They did several little projects around our home, they were very quick in responding to my inquiry and were able to get to the projects 2 days early. The gentleman that came to do the work was very professional and courteous. We will have them back to do some other projects and look forward to dealing with them again.

Derrick was presentable, personable and professional. Brainstormed and fixed my favorite chair, toilet and secured gutter downspout. Suggested a tightening of my fence to swing easier. Score. Downspout checks and clean out. 4 of 7 downspouts were blocked by a foot or more of accumulated leaves and other debris..so compacted that the entire downspouts of 4 had to be completely removed. Derrick did a great job of troubleshooting our problems and making sure each one was completely clean and replaced correctly. He then addressed the opening to each downspout in the gutters and made two trips to Lowe’s to find the unit that he believes will work. Afterward he completely cleaned up. His work ethic and expertise are gold standard., I look forward to working with your company again. You were recommended by a satisfied neighbor and I will be adding my recommendation to his.

I had two exterior doors installed with locksets. The handyman that came was extremely friendly.
One exterior door was done well. He seemed to struggle a bit with the door from the garage to the house. He had the interior trim attached and then added spray foam insulation. It was too much and popped the trim off. It also seems a bit tight and tends to pop open when you open it.
None of this is major and I accepted the work.
Overall, I'm fine recommending the Company to others.

After speaking with someone and explaining what plumbling problems I was experiencing, was put on hold for at least 15 minutes, no one came back on line. No apology or anything, ended the call, will not be calling them again.

Shane was very thorough and efficient in tackling a long list of minor home repair projects. The work took less time than we had estimated, which decreased the overall cost. Also, while I had purchased many of the needed materials in advance, there were screws and washers that I did not have. Fortunately, Shane had a supply on his truck.

Needed my carpet in living room done, they came and ripped it up, with bulges said the would be back the next day then no show. I guess they thought racist jokes were funny to say as well. Maybe next time not at a customers house

We needed the ceiling fixed due to a water leak. We chose Mr. Handyman to do the work and are so glad we did. Very professional, arrived on time, competed job in a timely manner and was very efficient. Would highly recommend Mr. Handyman for any work that you need completed at your home.

How is it possible to remodel a whole kitchen from bare studs to floors, cabinets, and working kitchen sink? Well by asking Mr. Handyman of N Kansas City, Liberty, and Gladstone to send out one of their employees to assist. And yes, I wrote one, Josiah, which was amazing help with so much knowledge that was a delight to be around. Other companies I hired to work on my kitchen left me in a bind when they cancelled last moment. Luckily a cancellation happened in their work schedule and Josiah was able to come work with me for the week.

Josiah put up drywall, installed vinyl flooring, placed and ensure proper leveling of cabinets, and even helped with putting drywall up in my garage. His hard work is highly appreciated as remodeling a kitchen can be taxing. Having a knowledgeable working for the whole week and the completion of the project accomplished left the price as more than fair and appropriate.
Having small projects that you don’t feel comfortable completing on your own can be overwhelming at times which can lead to longer than expected timelines and/or budgets. If you are ever in doubt of working on your home, just ask Mr. Handyman to help. If anything, you get some company while you work and if you get Josiah, he was wonderful at explaining the how and why of the projects which gave me more confidence to work on simple things in my house.

Mr. Handyman did a full list of small chores for my mother. This included leveling the entry doorway, repairing under the door where water was leaking, removing old cabinetry and oven, engineering pull-out drawers and a new pantry door, smoke detector work and reworking master closet storage. She was very happy with their work, ideas and ingenuity!

I had a laundry list of accumulated projects I needed done and he completed them effectively and efficiently.

If you go with this company, ask for Shane Self. He dedicated nearly two entire work days to fix two drywall issues we had, as well as mounted a new microwave when no one else could provide us a good solution. He gave constant updates throughout the process and explained everything very thoroughly. Very happy with his work and the company overall.

Other than the delayed start, which I understand. They did great, completed the job, and made sure it was done right. And there was alot to fix.

We had wood rot damage to several out buildings. We needed someone who could cut the old wood out, install new sections and paint. We also had to have the subflooring and plywood floor removed from a playhouse on the property and replaced with decking. They did a fantastic job. They were polite, timely, worked hard and completed the job well, and left the property neat and clean. We enjoyed working with them on our project.

High winds blew down a portion of my privacy fence. Bids were solicited for repair or replacement of the entire fence. Shocked by a $9000 bid for replacement, I settled for an $1800 repair. It was in the middle of the heat wave, so work was postponed a week to no avail and took an extra day to complete. I was under the impression that the fence would be repaired by replacing the damaged and broken sections of the fence. No. The fence was literally mended and the old fence sections re-attached to a new fence post. 3 posts, 3 buckets of quik-crete, and 3 extra pickets replaced rotten and/or damaged parts of the fence. So far, it appears that the repairs are good. Once stained to match the rest of the fence, it should look acceptable.

Power washed the windows, porch, and patio. Great job.

