. Instead of apologizing or admitting any error, the owner defended their work and explained that they don’t need to test equipment. He claimed they have so much experience they can look at equipment and immediately determine what's wrong with it and whether or not it needs to be replaced. This, after learning his tech couldn't even properly diagnose a clogged drain.

I had a problem with my main water shut off valve leaking. Edgar and Guadalupe were very professional and conscientious and were able to solve the issues even though it was not very straightforward to change. They are highly recommended!

Called for Plumbing and Rooter services at 1 am today, they came out at 1:30am. Firstly that's real 24/7 customer service. Sarki (sorry if I messed the name up) really came through for us tonight. We had a hot water issue and he fixed it up in no time. Super friendly and knowledgeable guys that explained the process and did the job right. I will definitely be calling them soon for any future issues. They explained that our plumbing issues in our restaurant here in Los Angeles needed some work done with a new toilet and a possible new water heater and even looked at our leaky sink. Thanks guys.

Thank goodness I found Ralph when the pipe burst under my kitchen sink. Water was everywhere. I don't know much about plumbing, but somehow he fixed the pipe in about 40 minutes. Called and he came out in three hours. Reasonable price for such responsive service.

Good old fashioned speedy and competent service. When you have a plumbing issue you want it solved, fast. I called several companies before I found Mr. Speedy. Mr. Speedy was the only company which didn’t give me the run around. They just took care of it. And the plumber who did the work was friendly and tidy.

They gave me a cost to move a hot water heater which I agreed to. The price was about what I expected. A little higher than I wanted to pay, but they did come and do the work right away, so maybe that was the trade off. The work was completed well. The hot water heater was installed properly and up to code. We had an inspector look at it and he signed off on the work.
My only complaint was they came in the morning and did some work, then left and came back 3 hours later to finish up, leaving us without water. . . I know contractors do this sometimes to maximize their time, but it is a little annoying. . anyway I would definitely call them again in the future and give then first dibs on the job. . whatever job it might be. I hope I never have to call another plumber or contractor, but things go south sometimes don't they?
