Honest! That is what I want from a vendor.
About 8 years ago, they fixed my AC unit by just replacing a board in the unit, and it was only an hour of labor, and the part cost. Don't recall the amount, but it was not expensive.
Had a similar problem today (AC stopped working), and they came out right away, found a frayed wire outside, and had it fixed in five minutes.
If you want an honest, smart vendor - I feel Just Right is unbeatable.

Robert came out today and did the A/C and Heater maintenance at our house. He called in advance to let me know when he would get here. He arrived on time and was very friendly. He was very professional. He was very, very knowledgeable in his HVAC work. I give him an A plus.
Just Right Services was referred to me by my colleague. I just sign the contract to replace my HVAC system with them. Chris was amazing once again! They are so great at keeping our A/C and heating systems running smoothly and efficiently!
Called Drew in for second opinion on a 4-ton rooftop A/C that another supplier said was beyond economic repair and needed to be replaced (over $10K with crane, etc). Drew repaired a Freon leak, and provided a 3-year no-leak warranty for less than 1/10th of the replacement cost. He also cleared up a problem in another A/C in the building at no charge. Just Right Services is our choice for future work.

I met with Mitch initially because our house was always cold no matter how high the heat was turned up. We had an old furnace.
Mitch listened really well to my concerns and came up with a great solution.
The new products they put in have been working extremely well. I'm super satisfied!

I found out from my next door neighbor, only after Just Right Services had completed everything on my house, that they had also used JRS about a year ago, needing new equipment as well, and my neighbor has been extremely satisfied with JRS. Apparently, the utility bills have gone down a good amount since the new installation for my neighbor so I'm really excited to see that on my end!
The employees were always very respectful of my house, to the point where they wore shoe/foot covers every time they were going to walk on the carpet. It's a small thing maybe, but it's a huge deal for me. I really appreciated that!

When I called Just Right this morning I figured they'd have someone out to my home in two or three days. Much to my surprise, the friendly woman on the phone said she could have Rober out between one and three this afternoon. Sure enough, he showed up closer to one than three, even phoning me enroute. Not only did he install my garbage disposal but showed me a pipe under the sink that was starting to drip. He went to Home Depot, got the parts and replaced the pipes. Robert was not only an excellent plumber, but friendly. He also explained exactly what he was going to do. Around an hour later, the garbage disposal was in and the leaking pipes were replaced. I'd call on these guys anytime.

This company is very professional and knowledgeable. So I have a hydronic HVAC system and no company could help me with my issues. So if valve is turned one way then I have heater but no hot water, need to turn on heater for hot water. If turned the other way, there is hot water but heater blows cool air like a fan. So Just Right was able to diagnose the situation immediately and my technician Nico was very professional and clean and got it done in less than one hour. Turns out the older water heater had a built in check valve and Nico had to install a check valve and hose spigot bib. Very professionally done and very proper job. I give this company 5 stars!!! Don’t waste your time if you have a hydronic system. This company is your one stop solution. Thanks Nico… you are a blessing. I have hot water again and not waste energy and resources and no more cold showers.

Scheduled a repair for my water heater between 9 and 10 AM. Next morning dispatcher let me know that the plumber would arrive closer to 10 and would notify me 20-30 minutes before arriving. Plumber Mitchel Hanes arrived on time, was polite and professional. Performed the needed replacement of my thermocouple and was on his way. Everything went exactly as expected. Would definitely use again.

My A/C stopped working Tuesday night so I called Just Right Services since I had used them to fix my heater in February. First available appointment wasn’t til next Tuesday due to the excessive heat/demand. They put me on a waiting list in case there was a cancellation. And they DID call me yesterday telling me they could send someone out today between 2-4pm. Leo arrived just after 2pm, and after trouble shooting for about 20 minutes he was able to fix it! Leo took the time to explain everything to me. He is a REAL stand-up guy with a GREAT work ethic, and I would recommend him and Just Right Services to everyone!

