It's not easy to get emergency service for a burst pipe on the first day of a school vacation week. But they returned my call within 30 minutes and were at my home within 90 minutes. They was able to make a quick emergency repair.They showed me how to prevent a repeat incident. They were very professional and courteous and I would definitely hire them again.

I recently had Eco Plumbing guys come over for re-routing a gas line for cooktop and re-installing sync, shut offs, garbage disposal and drain. I can not say enough good things about these guys all the way from the starting quote to finishing up. The Tech that came completed everything to perfection helped me work around some pretty tough issues. He was willing to stay until the job was done and in some cases stayed extra HOURS just to make sure everything worked out ok. I am a contractor myself and have not worked with a better group of plumbers.

They replaced our old gas water heater with an electric one some weeks back.  We were very impressed by their work and the men who did it.  Took all day, as it was a big job, but they cleaned up when done. No mess to clean up.  Everything  is working fine.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I would give them a higher than five-star rating if it was possible. Right from the moment when you call, until the completion of the job, everything was handled with utmost professionalism. Rates were affordable, and the serviceman was on schedule. He unclogged the sink, cleaned up, and left the place as he found it. A company of true professionals. Highly recommended.

Our kids room upstairs had cooling problems. The central AC was blowing cold air on the ground floor, but not upstairs. We needed the repair immediately. These guys answered the phone in the middle of the night and dispatched their specialists within an hour. They solved the problem in two hours. I am really glad I hired these guys. They are top professionals. A true 24/7 service.

What an awful experience trying to work with this company. The technicians blew off THREE different appointments for a site visit and consultation. Additionally, they never responded to my emails. Incredibly unprofessional and rude.

UPDATE - The below response from the owner is clearly nonsense. If you look at all of the responses to negative reviews they all say you might have called a different service. Nope. I did not call a different service. I called Eco Plumbing and Heating and spoke to Zach, Mo and Marc on three different occasions. All three made appointments with me and blew me off. Additionally, nobody ever responded to my intake form or my voice mail messages. TERRIBLE

My A/C stopped making cold air. Called this company and they replied very quickly (within 30 minutes).They visited my home the same day and checked the A/C. While everything looks good, they suspected that it's a breaker's issue. They helped me to reset the breaker, and the A/C worked for a while.
However, the breaker jumped again after about 10 minutes. So I sent a message and they helped me to replace the old breaker. So far it has been a week and the A/C works properly. I am pleased that they replied me and solved the problem in the same day.

Our central heating was faltering and needed a repair. These guys were the quickest to set an appointment and reach our home. They figured out the problem and had a replacement part in their van. Excellent service.

Avoid this company at all costs. DO NOT TRUST good reviews on Maps. Check Yelp & other sites & view all the horrible, honest reviews. They will try to milk you out of every dime u have. A repair tech Moe Janoi repaired my kitchen faucet for $550 & told me the Moen faucet cost $340. He is a liar. I checked the price of the faucet online & it's $135. When I called to complain, I was told that they deliberately don't provide receipts & invoices that show the prices of equipment they use. This means they can tell the customer any high price they want & the customer has no evidence to dispute the charge. They get equipment from a warehouse & charge the customer more than double the price. That's called FRAUD. I checked 3 other plumbers who would've charged me $250 or less for the entire job. They will rip u off & act like they're doing u a favor! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! My advice is that u find out the price of any major item B4 u talk to the repair tech so u can catch him lying or just avoid this place

Check all bad reviews on Maps & the response from the company always says it must be some other company or it's a fake review. I'm referring to the Eco Plumbing for Jersey City. NJ, to eliminate the confusion.

I suspected the old furnace in my new (old) house was in bad shape, and was able to arrange an inspection quickly. The inspector confirmed my suspicions, explained furnace efficiency issues, and tried to soften the blow of the upcoming expense of a new furnace. The new furnace cost less to install than I had feared, I can't believe how quiet the new heating system is, and now my house is warm and cozy! Everyone I talked to with this company was friendly and helpful, too. Great people to work with!

My toilet broke two days ago and I reached out to several plumbers, looking for a good price because this was a simple fix and I just don't have the tools or experience.

Not only did I get a great price, but the service was top notch and the person that worked with me was VERY reasonable and trustworthy.

These guys are great and very reliable. I had to call them in an emergency during the night and explained the whole situation. Moe was on the phone and he suggested that he can send a camera inspection guy early in the morning if I can wait. I agreed and that plumber was at our door at 7 AM. He identified the problem and fixed it. Can't thank them enough. Great service.

These guys are great! We needed AC for an office build, and I talked to a lot of HVAC companies. ECO responded quickly and got me on the schedule for a visit.The guy that came out to help us look at our options was the same guy who did the install. We got a 4 unit ductless for a great price. The team was polite and professional. The install is tidy and clean, and they did a great job cleaning up their mess when they were done. The unit works great, and our power bill has dropped since we don't have to use the window unit we'd been limping along with. I would definitely recommend ECO!

Eco Plumbing Heating delivered excellent service, and are truly 24 hours. Called them at 10 p.m. arrived exactly when they said they would. Mo, the technician was a true professional and clearly an expert. He diagnosed the problem effectively and complete the whole job within 30 mins. I recommend this service to any and everyone.

They fixed the problem w/ out having to replace Disposal unit. The Tech showed me how to declog the machine moving forward. And he lives in my neighborhood. I'm happy to have found him and his company.

