Last weekend we had a problem with the stove. He was kind enough to help me solve some basic problems over the phone on Saturday. When that didn't work, we agreed that I needed him to take a look. He assured us that the stove would be in order by the weekend, and we agreed that he would come on Monday. He approached, was on time and did not close the lines of communication until his arrival. When he was here he gave an honest assessment of the problem and was able to fix my oven. He was extremely professional, helpful, friendly and gave us great advice. He is a local businessman who cares about the client and it is clear that he wanted to do his job the best he could. He delivered and then some. Jim Hodges is not competent, unqualified, not hones and not responsible. He torn down our hose but did not find the leak, took $2K and left us without hot water and walked off the job.

I had a great experience working with the company and their team to replace our boiler and radiators with a forced air system. His team had to figure out how to fit the stove, plumbing and air ducts into a very small space in our 100 year old building. They were incredibly professional, informative and efficient. They went beyond the scope of work and never caused any concern. I highly recommend them.

Robert created a proposal for replacing my old heating system with a combination heating and air conditioning system. He explained everything clearly which enabled me to firm up on the specifics of the system I want installed. I am now waiting for two other companies to submit proposals before I make a decision. So far the only thing I can base a review of Kalka on is my experience with Robert which is clearly 5 stars.