I had a pipe that burst in my condo. I called a few companies before Just Right Services but no other company was able to send someone. When I called Just Right Services, Drew was very accommodating and professional. He squeezed me into his already busy schedule and was able to put a temporary patch in place until he can come back. I would definitely use their services again
These guys came out last year to check on a drainage issue. Took them multiple trips over 2 weeks to figure out what was wrong but gave them the benefit of the doubt and left a good review when the issue was finally resolved.
Last week, I started hearing a squealing noise coming from the HVAC in my attic. I knew 105 degree heat in Irvine was coming Labor Day weekend so I called these guys since we have history. The first available appointment was a week and a half later on the Friday before Labor Day weekend. I told them that's fine as long as I get the issue taken care of before the heatwave on the weekend. They came out Friday morning, looked for 10 minutes and then told me everything was great, no problems. Charged me an $89 inspection fee and left. Of course, the one thing I did not want to happen, happened. My AC stopped cooling the next day. Had to send my wife, mother-in-law, 4 year old and 10 month old to a hotel. Took me an hour trying to find a hotel in the area that had any rooms available since it was a holiday weekend. Finally found one in Anaheim and paid crazy holiday prices. Did not want to send my kids to a hotel during COVID but had no choice. I stayed behind in the hot house because the hotel room I finally found only slept 4. When I called Just Right, they said they were all booked and couldn't come back out. Did my best to plan ahead of the heat wave and still did no good. Last time I give anyone a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th chance.

Had an urgent need to replace a condenser that had a catastrophic failure. By the time I was aware of the situation it was already 7 pm. The gentleman (Drew) that I spoke with was very helpful and although we could not secure a condenser at that hour he was willing to come out with fan blades to make an attempt to find a temporary fix. I had a pleasant experience dealing with Just Right Services in fixing my home HVAC problem. They responded right away and Nicholas (Nick), the technician did a great job troubleshooting the problem and explained clearly the issues and solution. At the same time he was able to go out and get the correct replacement blower motor and repaired a refrigerant leak in the compressor. I called Drew the same night after the service and told him how much I appreciated Mitch's installation of my air conditioner and heating system. They were very professional and friendly. Their prices were the lowest in this neighborhood. Good job.
This all started back in September when my AC unit started draining onto my patio. A technician from the company came out and determined the AC drain line was clogged. In the process of clearing the drain, he caused massive amount of gunk to spew out of my bathroom sink and all over the bathroom bc he didn’t seal the valve. He did clean up the mess and give me a minor discount. On his way out, he manages to leave a full size 8 foot ladder in my closet. I had to call the company and no one was aware the ladder was missing.
After seeing all kinds of things spew out of my bathroom sink, my sink was now super slow to drain, like it took days to drain completely. My sink was slow to drain previously but would do so in a minute or two. Of course I associated the two events bc they happened one after another. After some back and forth with the company reps, no one could articulate to me why the two events were not related. They finally decide to send someone out. This guy came out charging, deflecting blame immediately but again, did not have the articulation skills to explain to me why these events were unrelated. After he opened up the pipes, it was clear to me that in the process of clearing the AC drain line, it pushed the gunk passed bend in the pipe to the flat section, basically only allowing water to seep thru. At this point, I was done! I just paid the guy so that I wouldn’t have to deal with another appointment and missed worked hours. My feedback for that technician was that he didn’t seemed able to handle the snake very well, as demonstrated by the dent he left on my bathroom wall.
I was going to let it all go and just send only good energy out to the world when I got a bill for 150 from my HOA this week. I called the owner to see if he was willing to settle it but he was so adamant that it was due to illegal piping in the walls of my condo HOA in Irvine. At this point, I have very little choice to settle the bill on my own, as interest will start to accrue and it associated with my unit.
Because I fairly paid for my services, I thought the least I could do is leave an honest review
1) under qualified/inattentive/not articulate employees
2) overpriced
3) never received a single email receipt for the work, even though both technicians said they would send me an email
Not to sound corny, but Just Right is Just Perfect in my book! At 10:30 this morning my wife noticed there was a big leak along the side of our garage. Turns out our water heater was rusted out on the bottom and had cracked causing water to be leaking out of it. I called Just Right and explained the situation and they told me they were able to get a technician scheduled to be at our house between 2 & 4pm.
Our technician Nick called me in advance confirming he would arrive at 2pm. As soon as he showed up and saw the issue he assessed the situation and gave me a very reasonable quote To replace our 30 year old unit. Nick ran out to get what he needed to complete the job and by 5:15 we had hot water running through our pipes.
Nick did an amazing job and was a true professional. On top of the great job he did, he was extremely friendly and a pleasure to chat with while he was doing the job.

