Writing because I just had my second great experience with Zippy Plumber. Several months ago they did a full re-route of my basement Plumbing. Today it was just a minor sink leak. I had a problem with a busted outdoor pipe and a nonfunctioning garbage disposal. I called Zippy, and within hours Matt and his team came to help. Matt was very professional and timely in his response to our emergency. Given how difficult it has been for businesses to retain employees during COVID, etc and knowing how in demand Zippy is in our community we were surprised at how quickly they responded and were able to get out here to diagnose and fix the problem with a lifetime guarantee. When it came time for the invoice Matt was very fair for his time and effort. Almost to fair and we offered more but he declined and would not accept it.

Oh, did I mention, that this was a Sunday? Not to often in our experience will the owner actually come do a house call, especially on a Sunday.

We have been using Zippy's since we bought our house as they are always easy to work with, knowledgeable, and will to come when needed. We trust Zippy and that's hard to find these days.

Lastly, we do know that being in high demand and dealing with bandwidth constraints means that sometimes customers may not have our experience, however, I think all small businesses are going through some of this and it shouldn't reflect poorly on any business.

I called 4 plumbers on a Sunday afternoon -- Zippy (Matt) responded within a half hour, and even came out that same day to turn off the water to the house and let me know what to expect whether I chose to use them or someone else. They lined me up with the people who helped to set up the leak detection, remediation, and restoration (I would never have known who to call for all that). So I chose them! My slab leak turned out to be a 2-day job, but they promised they'd have the water to the house turned back on by the end of the first day they were there -- and they did!!! Matt is very knowledgeable about plumbing, and he explained all my options and answered all my questions (and I had a lot of questions). His associate Ben was also awesome -- Ben is like the concrete whisperer -- go ahead, ask him about the chemical compound of concrete!

We had serious plumbing problems with old cast iron pipes in a home we purchased last year and needed to replace essentially ALL of the plumbing under the house all the way to the street (city sewer). I reached out to Matt at Zippy after a series of bad experiences with another company. Matt was kind, responsive, professional and highly knowledgeable about the issues we were experiencing. He's one of Atlanta's few Master Plumbers (license number: MP210053). He thoroughly assessed our situation and made thoughtful recommendations for the repairs. He and his team kept our home practically spotless (which is tough to do when it comes to plumbing!) and despite the repairs taking about a week, they somehow managed to re-hook up our plumbing every evening so we could still live life normally (wash dishes, flush toilets, do laundry, etc.) while the repairs were being made. He and his team communicated clearly during the entire process and always showed up on time. They even fixed other minor, unrelated issues just because they noticed them while they were here. We are so thankful we found Zippy Plumber and will continue to use them for any future plumbing needs. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Great, prompt and friendly service. I had an old water heater that was leaking and called Zippy to get a 2nd quote. Matt and Austin came out to my house in Morningside on a Saturday within 30 minutes of my call and their price was much more reasonable than the first company I called. The new water heater was installed perfectly on Monday and I was very pleased with the entire experience.

Got into a spot of trouble on what initially was supposed to be a simple task. I was changing out a worn shower faucet cartridge and could not get the new one in as the assembly was not secured to anything. At my wits end and with my water shut off to the house, I called Zippy and it lived up to the name! I was contacted and in 5 minutes was showing my issue via Facebook Time. I was given a solution of how to proceed and what tools to do it with. A trip to Home Depot and a couple of hours later and I was back in business! I even got a follow up call to make sure I was ok! Matt and Jack were awesome! I had a leak under my kitchen sink and Matt talked me through the entire issue so that I could easily understand. Matt and his team did a fantastic job repairing our main water line. Our house is set back about 200’ from the street with lots of clay and a small creek in between. I made a call this morning at 9 am in a small panic bc there was standing water (with food scraps and such) in my bathtub. At 2pm the job was done. My sewer line is clear from clogs and all my drains are working like they should. Robert took the time to explain to me all my options and also tell me how to keep this from happening in the future. Fantastic. Robert came out and fixed a leaky sink I'd only made worse attempting to fix on my own. I contacted Zippy Plumber to come by my house to investigate whether I had a leak (my water bill had skyrocketed but I did not notice any signs of a leak). The plumber David was very nice and knowledgeable. He was thorough in his investigation and even gave me some tips for the future. He was able to narrow down the issue to the irrigation sprinklers in the yard and luckily I did not have a leak inside the house. If I do in the future, I now have someone I can rely on! I had a coupler break in my utility closet on my main water line and water gushing everywhere. I managed to shut the water off and immediately went online and found Zippy Plumbing. It is not everyday you have an enjoyable emergency plumbing experience, but Zippy Plumber did just that.

