These guys are great! We needed AC for an office build, and I talked to a lot of HVAC companies. ECO responded quickly and got me on the schedule for a visit.The guy that came out to help us look at our options was the same guy who did the install. We got a 4 unit ductless for a great price. The team was polite and professional. The install is tidy and clean, and they did a great job cleaning up their mess when they were done. The unit works great, and our power bill has dropped since we don't have to use the window unit we'd been limping along with. I would definitely recommend ECO!

He solved two tricky problems. A slow draining bathtub that I was unable to snake myself, he determined that the snake was going the wrong direction, perhaps due to an incorrectly orientated fitting. And he was able to clear the blockage with some finesse. He also replaced a cartridge in the shower and fixed the unorthodox work from the contractor who remodeled the bathroom. The price was also great both relative to the time he spent and compared with the last plumber I used.

The two plumbers who visited, Roy and Peter, were first-rate in diagnosing three separate issues affecting the shower, and they also insulated my hot water heater with an insulation kit that I had previously ordered from Amazon and swapped out the whole-house pressure pump filter for me, as well turning on outdoor faucet fixtures for the season and letting me know what I needed to do to fix a leak in one of the connections.

The only reason this review is three stars and not five is because Guarini Plumbing charges for non-existent time that they do not actually spend on your job. They do let you know when you schedule that the cost will be $200 per hour, but what they never tell you upfront is that even if you have a half hour of time beyond that hour, they will charge you for another full hour, not the actual half an hour. So I was billed $400 for two hours, even though the two plumbers only spent an hour and a half at my residence.

To avoid this from happening to you, either insist on only being billed for time actually spent on your project upfront, not rounded up ... or if they are adamant about not changing what I consider to be an unethical policy and overlooking communication about it when scheduling, at least have 1-2 optional smaller maintenance jobs ready that Guarini plumbers can do for you with that remaining half hour, so at least you are getting your money's worth for your considerable investment.

The technician who helped me was professional, polite, and walked me through the water heater repair process from beginning to end. He did the job quickly and left zero clean up.

Only giving one start because it isn’t possible to give zero. Would not give an estimate ahead of time and assured they would give me a price before doing anything - and then after giving me a ludicrous price and me saying I wasn’t interested they demanded $45 for the ‘time’(it was 2 minutes). Would definitely stay away from this business if I was looking for any sort of plumbing help.