I was amazed by several aspects of my experience with Mr Handyman. I needed a door replaced on an old house and feared it would be more work than my husband and I could do. The technician, Doug, arrived exactly when I was informed he would. He completed the work in half the time originally quoted and left the area neat and clean. I will absolutely call them again if w we run into something above our skill level and would recommend them to any friends, family or neighbors who need “handyman” services.

Cory did an excellent job of getting my faucet repaired; showed me how to replace my under sink water filter, so that I can do it the next time, and replaced a shower head. I was pleased to have the work done quickly (some other services have a 6 week wait time). But most of all, I’m pleased with the professional work, done at a good, fair price.

Kyle was professional, helpful, and easy to get a hold of for the booking process. Josiah did a fantastic job helping us with an installation project over a two day span. I will definitely use this company again.

Derek did great. He showed up right at 8am, worked through our list of odd and end repairs and saved us having to call out multiple specialists for plumbing and electrical work. Very pleased with all of the installs, drywall repair/paint, fixing our plumbing and also our smart home light switches. Best part is we were quoted a full day and he was done several hours early. Used in past for a door repair. This time was a long list to get house ready for market. Josiah worked his magic on each project turning our old house into sometging we are proud of. We will for sure call again in our new house.

I submitted an online inquiry request for a variety of outdoor projects and heard back in less than 2 days. The project manager, Kyle, that came to look at things for the proposal was prompt, efficient, and professional. We received a reasonable quote and when I told them we'd like to proceed with the work, they were able to fit us in within a week!

When the time came for the work to begin, the gentleman that came was very knowledgeable and capable, performing all of the work solo. He was able to perfectly bring to life a front door soffit pproject that my mom eenvisioned. 2 days'work for the soffit, power washing exterior of house, cleaning a gutter out, siding repair, and install of prehung service door - wow! I really can't say enough good things; thank you, Mr. Handyman!

We just bought our home and had several projects from a loose kitchen sink to stairs that were not stable. The first time we had Josiah out he began working on our kitchen sink problem. We had purchased ceiling fans and installation from a home improvement store that was being installed on that same day. The technician ran into an issue with installation of two of our fans on an angled ceiling, and he said he couldn't do anything with it and left us fanless. After the technician left, Josiah said he had a solution. After a lot of hard work, we now have perfectly operating fans. We just had Josiah out again today and we are extremely satisfied with his work. He is always willing to help us with any projects we have. We will be repeat customers of Mr. Handyman!

I used this company's services today and sadly I can't say that I would recommend them to anyone that I know. Overall, I am happy with the work that was performed. Thank you so much Josh! My front door looks so much better. Even though I wouldn't recommend the company, I would recommend the technician's work quality. The reason why I wouldn't recommend them is that I didn't like this interaction and would not want anyone I know to feel as if they were taken advantage of...I feel as if the way my project was handled lacked ethics.

It was originally quoted that my project would run from 8am-1pm. Since this is my first time using the company, I assumed that this was just the timeframe the work would be accomplished; not that they were expecting their technician to paint my door and sand 3 small areas of the door for 5 hours. I also didn't expect to be charged for time when the technician was not here. For example, he didn't get to my house until 8:45am but that was considered as on the clock? So making assumptions was my fault. I can admit that and it won't happen again.

Anyway I think the company could work on setting proper expectations, especially with new clients. Throwing on a materials charge without even telling me that during the phone consultation seems not right, even if it was an oversight. Then when I called about it and was told that they could remove the materials charge because the extra costs was not much to argue, this makes a person feel like you're saying they're being cheap. It's not only about money but about standing behind what you say and do. You know, integrity.

At the end of the day the response given does not negate my original contention: the paint job was dragged out for 5 hours just so you can make a buck on someone that you likely saw as gullible.

This company has real integrity. I will call on them again for certain!

We hired them to mud and tape our drywall in the kitchen and living room areas. Took 4 days, as only one individual was doing the work. After paying, my husband came home and looked over everything and it was clearly not finished and paint ready as we paid for. We had two drywall specific companies come out and take a look… they agreed it was no where near paint ready. It needed at least two additional coats of mud and all the seams needed to be floated more. You could see the tape, screws and most of the tapered joints that weren’t covered with enough mud. We ended up having a different company come out and redo/finish the drywall and it was a night and day difference. Mr Handyman did offer to send someone else out to finish the unfinished work; however, as paying customers we felt that if they couldn’t complete the job correctly the first time as it should have been, we weren’t going to have them come out a second time and take a chance that our time was wasted again. The first 4 Pictures included are of the work Mr Handyman did and the rest are what it looked like when finished correctly from a different company that we also paid half the cost with.

They repaired some wood rot on 2places on exterior . Very happy with the work . Done in great time. Very good technician, Shane. Honest and friendly. Also, professional. Would recommend.

All I can say is wow!!!! Tim did an outstanding job! Needed 3 tasks plumbing electrical and some gutter work. He went above and beyond, installed an outlet box and hung a fan, and fixed some. I paid a buddy with a 6 pack to fix my sink perfectly. Cleaned up after and left my daughter's room spotless. Great work I think I found a new handyman!!!

My wife called for a drywall estimate. He came out and did measurements and was told he would give it to her the next day. She called twice and left messages with no response. Very unprofessional. We would never recommend using this company.
