My plumber on another job so recommended Shoreline Plumbing. Plumber answered my plea to come quickly to hook up water line for new fridge. He was on his way elsewhere but, returned to my neighborhood to help when delivery crew refused to wait 5 minutes leaving my old fridge & new fridge in dining rooms. John performed hookup efficiently as well as calm conversation while the fridge handles etc. were attached. He entered as plumber and left a hero in my book. Plumber was personable, professional, patient, competent & friendly—going beyond the call to assure reasonable return to a workable kitchen functioning. I hired Handy Andy to fix the drywall for a customer of ours. We replaced the AC system for this VIP client, and hired Handy Andy to repair the drywall in the places we had to cut in to replace the ACs. Rance and Dee came late on a Sunday to help us. They were very knowledgeable and had great customer service.

Last year (2013) my wife and I went to Home Depot to have our two bathrooms remodeled. We signed contract in June and work could not start until building permits were obtained. Work began in September and lasted until January (we had to be home a total of 30 days for the work). This was due to: materials not being sent on time, materials had to be re-ordered because of damage in transit to our home and numerous scheduling conflicts. Contractors included Kitchen & Bath Remodeling, Commercial Plumbing, Clifford Okinaga, and EMK electrical. During this extended installation piles of materials were stacked on our front Lanai and one of our spare bedrooms. Workers did not use drop cloths and did not clean up after they finished work. To top it off, the upstairs shower leaked because the drain was broken during installation which required repair work that extended the installation time. To add insult to injury, someone from Home Depot is calling to say that we still owe them for the project even though have emailed to them that I have paid for every thing.

I will never step into a Home Depot again and my wife and I are telling our friends and relatives to never use Home Depot for their remodeling.