My sister referred me to Just Right Services who she called to do some maintenance at her house in Mission Viejo. The owner Drew is awesome. I needed a new AC and heat pump. He explained everything about how different levels of air conditioners work and how some are more efficient than others. In the end, my unit could only use one kind of air conditioner due to the heat pump I needed but it was very educational.
The install was delayed a little due to the wrong heat pump being delivered but his company sorted it all out as quickly as possible. Mitch did the installation for me without any issues. There was a hole left behind but Drew came out to patch it up.
Whenever I had a question or problem, Drew responded right away to my email. I have called emailed him several times since the install. He gladly came out to check that the system is in perfect working condition himself or sent Mitch to check it out. In fact, Drew came out to check on my system personally when I was concerned the heater was not working well in January.
More recently, I had mold on my wall and was concerned of a leak in my refrigerant line and Mitch came to check for any issues. He checked everything and explained all that he found out from running tests and checking in my attic. Drew also came out when all the work done to make sure that all was well.
This is a company I am glad I chose for my AC and would choose them again if I need a new AC in the future.
UPDATE: I just had Just Right Services come out to replace the faucet handles for my tub shower along with the leaky stem valves. Robert did a great job and taught me how to do it correctly if I ever decide to try it on my own in the future.

The diagnosis was good, but the quote for replacement was kind of high. I’m still thinking about it though.
They had their technician next day as promised. They came in the promised time slot. He opened our AC unit & found the exact problem & explained it me in detail. I appreciate their professional uniforms, face masks, care in & around the property & professional attitude. Of course our AC is up & running with relief and thanks from my family.

The technician came out on time as promised. However without assessing the problem and actually checking first the whole story of the problem he suggests right away to change the whole water heater because he says the model is not being sold anymore in the market ( whirlpool) 2nd the price is ridiculous. $2700 to replace a 50 gallon water heater? Now when I asked about just fixing the problem which is the burner and pilot, the amount is the ridiculously insane. $1500 for parts and labor.

Amazing experience. I have a hydronic AC system that not many company could service & an AC guy referred by my building only pushing me to buy a new system without taking a look at it. Desperate, I went ahead started calling HVAC companies and stumbled into Just Right Service.
From the phone conversation with a receptionist to ask questions and make appointment to getting my AC fixed, I was amazed by how professional and knowledgeable they are. Great Experience! We called them on Monday because our old AC system stopped working. The next day we had a new system installed. Everyone else we contacted wouldn't even come out to give us an estimate until several days later.

On Saturday, June 11, 2016, I had flooding from a pipe from my upstairs neighbor in my new condo. I had just moved in a week prior. The water spread quickly. I wasn't able to find anyone to come out until contacting Just Right Services. Drew fit me in his schedule and was able to pressure check neighbor's lines and remedy the problem quickly. He put a patch in place and came back a couple of days later and repaired the problem. He also evaluated my lines to see if he thought those needed replacing. He didn't think mine needed to be replaced. I trust his advice and he did great work. I will definitely use their services again.
The staff, James on the phone is courteous, detail oriented and asked all the needed questions to prepare for the air conditioning service appointment we need. The appointment was made within few minutes and a confirmation text message arrived before I hang up the phone.
On the appointment day, the technician Leo, arrived on time, and explain the service procedures thoroughly, he not only solved the capacitor problem we have and also provide possible maintenance awareness we need to pay attention for, in order to keep the unit working smoothly without unnecessary breakdowns.
Overall, this is a great experience with Just Right Services, and we truly appreciate company like them who provide caring and high quality services. Thank you very much.
Just Right Services originally installed a new HVAC system three years ago and it has worked perfectly until this last weekend when the AC wasn’t cold. Chris diagnosed the problem immediately and made some quick repairs. No charge as the unit was still under warranty. I couldn’t ask for better products or services from Just Right! Called a few companies from San Clemente to Anaheim and received quotes on new units left and right while had my brother who understands some basic A/C maintenance to take a look while he's vacationing nearby. Just Right Services was the only one that actually fixed it (same suggestion as my brother) while all others suggest to replace the unit. They turn what could have been a $6000 work into less than $1000 expense. I would recommend Just Right to anyone with A/C issues.

