I wanted to replace the lighting under my kitchen cabinets and since I have had previous experience with Christian Brothers I called them. The job went well until it came time to inspect and sign off on the work. Although the packages said the same thing and same wattages, it was obvious that there was a noticeable difference between the 6 fixtures that had been installed. Some produced a white light and the others produced a yellowish light. Mitch Niedens, the electrician, went beyond the normal steps any other electrician, and on his own time went to the store where the lights had been purchased and under his directions the wholesale house saw that no two fixtures gave the same light and even within the fixture the LED bulbs were not lighting the same along the strip of lights. Today he returned to resolve the problem by bringing new LED light strips to replace what was in the fixture and the light output is phenomenal. I am very pleased with the work that was done by Mitch and his co-worker Josh. In the course of the work he left no trace of his having been here and was very polite and professional.

Walter was absolutely fantastic in fixing our electrical problem. He also found that our transformer was wired incorrectly by our builder. Causing a FIRE HAZARD. The builder for our complex created 30 homes and more than likely all have a potential fire hazard within their homes. I will get the word out for the other homes to contact Walter at your company to come out and make sure the other homes do not have the same problem. Christian Brothers is a True Blessing to its customers.

My cooling went out last night during family poker night; eeh. I called Christian Brothers cause they have been rated Trusted rated by to fix it and made arrangements for them to come out and check the problem this morning. James came to the door very pleasant and professional and very personable, checked the system found a few issues and took care of the problem! Glad it wasn't hugely expensive but I am glad to have my AC cranking again. James was outstanding and hope that he will come do my service all the time. So, I had called another company to have my AC looked at that were a bit more 'local' - I decided to give Christian Brothers a call for a second opinion as what I was told made very little sense.Now, we did have a bit of a scheduling issue as the tech they wanted to help me as I had a non standard install ended up being tied up on the day we had scheduled. No big deal really, because the tech, George was so thorough I'd of waited anyway! We had to troubleshoot a mini-split that I was told, would require a new king valve, and the other company told me, that I would need a whole new unit.George took the time to not only diagnose the unit, he went above and beyond by performing a full recovery of the freon/oil from the system and then pressure testing it with nitrogen. During this diagnosis it was determined that all of the freon had escaped and all that remained was oil in the system. All in, they spent a good 3 hours diagnosing and then ensuring the system was charged, all the while validating we were getting the expected cooling.Top notch, and if my friends need anything I'll be sure to recommend and ask specifically for George, he would not quit until I was satisfied, and as such I am very pleased.

Had an AC unit go out and need to be replaced. Christian Brothers walked me through the process of purchasing and approving a new unit to replace my old one. Jon was very personable and explained everything clearly. The install team of George and Derek were great and did an excellent job. Very professional, clean, friendly. The reason why this is not a 5 star rating is because I did have to deal with getting my service call fee refunded instead of it not being processed as was promised. Jon was able to get this refund out to me with no questions asked but just the fact that I had to deal with it after being told it would be voided and not processed was inconvenient. All in all it was a good experience and I am happy with the product so far.

I called Christian Brothers about my water heater. We've had problems with it (pilot kept shutting off, impossible to get re-lit) over the past 6+ months. The dispatcher was kind, they took note of the issues and not even half an hour later, I received a call back that a tech was on the way. I had a tech by the name of Jeff Harvey come by. He was very polite, he had literally put down a red rug on top of my front door mat! He put these shoe covers on his feet when I invited him inside (which I loved because I don't even allow myself, kids or husband to walk with shoes on in my house)! He was very thorough and gave me many options to choose from either fixing the problem or replacing it. He even let me call my husband over speaker phone to be in this decision making process. We chose to replace it knowing it was about 14+ years old. Jeff took his time and completed the job beautifully. He had me check his work and explained how the new up to date water heater worked, along with all the new safety updates. It was the full package, new pipes, new shut off valves, drip pan, installation, haul away, he even put back the shelving we had to move out of the way! We got a complimentary WH flush & checkup in a year & we were added to their member copper plan so if we need any work within a year we'll get their member discounts. Plus you can't top their 6 year tank and 1 year labor warranty. Also Jeff was great in answering all my questions before, during and after! Again,Thank you for your hard work in this crazy heat!

