Called these guys to take a look at a gas leak as the gas company had locked the meter. I was without hot water and they knew it was an emergent situation. The scheduling and the technician were friendly but that's where the good experienced stopped. They gave me a quote for 3 times as high as other quotes I received that day. We aren't talking hundreds of dollars, but thousands. They wanted to charge $4,000 higher than the next person and the other two quotes were from national chains with a great reputation. Additionally, I came to find out that I was charged double of what a normal leak detection test would have cost. $500 vs $250 from anyone else. If you do call this company, please make sure you call around because you're likely going to get taken for a ride.

Two workers for Ford’s Plumbing, Martin and Israel, replaced all the gas pipes under our house—which was built in 1924, and the pipes were rusty, pitted, and leaking gas. It was a very tough job, because there us hardly any space under the house. But they worked diligently at it for about a week, and it has passed inspection. Everything is working well, and we feel much safer. The two workers were informative, helpful, and friendly throughout the job, and it was a pleasure to have them here.

Service tech came out to fix my water heater, which was not lighting up because of moisture from rain, said that there are too many issue (really did not name any) and then suggested replacing the water heater as it is too old. It is about 5 years old only. He left without fixing the problem. Wasted my Twitter me and his. Really poor experience!

BEWARE: They will rip your elderly family off!!!!

My mom called Ford's Plumbing and Heating to check out an old manifold heating system. Long story short, the techs who showed up said that they don't work on manifold heating systems and charged a $99 service call fee for coming out.

To make matters worse, my mom asked them for a quote on a toilet install while they were out there. They must have been licking their chops when they quoted $1660 for a 1-piece toilet and install. Unbelievable! My mom unfortunately paid the $99 service call fee, and I installed the toilet myself for $425 in about 30 minutes.
