Best Flooring in Kansas City MO
Northland handyman will get the job done when no one else wants to get it done. Took care of some sealant around the house and venting bathrooms in the attic. Projects most contractors say are too small the Northland handyman gets it done for you. Appreciate your communication and dealing with my last minute addons.

Other than the delayed start, which I understand. They did great, completed the job, and made sure it was done right. And there was alot to fix.

For starters, they charge $615 for the first hour of service and it's a minimum of 1 hour service with each additional hour being $195, so be prepared for that.
So to give some backstory, I had a technician come out to my house to locate a leak that I had in my main water line. He narrowed down the leak's location to roughly a 3ft area. So, I hand dug 3-4 feet past each locate flag for a total of 9-10 feet, but did not find the leak. I then called them to come back to relocate the leak. He returned a few days later and after a couple of hours of work, he determined the leak was actually 5-6 feet away from where I stopped digging. So in total he was 10-12 feet away from his initial leak location. He then had the audacity to charge me an additional $341 (after our previous bill of $615).
The reason I am writing this bad review is not only because of the outrageous prices, but the dishonesty and unprofessionalism of how they conduct their business. The dishonesty was when the technician came to my house the first time, I asked him if his initial leak location was inaccurate, if he would charge us for a second visit. His response to both my wife and I was, If I am only a couple of feet off I will have to charge you for the second visit, but if I am way off, I will not charge you. As I mentioned above, he was easily 10-12 feet off in his original leak detection, but still charged me $341 for his second visit even though he was clearly, way off. After the second charge I attempted to get ahold of them in which I called and left 3 voicemails and never got a call back. Finally after calling for the 4th or 5th time I was actually able to talk to someone. When speaking with the manager who was actually the person conducting the leak detection, I confronted him about how he told me he would not charge us for a second visit if he was way off, in which his response was, Well, sometimes things come up. Since the leak was still not specifically located even after his second visit, I asked if he would then charge us for a THIRD visit to officially locate the leak, and his response was, Most likely.
In conclusion, I think this company is highly unreasonable and unprofessional and I would NOT recommend them to anyone. After being charged for two visits to our home to locate our leak, they still have not been able to accurately find where the leak is. That being said, we are now having to dig up our entire water line and replace the whole thing rather than just the portion that is leaking. I will also add that after their first visit before sending a technician out the second time, they told us that if they were unable to detect the leak and we decided to replace the entire line, they would refund us our money from the first visit. So I will be expecting a full refund for the job not completed.