Paul W. and Tommie Smith were here to do an annual service check of my air conditioning/furnace. They were very thorough, explained everything, cleaned up after themselves, and left me one very happy customer. Had a leak under kitchen sink. Guy came out, was nice, said it was hose from dishwasher. Replaced it. Then said we needed another part that he could not get and we might still have a leak. Not happy☹️ Asked him to do a high loop air gap as well. Did it. Wasnt two days before it was laying on the bottom of our cabinet. Not happy! Paid $439 with discounts to still have a leak and and no air gap. Called company said wanted our money back. They said they would come back out but not return our money. My husband refused because he felt they would try to charge us more money if they came out. Very unsatisfied customer!

Tim and Santiago came out and repaired the leaking kitchen drain with a new o-ring and extended the pipe for a secure leak-proof fit. Also had them check water-heater which recently leaked rust water and they determined our 12yr old water heater needed replacing. They gave us all the options for replacement and we were able to have them schedule the installation the next day since it was getting late in the day.

Called Christian Brothers to diagnose a problem with our showers. The plumber was polite and we were willing to go ahead and proceed with them completing the job. The tech said he would be back the next day (Saturday) to pull the part and make the repair. We were then called that day and rescheduled due to them not being able to get the part. We were told to call first thing Monday morning and set something up. We did and were scheduled for Tuesday 3-5p. At 4:50p, we received a phone call from one of their sales reps asking if we were going to go ahead and proceed with the work. It was explained that we were expecting them that day to complete the work. We were then rescheduled to Thurs night. Thurs night, the plumber came and pulled the part and said he would call first thing Friday morning to arrange the repair. I waited all day and never heard, when we contacted them in the afternoon and when the plumber finally called us back he said that they had to order the part and he would be in touch on Monday. Monday comes around and we again have to initiate contact to find out what is going on and get no answers. At this point, we asked the dispatcher to have our part returned to us so that we can pursue a company who will actually complete the repair. Our estimate was around $1000, a little pricey but we were willing to pay to get the work done so that both of our showers would be in working order. Now, I think we will be lucky to even get our part back.

I called Christian Brothers to check on my ac unit. They diagnosed the problem was just chip replacement and charged me $330. And not only that if I want to replace my thermostat their lowest price was $660. I had a business with them few years back and I hope it’s worth it. Name of the company is attractive though. I’m editing my review about 6 months later that I have the same problem again. My ac stopped working after this company replaced the chip on the attic.

These guys are great and exactly who you should call first. I’ve used them multiple times a year for the past three years and they’ve always taken on unideal situations and provided strong results. Most recently I switched out my AC and had a complex process due to an old power box that couldn’t be replaced yet. Barry and Skyler completed the electrical quickly and cleanly after Chuck and Ken finished the tankless water heat very fast. Then Chris followed up with a new AC that day and even when all of the parts were provided was able to find them as soon as possible. This made it possible for Corey to finish the job very fast, cleanly and leave me with a brand new AC and clean house before the weekend. All in two days they got this done and I know there was at least one or two other emergencies during this. This company gives you a team every time you work with them. They may only sent one out to fix some of the small things but know they’re ready to put all hands on when you need them to. Glad to be a customer with these guys. Thanks again!

My AC unit needed a new condenser fan motor the guy came over said that it is covered under our warranty and it would cost $825! I asked him how much the part was he said he didn't know? So basically the part is free considering it was under warranty, and they are billing me $825 for labor. I googled how much should it cost for this and found that it should be around $400 with the part. I called around and Redbird Refrigeration came by told me if I wanted to go get the part myself they would put it in for $250. I bought the part for $40 the guy came back put it in and it took him 45min. Christian Brothers is definitely ripping people off when it comes to their Air Conditioning Service. I will never call them again and you should beware! There are so many honest small businesses out there doing a good job if you are willing to do a little leg work but even if you want convenience do not use this company call someone else.

Joe Pompa, a plumber, from Christian Brothers Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical installed a Flow Tech above my hot water heater, July 24th, 2023. He did an amazing job, while being very professional and explaining where he was going to install it etc. He made sure I was 100% satisfied and if I had any questions before he cleaned up the area. He was done in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend him and this company for all your plumbing needs.