I called frantically explaining that my garbage disposal was leaking into my cabinet and making quite a mess on my wood floors-- Robert immediately stepped in and went to work assessing the situation, making his schedule available, and finally, fixing my problem in less than five minutes! I was not able to be at home for the visit but Robert called me as he arrived and walked through the whole process over the phone in a kind and calm manner. He even did an assessment on my washing machine pipes which had sprung a leak and provided an estimate free of charge.

It is always a 50/50 shot if they are competent or you have a disaster on your hands. Zippy Plumbers (Matt, Robert, & Alston) are the golden standard in their field. We’ve hired them three times now for various jobs around our 107 year old home. Matt pays attention to the little details of his company with an efficiency that always kept our best interest in mind. He and his crew worked nonstop with a main waterline break we just had the other day. He dug up our front yard but wasn’t satisfied until the yard was back to its original appearance when they finished. They even power washed our sidewalk to remove the evidence they had been there. You could select any company and receive great work but, nothing compares to a company that provides old fashion customer service values. That in itself is priceless in our opinion and we will defiantly be calling them for any future work.

We were having some Septic problems, called Zippy Plumber and the guys showed up and promptly began working. We were not sure where our septic tank was located and within a matter of minutes they found the tank and began digging. And the best, no additional fees for digging, which would have probably cost us more in the end with other companies.
They did not leave any mess behind. Very professional and courteous. I would recommend Zippy and his team over any other plumbers in the area, or beyond.

We had a descaling of our 1972 sewer line (below a concrete slab) performed, which involved an additional cleanout being installed outside.

Matt and Ben were thorough with their explanations, not condescending, respectful of our home and yard, professional and did what they said they’d do for a fair price. Matt was accommodating with splitting the payment up, which is awesome with a significant procedure like that. He kept his word on also replacing a few water line valves to be included in the price.

We really enjoyed working with them and definitely recommend for your bigger plumbing jobs.

I reached out to these guys on a Saturday. They answered the phone and their office staff had Matt reach out to me within 15 minutes. He had an emergency repair but offered to walk me through my issue via text and phone. He took pictures of the parts I needed, sent me a video, and warned me about what to watch out for. I was able to make the repair myself for around 100 dollars. I will definitely recommend these guys and will have them do any plumbing repairs I need in the future.

I cannot say enough about Zippy Plumber! I had a problem with a major blockage that cause sewage to backup in my downstairs toilet. David and Dan the Man arrived promptly and were courteous, professional and knowledgable. David is a Rockstar! He used their top of the line Camera and Location Technology to diagnose the problem and walked me through every step and explained the process. He provided options and gave sound advice. I ended up having a clean out installed which took most of the day to complete. David is a perfectionist and paid close attention to detail. Called yesterday about an issue with our drain. They were out to us in an hour and fixed our issue extremely timely. Thank you Zippy.

We thought we had a pipe leaking in the basement of a new house we just bought, which didn't concern us terribly because the water was literally landing on asbestos tiles we planned to have removed later in the week. Still, I had nightmarish ideas of leaving the house and coming back with the entire basement flooded if the leak worsened. So after a couple of days of the leak barely leaking, I decided to call a plumber anyway. I called Zippy Plumber because I had previously had a good experience with them at an emergency at a rental property and they had been great on that occasion. So I called and spoke to Robert and he said he would be at the house in 20-30 minutes. On the way my real estate agent, responding to an earlier text about the situation, called me and told me that my home warranty should cover the problem and not to pay anyone for anything. So I immediately called Robert back and apologized for canceling, which he understood completely, but then he said I'm only 6 minutes out, do you want me to at least go over and turn off your water? I said that would be great if he didn't mind. He couldn't turn the water off at the road, so he ended up going inside and quickly informed me that the leak wasn't in the basement at all, it was actually coming from a toilet in the upstairs bathroom and the water was running all through the ceiling and walls and making its way down to the basement. He found the leak and turned off the water supply to the toilet, all after I had rather rudely sent him to the property and then canceled on him, and didn't charge me a thing! Like I said, this is my second great experience with the company, and I definitely plan on calling them for whatever plumbing needs (inevitably) arise in the future.

I've used Zippy Plumber twice now, and have been more than pleased both times. The company (and Robert specifically) has impressive professionalism and deems incredibly helpful. When my disposal jammed and backed up the first time, Robert personally sent me YouTube tutorials on how to fix the jam and back up myself without the need for the $85 visit fee. After messing up the disposal again (many months later), Robert was able to come out the next day and address the issue very quickly. The communication, availability, knowledge of craft, and genuine willingness to not take advantage of people naive to the plumbing field makes them a go-to company for me. 10/10 without question.