Yelp semi-automatically sent to several of AC services when I was looking for a right guy to fix my AC problem. But there is only one that responded quick and with courtesy - that is Just Right Services from Laguna Beach.
A service guy William did the excellent job and explained every details I asked. That was a real professional work and attitude. I don't know the price was right, but it doesn't matter as long as the work is complete with my satisfaction. Thank you for the work done.
Drew answered my call in less than 10 minutes after I left a message. He gave me a tentative time slot on the same day service (Aug 17) and a solid time for the next day first thing in the morning. Mitch, the technician, came that afternoon on the tentative slot given to me. He introduced himself, then went about the business of diagnosing and fixing what was wrong with our central home air-conditioner. He explained all that he found wrong and what he did to remedy each problem. (The previous AC contractor did a poor job as I had suspected). Now the AC is humming perfectly, cooling the home as expected. Mitch was good, thoroughly professional, warmly friendly. We just had a hot water slab leak (flood) and we were amazed at the fast response time, spot on estimate;looking at all options with written estimates on all options, and attention to detail. Absolutely wonderful company to work with. I put an all call out to all our friends asking if someone knew someone who did Air Conditioning as it was 102 outside and our air died. Many replied with don't use options but one friend passed on the name Just Right Service. We called and the next day Drew was out to fix our air conditioning. Sadly after 20 years it was shot......but Drew moved quickly to get us a new system and it was installed the next day. Mitch did an awesome job with the installation in an attic that was about 110-120 degrees! Other companies said they couldn't get to us for 1 to 2 weeks!!!! I will use Just Right for any needs we have in our house from here on. After a long day, Mitch even stayed and programmed the new Nest thermostat for us. I wish I knew the names of the other 2 guys that helped as they were a great team!

We called for service for our heating unit. They came out advised we should replace the entire unit. We agreed and had a new heating unit installed. The service was professional and good. The first winter the unit stopped working. We called and they came out identified the problem and replaced the part under warranty. We only use heat a couple months a year. This winter it broke again we scheduled an appointment they came out identified the problem and said they would order the part. At this point I’m started to have regret. Our previous unit worked flawlessly for my entire life. Now I know they don’t make things like they used to but this feels bad. After a couple weeks the part came in. They called and said part came in and scheduled appt. Monday came they called to confirm appt and said tech will be out tomorrow and this is your Bill amount. Feeling frustrated and losing trust and regretting my decision of replacing unit and not getting second opinions I left a review with my feeling. The owner followed up and looked into my account. He was able to discover that manufacture has had issues with these new units recent changes in gov regulations. He was able to put in a order to the manufacturer. I was really happy with the customer service and the kind response from Just Right Service. They showed that they care and will make things right.

Responded to a weekend call arriving within a few hours, trouble shooting A/C problem with in minutes but still took the time to run a comprehensive diagnostic set of tests to make sure nothing else was wrong. Excellent service very reasonable price.

I had a new furnace installed on June 24th. Mitch and Chris were the 2 installers. They did a terrific job from start to finish. They were very professional and polite throughout the installation. I couldn’t be more pleased. The only glitch was the thermostat placement. The old thermostat concealed a hole in the wall that made placement of the new thermostat unsightly. I contacted Nick, my sales representative who came back to the house 2 days later to move the thermostat to a new wall. Without a doubt excellent customer service! The entire team gets my highest recommendation.
Had to have our HVAC compressor disconnected in order to gain access to our backyard.
The first appointment was last week to disconnect and today Leo came back out to re-connect the Compressor.

He was on time, polite and professional.
After the reconnect, Leo waited around to make sure our system was back up and running.

Our A/C was under performing and we decided to call Just Right to schedule a service visit and we're happy we did. Right from the start the process was easy and professional. I scheduled a service visit and I was told that Nick the technician would call 20 minutes before arriving for the visit. On the day of the service visit, Nick called about 40 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and mentioned that he was running a bit ahead of schedule. I told him there was no need to wait for the scheduled start time and he arrived in about 15 minutes. Nick was courteous and very knowledgeable. He asked a few questions about the symptoms and within a couple of minutes he discovered that our system had a small leak and was low on refrigerant. Both of these issues were addressed in the next 15 minutes and I was very satisfied with the visit and won't hesitate to reach out to them in the future.

My condo unit has a specific HVAC system that not all companies know how to service. One of my neighbors had used Just Right Services in the past and recommended them because they employ HVAC and plumbers so you don't have to call out more than one company out to address your problem. I requested an appointment via their website and got a phone call. I had to call Jared back because I was at work when he called. He patiently listened to my heating woes and brief history on how it all started. He knew my specific system type from the description I gave. He said he could have someone out the same day but I requested an appointment the following Monday morning due to scheduling. The diagnostic fee was $95 to go towards repair, if we decided to move forward.
My husband met with Leo and gave him the lowdown while I was at work. Leo figured out the issue and said a few parts needed to be replaced. Thanks to hard water which is prevalent, we had some calcified pipes. Thankfully, we didn't have to replace the entire system. My husband wanted to discuss it with me first before moving forward. I got an estimate in my email with the details on what needed to be replaced. It was reasonable and I was ready to move forward. Mind you, we have been without heat since the start of winter and powered through with small space heaters and wearing layers. I called JRS and they had Leo call me back to discuss what was needed. He gave me a thorough explanation and let me know I could choose to do 1 or 2 of the 3 items that needed replacing but I went ahead to schedule an appointment to get all 3 items replaced. We scheduled for the following day for the same time period. However, due to a rainy day delay, JRS had to reschedule our appointment.
The day of the appointment arrived and two technicians showed up to deal with our issue. The parts were replaced and our system was up and running. Our heater is now heating the house and I'm happy with JRS and their service. Thanks JRS for getting our heat back up! I recommend you call JRS if you have a plumbing or HVAC issue.