What a big job nothing went smoothly for these guys but they just kept working their butts off. Few days before Christmas Tree roots from neighbor got in a fight with our sewer line. Very small area back yard and power lines prevented them from using equipment to help dig so they hand dug a trench over 7feet deep in rock hard soil and I know because I put a small garden in one year and it was murder. Then it started raining I thought okay three days no service now rain all work would stop and it was three days to Christmas. Nope the work went on they were unstoppable... My husband now retired from the City of Glendale Waste Water over saw their work. He has nothing but praise for Jacob, Scott, John and Tanner they were professional and personable answering all my little questions. The job was quoted between two numbers and even though they had to call in a another company to assist in part of the repair our price did not change. I have done my research they are not the the cheapest company but in my opinion are one of the top best so you get what you pay for warranties, quality, professionalism, friendly and considerate guys giving their all. I am in the process of using this company for the 3rd time and each time has been horrible. Even as I am writing this, I have been waiting for the supervisor to call me for an hour and a half and counting when it was supposed to be just a few minutes. I am forced to have a job estimated at $4000 done and cannot believe how things have been handled by the company. Our experience has been unprofessional to say the least. This has been a miserable experience. I am surprised at so many good reviews when we have had such bad experiences on 3 different occasions now.

I can't say enough about how professional and efficient this company is. Also their employees were exemplary. My first contact with Yolanda was so resassuring- she knew what to do immediately. The follow- up visit with Jon again impressive. We had a problem that required immediate assistance and they came through for us. Their dispatcher Chris also called to update us when they would be coming just to reassure us when their plumbers would be arriving. So courteous. How many companies do that? Then they called 1/2 before the plumbers came and they were right on time. Wow.! Not many trades give that type of performance. Their plumbers Cody and Rico were terrific! Awesome company and the most friendly employees and technicians I've ever had in my home. I will continue to use Christian Brothers for Plumbing, AC, Heating, for many many more years. We had our AC replaced with them because after doing several quotes they came in with the best price. We were also able to secure funding that was ideal for our family. Our credit is far from stellar but they had wonderful options to help us in spite of this. Annalisa did a fantastic job getting it done. No pressure, just genuine and helpful. She came to our home and went over the options. She was also extremely friendly and a pleasure to have in our home. She almost felt like family by the time she left. Everybody I came in the contact with was very friendly and genuine!!! They really stand out from the rest. Rigo and Tom were the technicians that installed our AC. When they were finished they thoroughly cleaned up and left everything the way it was before they started. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. It was a pleasure having them in our home. I cannot say enough about the integrity this company appears to have. It's obvious they truly care about their customers and set the bar extremely high. Thank you Christian Brothers. I would of never imagined that replacing a expensive AC unit at the worst time in regards to our finances, would have ended with huge smiles on our faces.

This is James W's second visit to our home to take care of a plumbing issue. The first visit was his expert replacement of an old, rusty valve beneath the ground that another company's plumber didn't even detect; however, James immediately identified and repaired the problem. As for the call today, it was more of an emergency and occurred at a bad time for our family; however, James investigated, president several options to us, and then and rectified the problem in a very short time. I called for service of our HVAC on the weekend and a representative (Paul) was at our door within the hour. The rep was very courteous and very professional. I was amazed at his demeanor and willingness to allow me to follow along with him as he explained all that he was doing. I felt as though I was dealing with a very honest and forthright representative of your company. You are fortunate to have an employee who represents your company in such a manner.One word of advice. Great customer service from the time I called until my drain was running freely again. The person answering the phone listened to me and was able to give me the information I needed. Dennis was prompt and quickly took care of the kitchen sink clog. He didn't try to make it more than it was and gave me some ideas to help prevent or delay clog formation in the future. I would definitely call them again!