Out of no where, our downstairs neighbors came to tell us their ceiling is leaking water. We live in a complex over 100 years old, so I was immediately concerned about finding someone I could trust. Not knowing anyone in the city, I decided to look to Google to see what recommendations I could find for plumbers. Matt (the owner of the company) immediately picked up the phone and from then on I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. When I called around 8am; Matt was helpful and understood my situation (We tried to play plumber and broke our shower knobs and thought we drilled through the pipes)He set me up with an appointment earlier than i expected . Called earlier this morning about a leaky p-trap and Matt had a plumber scheduled same day. The plumber, Shaun, quickly identified the issue, evaluated a couple of quick fix solutions but we ultimately decided to rebuild the p-trap and get it right. Called them to get an estimate for a water leak as it says on their website they can do one over the phone. No answer. No way to leave a message as the mailbox was full. We did get a text and answered that but never heard from anyone for over 24 hours. We ended up having to fix it ourselves.

Zippy Plumbers were very professional. They came out the day we called them and provided a very reasonable quote and was able to replace our hot water heater the day the parts came in. I would highly recommend to others and will be using them in the future.

Their work was top notch, they explained in detail everything they were doing an why. I called Zippy plumbing because of all the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. Matt actually answered the phone when I called which is a rarity in the service business where you have to leave multiple messages and hope someone calls you back. I was able tell him about the plumbing issues I had and schedule my appointment without any issues. As the owner of several properties I have dealt with all kinds of plumbers before and all of them fell short. Most were in a hurry to throw whatever solution they thought would temporarily fix the issue. Matt was definitely different. He took the time to actually troubleshoot my issues and discuss them with me before recommending a the right fix for the job. Matt is extremely professional and I will recommend Zippy plumbing to everyone I know.

Was supposed to fix a leak in my shower which seemed like an easy job after the second plumber showed me what needed to be done. Zippy left screws loose and left out a limiter which allowed the handle to spin around in a full circle which made it hard to find the spot where the water cuts off completely. I had get the job done all over including replace the cartridge because I was not sure if they really did it or not. Will never use them again.

My Response to the owner's response - The owner informed me that the shower valve would need to be rebuilt which would cost me 500-600 dollars. This was not need at all! After the cartridge was replaced and the shower handle had the proper part added, the parts may have costs all of 50.00 dollars. I actually did the work myself and the shower no longer leaks. My tenants are now satisfied and couldn't believe that I actually paid what I did to get such low quality work. The owner thinks that I wrote this out of spite but I am just writing the facts. And yes I was left high and dry when I told him that a simple part was out, his response to me is that he bent over backwards by sending over a guy twice. And the second response was that there was nothing else that he can do. Not really good customer service to me...

Matt the Plumber is great. Great Communication and quick to help solve the problem. My issue was replacing a shower faucet and he was very quick and responsive. We were able to get the problem resolved within a few hours.

Unlike any plumbing company I’ve used before. Zippy Plumber showed up to my house, realized the problem was a quick pvc issue, gave me instructions on how to fix it, and didn’t charge me a visitation fee. All other companies will charge $50+ for the trip so I would definitely recommend them

We've worked with both Matt and Robert at Zippy and had good experiences. They explain the repairs thoroughly, do good work, and are polite and responsive. Robert was extremely responsive and arrived within an hour of placing my service call on a Sunday afternoon (other plumbers weren't going to arrive until normal business hours). He quickly replaced my hot water heater and brought my new equipment up to code. Robert was very polite and was able to address all my questions and concerns.

Thank goodness for Zippy!! At 5am this morning, there was sewage bubbling up from a shower in our basement much faster than we could remove it! I called numerous emergency plumbers and (thankfully) Zippy Plumber said they could be at the house in an hour or so!! Sean came and took care of everything!! Before I knew it, there was a huge City of Atlanta truck outside the house and they were pumping water out of the drains in the street. He called an emergency “damage ticket” into the city and, because he was able to prove that the issue was not our/owners responsibility, the City is paying all the service providers, repairs and damage!! I’m so fortunate that Sean was here and captured everything on camera! The City has already sent appraisers out and there are currently people sanitizing the basement and removing the carpet - no charge to me! I am SOOOO happy that Zippy ended up coming out and lucky that Sean had the knowledge, experience and foresight to act fast and get the city involved so quickly!! I highly recommend Zippy Plumber!!