I’ve used them a few times for plumbing issues in our main bathroom. Each time they’ve been responsive even with busy schedules, show up on time, and clean up afterwards. James in the office is very helpful as well.
We have 10 houses, Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly, and we only like to use 1 of each type of trade professional for our homes. With the age and condition of the people in our care, it is critical that our comfort systems are working properly. We only use Just Right Services because they more than fill every need we have in an HVAC contractor. They are professional, friendly, informative, knowledgeable, very reasonably priced and responsive. Drew is as nice as they come, as is Mitch, and they know their stuff like nobody's business. Couldn't have had a better experience!! About a year ago Just Right Services did some duct work to get better air flow into other rooms. This summer I noticed it wasn't working as well as it should. Since I couldn't find the paper work, I was sure they wouldn't do anything about it. But, Nick came out, adjusted some vents and it's working great. Great company to do business with. They try to send the same technician every time, so you are always dealing with the same person. And about the paper work; they have all your records on their phones.

Great company. We had 3 quotes & Just Right was exactly that Just Right. Drew, the owner was professional & honest. He explained things so that we understood what we had was nad & what we needed would definitely help. The crew for the install (Chris, Mario & Mitch) were excellent. They knew there stuff, were very professional and very clean.
I selected this company to address a water leak based on the hundreds of 5-star reviews in Yelp as well as the associated positive comments. This initial criteria for selection proved to be true as the technician arrived timely, dressed professionally, and most importantly repaired the leak, being patient to explain the situation and his assessment of the repair as his diagnosis progressed.
Much to my surprise the owner of the company, Drew Haynes, was talking to the technician and requested to speak directly to me. After introducing himself, I realized the owner was also the same individual who installed an entire AC and heater unit along with all new duct work......that install was accomplished in circa 2009 and the unit is working great to this day! I was surprised and happy the owner recognized my name as I now have a company to call for all my AC / heating / and plumbing needs in the future. I've used Just Right Services many times for plumbing and HVAC and they always impress. Mike came today for my plumbing problem and cleared up the drain very quickly plus gave me some great tips for preventing clogs in the future. I highly recommend.

William was terrific! He fixed the A/C in our office building and presented a plan for moving forward with our HVAC system.
Leo was an excellent technician. He was on time and professional. I had questions about the uneven air flow distribution and he was able to fix the issue in a timely manner. I also had other questions and he provided honest and practical feedback. He took his time diagnosing and explaining the issue. Everything was of top standard when our tech Nicholas H. made first contact during our appointment along with a plumbing tech (forgive me I forgot his name). They took the time to look at our A/C unit and listen to what issues we were experiencing. They were courteous, knowledgeable, efficient with the work, and were able to find the source of the problem when the first company we hired did not. Great first impression and we will use them again in the future!

Just Right Services installed a heat pump water heater for me as I was switching out all my gas appliances for electric. After they turned off the gas, I realized I had forgotten that I had gas heat. Mitch was so amazing explaining the options for replacing that as well. They came back to install a heat pump which would serve as both my heating and air conditioning system. In the process, several other things came up and they went above and beyond to just take care of whatever I needed, even a few other things that had nothing to do with the water heater or heating/cooling. Absolutely amazing service. Thank you Just Right Services!

Just Right Services recently installed a new A/C in our son's condo. From Drew first visit to all the employees who worked on the project, we have only great things to say. They met their quote, did a fantastic job, and were always courteous and professional. Once done, they left the place clean which we appreciated. Because of the trust and job satisfaction, we decided to hire Just Right Services again, to install a new A/C and Water Heater in our house. I highly recommend them.
Good luck with Just Wrong Services. You Just might freeze to death before they fit you into their schedule.