Sorry to say but the experience on 05/07/2019 with Christian Brothers Northwest Valley , in my home, to check the Goodman Heat Pump for Maintenance work , was rather disappointing. Day before I got a call from Christian Brothers, asking if the time could be changed from 9am to 9:30am , I said OK. On the next here is Ernest at 9am but I did get a call before he came as it was told to me. I met Ernest who was rather shy and I showed him where the unit is located, etc. He went up on the roof and it took him 1/2 hour just to check the unit. He checked the temp etc in the house. Then he went to his Van and needed to write what he found.After about 1/2 hour I wondered if he had left, I went outside and there he was sitting in the Van with another employee just laughing and chatting. When the other person seen me come he jumped out of the Van and greeted me. Ernest forgot to turn my A/C off, so I asked if he needed to get something else done, he apologized said he forgot. another 1/2 hour passes and again I went outside and asked if he was ready to tell me what is going in with my unit? Another 10 min. past and finally he came with the paperwork. He gave me 4 options for a condenser motor option 2 in the amount of $1195 for 45 mo.payments. Horrible amount and scribbles , he wanted a hard start kit, no thanks.Unprofessional behavior , in regard to actually explaining anything in detail. I checked on the actual Goodman condenser motor, the item costs about $141 to $145. I looked at me Registration etc for Goodman's services and I found that this item is actually covered by my contract. I even showed this to Ernest who dismissed this, hardly look at it.The insane amount of money for one simple item and then add the repair time to this shouldn't even match up with his crazy amount I was quoted. Ernest came at 9 am didn't leave until 11 am.

I never post anything except positive comments. I made an appointment yesterday at 1700 and the lady was very nice. She said she would try to fit us in last night but would schedule the appointment for sure between 7 and 11. Its now 1302 nothing has happened got a phone call saying were behind, but no time. This has made me a prisoner in my home to there schedule and my wife losing pay at her job. When I called the lady said sorry it must be the rain and transferred the call while I was talking. Dispatch guy said sorry I can call whenever I get something. If I could I would cancel but not sure if I can get someone out today. They better do the best work at a more than fair price to fix this.

Barry and Mike did a 10 star service (5 stars isn't enough) emergency job for us with very little notice. We had storm damage, no air conditioning and needed a new breaker panel and wiring repair, a big job, and we needed it on a Friday before the City of Phoenix permits and inspections would not be available on the weekend. They coordinated everything, did an excellent and professional installation, left the site spotless and left us with very detailed and clear paperwork about exactly what services had been completed and all warranty information. Suddenly the tub handle was shooting out water into the tub. The handle had been stiff for awhile. After turning it off, I called Christian Brothers, and they were able to come out few days later. My plumber, Chuck, was on time, called and texted ahead, and I trounced himself. After a few minutes to evaluate, he was able to give me options and pricing and we settled on a plan to replace the whole shower,faucet,spigot. The brand on the truck was Moen. He was able to drill through the tub enclosure and make repairs and replacement. He was very skilled and courteous, and very neat, cleaning up thoroughly. We discussed doing similar work in another bathroom. And sent an estimate. I was very happy with the work, but also with Chuck. Very nice man and experienced. I found James to be prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He fully informed me of all of my options and explained everything he needed to do to resolve my clogged drain issue. He also gave me options to repair some other plumbing problems I am having and will consider doing in the future. The best part was that he completely removed the materials that were clogging my drain (hair and shampoo and conditioning products) and offered additional solutions that I could do to prevent future clogs. I had a very good first experience with Christian Brothers & their tech, Justin. They were open & transparent about all the work, & the charges were not unreasonable. My one complaints is that I asked for pictures of the work as it was performed & completed, & Justin said he would send them, but I never received them. My second experience was much less satisfying. I felt I was way overcharged for a mainline cleanout. I have had mainline cleanouts done many times & it's usually somewhere around $200 or $250, but this one was several times more. Since it was an emergency, I didn't have the time to get other estimates. I definitely felt I was taken advantage of & I do not plan on using Christian Brothers again.