We encountered a hot water heater issue the afternoon of NYE and Zippy Plumber came to the rescue! Our issue was resolved within one hour of calling for help. Amazing experience with Zippy! Noticed a leak at our water main on Saturday afternoon, Robert came out the next day and was even an hour Ahead of schedule! He was totally professional, helpful and knowledgeable. He checked out the leak and spent some time looking at a few other potential issues around the house, but figured out that everything was actually ok and the water main is a city problem, not from our line. So he didn't even charge us for the visit! Feel very lucky to have found such a kind, honest plumber who actually knows his stuff. Zippy will be my go-to plumbers from now on!!!

Called late on a Friday, they were here Saturday afternoon. Robert provided a quick diagnosis and was ready to fix it right away. Took less than an hour, meticulous cleanup with organic cleaner, offered advice about potential other concerns, and asked if any questions. Great experience all around.

I had two toilets constantly running apparently needed a toilet rebuild called Zippy they were out the very next day. Sean arrived earlier before agreed appointment time about 15 minutes. Nice having people arrive on time!!!!! He was extremely courteous and professional beyond what I expected to be the norm! He immediately got to work identifying the problem and handled it. My bathrooms were as clean or cleaner than they were after he got done with the job. I didn't even realize he was there. He was great talking with my children interacting with them when they were curious about a stranger being in the house even going out of his way to teach them about plumbing. Would definitely recommend Zippy Plumber to anyone that asked for reliable, trustworthy, hard working plumbers 100 / 100 for my family and I and we will be going back with Zippy Plumbing for all our plumbing needs in the future!

Can't say enough nice things about Zippy Plumber. I called with somewhat of an emergency situation and they had somebody over in about 2 hours and fixed the issue in 15 minutes, They were very professional and kept me informed as to when the technician would be at our house. He was very thorough, explained what the problem was and what he needed to do, worked very quickly and cleaned up all the mess after he finished leaving my bathroom looking better than it did before he started! Updated review: it’s been 4 months since I used Zippy Plumber and I am so so disappointed in them. My what I assumed fixed toiled kept messing up, resulting in $500-800 water bills. I called Zippy Plumber to set up a home visit to see what they could do. Instead I received a call from Sean himself where he started off by telling me “I do not restore or rebuild toilets”. I was taken aback and told him I was calling to see if they could handle the problem or if they recommend another company. His tone (in my opinion) was very confrontational as he talked to me about their liability. I pointed out when he left my house he never, not once mentioned this would continue to be a problem and that the courtesy handle replacement he did was the solution. He quoted me $750 for a new toilet and I told him I will look at other options to compare and then let him know. He hung up on me mid sentence. There’s hundreds of other plumbers in Atlanta, so I will not continue to waste my time with this company. I really wish Matt had been the one to call me back since he was so much more pleasant and professional on the phone.

I had an issue with a toilet that resulted in a $1,800 water bill and my friend recommended I contact Zippy Plumber. I called them and there were here within 24 hours. I was told by my friend to ask for Sean and he was AMAZING! Highly recommend Zippy Plumber AND Sean! Will be using them moving forward for any and all plumbing issues.

Best friendly plumbers in Atlanta. Robert came in & fixed our issues with the washer hose and unexpectedly fixed the water tap on the fridge. Alston was right by his side helping. They made the job look easy & I spent hours trying to figure it out. So glad they came late on a Friday night to help us out!! I would recommend these guys to anyone!!

David replaced our outdoor water spigot and couldn't have done a better job. He upgraded it to a ball valve, put in new L type copper and made everything work flawlessly. He was very professional and did an outstanding job. Would highly recommend.

I called Zippy Plumber to take care of my disposal, and they were able to send someone over right away to take care of the problem. I am happy that these guys are really honest, after all I did not need a new disposal, it was a plumbing problem. Excellent and pro service all around! We needed the entire outside line of our house replaced and Dave and his team were out the next day to start work. Dave walked us through the entire process and kept us informed the entire time. They stuck to their original price quote even after underestimating and working an extra 10 hours than expected. These guys kept working til midnight to make sure we had water before they left (huge with 2 kids). Came back and finished the next day. I'd recommend for any plumbing job!

Matt is the most helpful service repairman I have ever encountered. I called to set up an appointment for a clogged garbage disposal. Instead of charging me money to come fix a problem I could easily solve myself, he walked me through what to do over the phone. It solved the problem and he didn't charge a thing! Finding someone you can trust is the hardest thing. Matt is trustworthy.
