We had them come out on Monday, November 16th. They sent a man named Robert Camp, who gave us a $900 estimate for some work related to a bathroom remodel. We were told we were put on the schedule for Wednesday, November 18th, 2020, which was 2 days later. On Tuesday, the next day, and a day early and completely unannounced, someone else named Chris from Atlantis came out and immediately announced that the actual cost was going to be $2200 (a $1300 and 144% increase over their estimate).When I asked him what was the cause of the cost increase, Chris said that the first estimate was clearly done by someone who didn't know what he was doing. He used the term handy Andy over and over again to imply that the person who did the estimate clearly didn't understand plumbing at Chris's arcane, expert level. He also said if I could find someone to do the work for the original estimate that I should rip his arm off because it was such a ridiculously low price. When I pointed out that the person who gave the estimate was Robert Camp, who works at Atlantis and has literally dozens of reviews singing his praises online, Chris said well, I have a job down the street anyway, I don't need this work, and he just physically walked out of the house. We called Atlantis to see what was up, and they confirmed that we were on the schedule for Wednesday, which, and it was all good. They didn't know why this guy came a day early, and didn't even really seem to know who the hell he was.The time they were supposed to come on Wednesday came and went with nobody showing. We called Atlantis, and they were now incredibly rude with us. When we asked if someone was still coming out, they told us that the person who was supposed to come out was where he was supposed to be, whatever the hell that's supposed to mean. Keep in mind this was after the window of time that the person was supposed to show had ended. They also told us that they would be unable to honor their original estimate, and if we wanted the work done, it was going to be $1800 now. When we asked the reason for the change, they just said a bunch of nonsense.These people are rude and incompetent thieves who do not honor their commitments. Look elsewhere.