I open the door and hot water was leaking everywhere. I shut down the water heater and the water to the house and immediately knew what I needed to do… I called Christian brothers. They sent Joe… And he was so helpful. First of all… I own an old home… With a water heater that is linked to a gas resource for power. The gas line made it restrictive to the size and dimensions the heater could be (to fit in this existing space where gas lines had cut the closet in half). Joe went right to work… And discovered that the piping of the water and the gas line we’re not up to code! Joe got right on it… Discovered there was one water heater in the valley that would fit the dimensions of what we had and could also run the gas line. He drove out to go get this water heater on the east side of town several miles away. When he came back he then rearranged the lines and use different piping and not only put in a brand new water heater for me… But now it is up to code! The quality of his work was soooo wonderful.- and the heater JUST fit into the space ... I realized this was not just an ordinary job that I could have handled on my own at Home Depot - but I was relieved to have such a professional who took in all of the specific details that it required for the uniqueness of my situation… And he conquered them all so masterfully! Thank you Joe… And thank you Christian brothers… For being the wonderful servants and service that you provide. Without a doubt… I know where I’m going to next time when I need help once again! Had a faucet replaced behind the toilet. Technician did a good job, but $495!! Unfortunately they caught me when I had to have it done and couldn't take the time to do it myself. I did turn down a bid they made to replace the kitchen faucet for $600. Credit Christian Brothers for capitalizing big on an emergency. Never again. Note the owner's response below does not address the outrageous amount they charge for services. By the way , I completed the Kitchen Faucet replacement today quoted by Christian Brothers at over $600 for $67. As I said, never again.

I found a leak on the other side of my kitchen sink which lead to about 1.5 inches of water in the cabinet and some mold, gross I know! Aaron came out and was able to stop the leak thankfully. My sister is elderly and disabled. Her ceiling fan need to have the receiver replaced. Her care giver call Christian Brothers. The service person tried to charge her $777.60 to replace a $40-$60 receiver that takes about ten minutes to install. She called me up crying so I went over and talked to the service person. He was indeed trying to charge her almost $800. I told him that his fee was outrageous and asked him to leave. He told me I didn't understand how business worked and insisted on a $250.00 service charge which we paid to get rid of him. Shameful!!!

We had an amazing experience with these tree employees at Christian Brothers. In June we had to finally breakdown and replace the entire A/C system. James explained and gave ALL options and made it easy to decide which would fit our purposes. Invaluable information with lots of choices! The team started the next morning at 6AM and worked until 8:30PM Long HOT day in the attic. They had to take out part of the hall ceiling to get the old out and the new in. Hard work! They finished the next day.I had an issue I didn't understand yesterday and George came right over and fixed the problem with my smart phone control of the thermostat. Took him 15-20 minutes and it works perfectly!I have always used Christian Brothers since we moved here in 1995 and this is just more of the same great service we've always had!Thank you all for being there.

Arrived in Sun City West on Saturday, 10/29/16. A/C was not working. My mom (homeowner) called Christian Brothers for service, and they sent a technician in a short amount of time. It was determined that the compressor needed replacing. George B (the SUPER TECHNICIAN!) explained that by replacing the entire condensing unit, she would have a 5-yr warranty instead of just 1-yr for the compressor. Not that much $$ to do this, either. Needless to say, we had to wait until the following Monday for the new condenser, but George and Jon came right away on Monday, and George installed the new unit along with a new breaker. I cannot say enough GOOD things about George!!! He is the most respectful, highly trained, and nicest repairman I have ever dealt with! KUDOS to Christian Brothers for having George B for an employee. I hope you know what a GREAT employee you have. Thank you George!!!Please call CHRISTIAN BROTHERS when you need service for HVAC!

I needed a/c maintenance, so I saw this company with, what looked like, great reviews. Scheduled an appointment for the next afternoon and get a call in the morning saying the technician is nearby and could come earlier. Sounded great! Except they never showed up. I called around the afternoon to see what was up. Got hung up on. Called back and was told to reschedule for next week. I declined because my a/c unit is working overtime with a subpar performance. After hearing that, they said they could be here at 6pm. I checked the 1-star reviews and this company sounded like a nightmare, so I called to just cancel the appointment and was just hung up on. This company isn't customer friendly or professional.