I called on a Friday for a tenant not having heat, they came and said the thermostat was messed up and it needed to be replaced. Said it will cost about $300. I said okay fix it. The next day the tenant calls saying no one came to fix it, the repair man just left saying I'll come on Saturday at 10am. But no one showed up, I called the dispatcher and he said the job was very serious and needed a expert who will come on a sunday to take a look, at this point I'm thinking what about the thermostat? Anywho someone comes on the Sunday and plays around with the system and tells the tenants the water pump is broken and needs to be replaced and it can only be found in California, it will take 2 weeks. The repair man leaves and the hot water tank starts leaking and now the tenants don't have hot water. I called them but they did not pick up. I call Monday morning and the dispatcher picks up, I told him the problem and he was quiet and goes it going to cost you 1800$ for changing the water pump and that's the problem, I ask him about the thermostat and he was clueless goes that's messed up to okay that too. I say the hot water tank is leaking and there's no hot water and then he goes let me talk to my plumber. Calls me 2 minutes later saying he did not touch it and that's their fault. However he bled the pipes and my tenants specifically asked if bleeding the water will effect the hot water and he said no. Also on the phone he kept saying we didnt charge you for coming, that's because you had a guilty conscience. You went to fix the heat and messed up the hot water as well.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
These people are a scam and all these reviews are fake.

Had an appointment for the morning and called at 12:30 when nobody showed up. They said they would send someone at 3, but nobody came at that time either. Really disappointing since the other reviews seem so positive.

Our bathroom drain-top was corroded to the point that it started breaking into small chunks. It was ugly, to say the least. Eco Plumbing came to the rescue. Their plumber replaced it quickly without any problem. Very professional and honest plumbers. These guys are now my go-to plumbers.

Even went above and beyond and replaced an additional drain pipe at no charge.

Experience was great, had the plumbing lateral from the house to the city connection replaced. Quick, professional, fairly priced, and did a great job keeping the front yard clean and put it back in great condition. The Plumber did a great job explaining the process and work timeline.

Getting a new water heater is a tricky business. You are riddled with so many options and variations that it is difficult to choose. We also needed an installation so we decided to leave the decision on the contractors. These guys gave us an affordable quote and helped us choose a great unit. The installation went smoothly. They are brilliant. Great service.

Had an emergency where my heater stopped working mid winter. As a new homeowner, i blindly called around on a Saturday morning and they were able to come over within two hours. Didn't fully diagnose the issue immediately, but attempted a simple fix and then came back two days later (at 7pm on a Monday) when I called to report ongoing issues. Also, only charged me for the final fix, not the intermediate attempt which was nice. Seems fair, knowledgeable, and available and will be using them again.

We hired them to clean our ducts and fix our central air. The work was done quickly, correctly, and with the utmost degree of professionalism. I will be calling them whenever I have HVAC issues and I highly recommend that you do too.

Moe was great! We called earlier in the year and he kept our safety a priority (as we suspected that the water heater was leaking gas) and insisted we call PSE&G right away. When we had an issue with the furnace a couple of weeks ago, he answered the phone at 7am and was there at 8. He was incredibly professional, helped us to explore all options, and fixed it within 30 min. Highly recommend Eco Plumbing!

Called for EMERGENCY replacement of a leaking water heater on a 3rd floor condo. Water damage to downstairs unit. Took 3 days to do a one day job to replace a water heater. First day, came late to an emergency call, ordered wrong water heater ( had to pay tenant hotel night) Day two: came mid day set new heater, solder, filled water and than realized venting connection was 4 inch pieces and didn’t have parts. Day 3 finished the job. A $3000 job without warning charged $4000 for extra day and parts without informing me first. As well, my tenant asked to put down tarp where they were working bc there was carpeting in bedroom where heater was. Never followed and I asked if they were going to clean stained carpets and he said it was already “dirty” and with a big attitude. He gave me a call later saying he will come back later to clean carpet. When the carpets were cleaned I than paid the $4000. Just a FYI...I’m an electrician as well as my tenant and his work (craft) was sub par. He did not set heater center to room, pipes were not leveled and sweating (soldering was messy) but it is was it is.

This is why I posted this poor remark. The tenant downstairs called me about 2 months later saying there is loud sounds coming from my water heater room. He heard it weeks prior but did not call me. I checked it out and whenever shower, faucet and toilet are used there is a louder sound coming from the water heater especially near the vent duct. I called ECO and told dispatcher 2 month water heater installed by his guys is making loud sounds. It has to be an issue if the downstairs neighbor is complaining of loud noises whenever water is used. Made an appointment but my tenant had to cancel so I called to reschedule and called 5 times and left 2 messages in one day and they never got back to me. STILL til this day no return call!! Still waiting 😴😴😴

I won’t use names but dispatcher still hasn’t returned my call to check out a 2 month old water heater they installed. I will know have to get a new hvac company to check out his company’s hack workmanship and horrible customer service. This was worse experience dealing with any kind of contractor especially when I come from the trades and deal with them all the time.
If they would have just returned my calls and check out their work, I would have never posted this poor evaluation.

Bunch of liars and crooks with fake reviews. Beware of these guys. Tried to tell me that it would cost $2500 to fix the system. Luckily I found another company and they told me there was only a minor issue that cost me $80 only. When I called them back they started yelling and abusing me

Eco is genuinely an astonishing HVAC company. Been utilizing them for many years now. They generally go above and beyond with their skills, administration, and client support. I called them today, as we are in a difficult cold wave. They had been super incredible to service my rental home, as my occupant has medical problems. I can't say enough how thankful I am for their brief help under these conditions. My technician and the rest of the team are 10 STARS as I would see it. Much thanks once more!
