I was fairly pleased. The initial cost was reasonable, $195 to replace a faucet (I supplied the actual faucet). They found that there were 2 valves for the hot and cold water that were frozen and needed to be replaced. They charged me $280 for that, and that seemed pretty expensive. It only took him about 30-minutes to switch out both valves, and assuming the valves cost less than $20 each, then that's a rate of $480 an hour for labor.

Island Plumbing did a great job. They came to our rescue when our other plumber got sick and we needed to have work done so that we could close up a wall. We would give them six stars if possible. In addition doing good work they are responsive and communicative. Not only did they move hot and cold water line, a drain line and a gas line in a laundry room for us. We had them come back and do some extra work to the main incoming line to give us peace of mind. We will be using Island plumbing from now on.

A few months back we had an emergency back-up in our main line. Disgusting water was backing up out of our toilets and into our downstairs tub. A friend referred us to Michael who is the owner of Duggan Plumbing and Rooter Service and we could not have been more relieved. Owner Dave was cordial at first towards a repipe (probably because HOA paid the tab). During the repiping process, his workers were late + smoked in my garage, spilled coffee all my fridge, and damaged my belongings in the garage. I informed him of these issues as any homeowners would and instead of apologizing, he rudely questions me for messaging him. This guy is a joke and can't man up to mistakes. Furthermore, he sent an invoice for a water heater move and then declines a few days later stating its bad karma.

My wife called for an ASAP appointment and John arrived within 30 minutes. The clogged shower drain was cleared in a very short time. He was polite, professional, explained the problem to my wife and cleaned the shower before leaving. Would highly recommend Brothers Plumbing and important that they are a local business.