I called Christian Brothers Electrical, for a small GFI issue. They said they were available Monday, and that they had appointments in the morning. They asked me what time I preferred. I first picked 8am, and then changed it to 9am. Later you'll see it doesn't matter. They confirmed and it was scheduled. Monday 2/28/2022 9am came around and at 9:45 no one showed up, so I called. They indicated they do not schedule a time, and that they had a bib job in front of me. They explained it could be anytime that day (stupid, who does that, I thought Cox was bad with their four hour windows, these guys are worse). However, I need it done and they said they would call back at 11:30am with a time. After waiting 3 hours at 12:15 no call back, so I called again to check. They said that they were on another call, but I was next, he thought. Again he said he would call back in 5-10 minutes to confirm. Again no callback. So thinking they are not coming, I drove across town to the rental to replace the GFI. After it was done, at around 1:45pm, I get a text that they are on their way. Since it was fixed, I didn't want the Tech to waste his time, so I call to let them know it was fixed. They put me on hold, and then transferred me to a voice mail. I call back again, and again as I try to let them know they are not required, he tries to put me on hold. This company scheduling is very unprofessional. Simply put they lie... I normally don't write reviews, but these guys need to be called out.

I recently hired Christian Plumbers Plumbing to change out a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. The plumbing technicians were on time, very pleasant and did an excellent job. Although the service was excellent the price I feel was very high. I provided the new faucet and garbage disposal and they added a few drain pipes from sink to drain and a new shut off valve. Price paid was $690 for 2 hrs work. I will in the future not fall for the $30 service call waived if they get the job. The estimate was given after they arrived. In afterthought I should have paid them the $30 and sent them on their way but I needed the work done and they were here so I gave in. I’m sure this could have been done much cheaper. Live and Learn.

Christopher came out to fix the AC unit. It was making a loud noise and shaking the whole house. He determined the parts needed, picked them up and installed quickly so we weren't without AC long. Christopher is professional, explains everything very well and even took the blower motor off to come show me why it should be replaced. Then put it back so we would have AC while he went to get the part needed.

I don't know how this company has a 5 star review. They completely took advantage of my neighbor and her disabled husband. The plumber that came out there charged them $775.00 and spent a total of 25 minutes fixing a problem that didn't even need fixing.Had they told me about their problem, I could have fixed it in about 2 minutes at zero cost.My neighbors are very innocent and unassuming older couple who know nothing about plumbing. They saw that Christian Brothers had a 5 star rating so felt they were being told the truth on how expensive it would be to fix the problem and trusted them.I told them to call the company and explain and maybe someone would agree that they were taken advantage of. Well they called and it did them no good.I'm sickened by this because my neighbors make very little money and it takes them a long time to save up $775.00 only to give it away.I hope the plumber that charged them $775.00 feels good about what he did.

Of course the ac broke during July...I called Christian Brothers after going through reviews. Although I did have to wait a couple of days for availability (not a shock with all the ac issues during a Phoenix summer), the company was up front about appointment times and was very communicative during the whole process, which I greatly appreciated. Jose was the tech who came out to the house. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and up front about options. I have had other companies try to discourage repairs and go right for trying to sell a new ac unit, but he identified the issue and gave me all the options. He did the repair and made sure everything was working properly before leaving and that I understood everything. All in all, great communication and professionalism, I will definitely use them again, probably the next time the ac quits when it's 112 👍

I had a Handyman service recommended by big orange hardware store do some smaller plumbing jobs for me. I discovered after the fact that a very hard to turn shower valve was still VERY hard to turn. I tried some adjustments and ended up with a valve that wouldn't shut off. It was Friday about noon and had no confidence in Handyman I called Christian Brothers hoping I might get emergency service to get the shower turned off. The CB plumber was at my door less than 3 hours later. He checked the problem and advised the shower valve was ~ 40 years old and no longer available. It needed to be replaced. Normally the valve is accessed through the dry wall behind the shower. In this case the wall behind is the exterior block wall... oh no !! The skilled CB plumber cut a slightly larger hole from the interior side. Removed the old valve assembly , and installed a new valve assembly through the slightly larger hole. The new chrome round cover for the valve was larger and covered the larger hole nicely. Problem solved.I think the Handyman recognized the problem and realized he did not have the skills to do the required work so essentially put new handles on the valve and told me it would be ok.The Christian Brothers plumber recognized the problem and had the skills to resolve the problem.

