Had appointment for Friday the 4th. After waiting half the day for them they called and said they can't make it and wanted to set up appointment for the 15th. What a joke

I had Forrest Anderson come to my home October of last year to fix plumbing in my kitchen. In order to repair the plumbing, we had to demolish the counter, sink and tile flooring. The first time they came out they demolished the kitchen and told me they fixed the problem with the piping by replacing a part of galvanized piping with ABS. I then had a temporary sink installed and the first time I used it there was water leaking out of the wall. Obviously, they didn’t fix it correctly the first time and had to send another tech out to install a vent in the wall. This should have sent up a huge red flag, but unfortunately I know little about plumbing and have to trust the company I hire.

Since then, the same problem is back. I have had 2 separate companies come out and scope the area that was previously repaired, and they both advised me that Forrest Anderson didn’t use the correct adaptors to go from galvanized to the ABS pipe causing the pipe to shift, so it is now causing a lip and catching everything hence causing the blockage and flooding again.

I called the Forrest Anderson, not only were they not willing to accept any responsibility or offer to come out and verify it wasn’t their faulty work, but they were incredibly rude.
Their parts state they have a year warranty. They will not honor this. It has only been 6 months since their apparent “repair”.
I am disappointed not only in the lack or quality provided by this company, but also their lack of accountability to take any steps to review their previous job.

Stay away from Forrest Anderson unless you want repeated problems due to botched jobs, they won’t be willing to correct.

I called at about 10 AM, Mr. William Moore showed up at my house at about noon. He checked the dripping water at the corner of my patio ceiling and the wall below my master bathroom. He inspected the ceiling drywall inside as well as the shower and bathtub up-stair. He also tested if there was a water line leakage. After thorough inspection he concluded that there was no waterline leak and he suggested to call a roofing company to check the tiles right above the dripping.
For all the time he spent at my house and his expertise, he waived the charge for his work and he treated it as a courtesy call.

Friday morning my husband arranged thru Home Depot to have Delta Mechanical do a warranty replacement on our water heater. Delta called and would have someone at our house between noon and 3:00 pm Friday. After receiving a text that the tech was on his way, I waited over an hour with no show. I called and was told the truck had problems so not today. The service was then scheduled Saturday morning between 8:00 and 10:00. At 9:15 I called to make sure someone was on the way. Oops. The tech called in sick and no one would be able to come.

I understand truck problems and people getting sick. What I don't get is not receiving a call letting me know. Had I not called back Friday afternoon or Saturday morning I'd still be waiting for someone to show up.

Not the way to provide customer service and make you feel valued.

I will contact Rheem Monday to see if something can be worked out with the warranty thru another Rheem plumber. But I'll eat the warranty credit before I do business with Delta or Home Depot again.