Christian Brothers did a great whole house re-pipe three years ago.Recently had a significant under slab hot water leak. Thought this could not happen after a re-pipe because all the old corroded copper lines would have been abandoned and Pex replacements installed in their place. Turns out one hot water line was missed during the re-pipe and continued to be fed with hot water. The Christian Brothers team responded quickly and located the faulty remaining pipe. Chuck and his team provided efficient leak detection and repair that required re-opening a wall for access to the leaking pipe so water could be re routed and the damaged section abandoned.All repairs and dry wall restoration were provided at no charge under the warranty for the original re-pipe service.Christian Brothers provides exemplary service and takes care of its customers. Thanks to Chuck and his helpers for a great result.

Called to have someone come out and look at some issues I was having. I was told the service would be after 4 pm. They called me saying they were pushed back and would let me know later if they would be able to accommodate me much later than planned, but either way I would receive a callback. Woke up early on my day off uncomfortable because my AC hadn’t kicked on where it was set! I knew it wasn’t good and started calling companies but many well known companies wouldn’t come out because they needed to speak to the actual home owner! Then I stumbled upon Christian Brothers! HVAC technician Mr. Temper waited 40+ minutes to give me a second opinion -no charge,after I had already called dispatch to cancel my appointment because George Brazil arrived first. Consensus was my AC unit needed replaced, they even gave an analogy, it’s like sucking air out of a straw, explained everything throughly and gave many options. As soon as we picked the plan, a short while after Robert came and installed two window AC units to keep us comfortable through the night . Thank God! They started work early morning the next day. Shay, Rigo & Tom came out to install the new unit. A few days later they sent out Barry the electrician for safety precautions -no charge! A little after 2:00 I called to ask for an approx. time for the service tech to arrive. I was transferred to the dispatcher, and he told me that he would check with the techs and call me back. At 3:30, I called back, since I had not received the call that I was promised, and told them that I would have to cancel the service call for today. They didn't even apologize, tell me that they were sorry, or ask if they could reschedule. Moved on to another company.

Eric, the technician, was very nice, helpful in advice and explaining fees and procedures that he could perform for my particular problem. I had to choose the cheapest option as the fee for what I NEEDED done was so outrageous that I could not believe it. Joe was courteous and professional.He went the extra mile in checking my water heater and outside water pressure regulator. In fact he stayed after I left the house and rechecked the water regulator once more and found the outside pressure had unexpectedly risen to 120psi! With my permission he reentered my house to adjust and lower the heater temperature thereby bringing the psi down to 65.His conscientiousness saved me and my family additional costs and inconvenience.He's a credit to his company and profession.

Buyer Beware. Please do your research prior to calling this company, I wish I had. I was price gouged to install a water flow monitor. I purchased the until and had them install it. They charged me $1,600 and when I asked two other plumbing companies they quoted me under $400 after the job was completed. I called Christian Brothers and they did refund $400, but that’s no where near the compensation I feel was fair. The fact the they were willing to refund the money tells me they understood they are in the wrong. Don’t let the name fool you.

Highly recommend Christian Brothers Co for service. Not only are they professional, they are real people-and personable! Price VERY reasonable! Same day called, service was DONE!I actually had a great time, throughout the entire time they were here completing my service! At the beginning, I had 3 problems. When they left, I had 3 great friends, and NO problems!Barry, Walter, and Michael were absolute gems!Your company needs to know how Awesome each and everyone of them are! They each put me at ease, and helpful beyond words!Michael was in training, yet was sharp witted with schooling the other gentlemen; when I was asked about how many gallons of water my tankless water heater held-Micheal and i had a good laugh, at their expense. I really appreciated the great customer service from George Banks during a service call for my heat pump issue. Mr. Banks is a true professional and cares about his customer as he would his own family. He not only fixed the issue of the heat pump, he also explained what and why he did what he did. The other thing is he discussed what kind of maintenance should be done on these systems and why. I would highly recommend George to help everyone. The prices were quoted up front and were very reasonable.

Brian McGinnis returned to service the gas water heater and all internal house plumbing fixtures. This was a second trip for Brian as about a year ago he did an outstanding job at personal expense to him servicing a vacuum breaker unit (backflow preventer) at the outdoor water tap. I unequivocally recommend Brian as he is not only knowledgeable about his trade and thorough doing what activities have to be done efficiently, but he has the personal demeanor that will cause you to feel he is a life-long friend. Another quality that Brian possesses that cannot be overemphasized in dealing with tradespeople is honesty. Brian will attend what needs to be fixed, gives you options for additional work for you to consider, but will never push you to assume any home plumbing project that you do not want. He will not recommend work that doesn't need to be done. That fact alone provides for a huge comfort level. In summary, Brian is the best.

I had some electrical issues and questions about our electrical system. In less than 24 hours from the time I scheduled the service call, George and Joesph came to the house. I had a list with about 8 items that I needed to be checked out. I talked to Jim F. of Christian Brothers about 3:00 PM. I told him I needed a new Hot water Heater- 50 gallon natural gas. He got to my house at 3:30. He looked the place over, showed me some possibilities and prices and other information. I agreed to one offer and he began to go to work. At 6:15 I had a new heater installed, the old one disposed of, the place cleaned up and water heating. Jim is a very friendly and helpful gentleman. Unfortunately my over 20 year AC unit finally broke on Saturday night (7/29). It was pretty late at 11pm and it was pretty miserable for us-especially our puppy until we could get into an Air BNB the next day.I have a warranty & I immediately filed a claim that night. The provider they assigned to me didn't respond until the following Wednesday, but only to say that they couldn't get anyone out until that Monday (8/7). When they did finally text me, they confirmed they confirmed that they were pretty overwhelmed with warranty repairs. No concern that it was now several days without AC in Arizona summer weather.So, I call my trusted Christian Brothers that I have service plan with and asked about the cost of new unit. Greg called the following day & was at my home that afternoon to look at my existing unit to see what size and equipment I'd need. He was able to get me installed that Friday. This took a total of 2 days! He was also very sweet and answered all my questions.The install went great-really nice guys but I did notice that the house was not being cooled down to the set point at 74. George to the rescue. He came to my home yesterday and determined that a belt hadn't been attached and within minutes the house was blowing the cold air that you get in when you go to a store.George is the senior tech, professional & will make sure that he'll catch whatever is wrong. Outstanding guy!Christian Brothers has always taken care of me & are a great company call for all of your needs. I got a 3 ton Trane system at the cost of $12,000. :-)

Highly recommend! We had a water pipe break in our wall! Christian Brothers sent Joe out. Joe was great! Very cautious with COVID-19 protections (mask, shoe coverings, kept social distance), very calm, very knowledgeable and was able to identify the location of the broken pipe in the wall quickly. One hole (approx. 12 inches x 12 inches) and there was the pipe with a hole in it! He fixed the pipe in a quality and quick manner.Had our water turned back on and usable within 1 1/2 of arrival. He cleaned up the debris prior to leaving! EXCELLENT JOB! Will recommend and use them again, when needed.

I attempted to update the thermostat in my historic home, so I could try to be a little more energy efficient by having a programmable system. Lo and behold, it wasn't as easy as just rewiring the mounting plates. Once I realized I was out of my depth, I called Christian Brothers.They sent an HVAC tech by the name of Trish out to my home. She was super friendly, very patient with my questions about the system, and educated me on why I was having difficulty! She even stayed to make sure the system kicked in after installation!A++, give that woman a raise because she is an awesome representative of your company!! These guys were awesome! They answered my messages quickly. The price was right too! Most places wouldn’t even come out without a two hour minimum fee. Barry showed up on time and was so polite! Chris and Joe showed up and went right to work. First , asked us about some of the problems we were having with our AC unit. They started with the thermostat and worked there way to the unit on the roof. They came back down after awhile and advice us on the issues with the equipment he had found .Recommendations were made on either replacing or cleaning equipment. We had our coils cleaned on his reconciliation. All the time they were here,they were very professional and explained all work needed and we were never pressured. My annual plumbing PMI with a flush was done. Although I had an appointed period of time, I was contacted sooner and was thus able to get my day off to a quicker start. Matt showed up and started the process. He made sure that I was informed of what was being done and the condition of my plumbing system. I was very appreciative of the Matt's knowledge and feel I have a much better understanding of what my future needs might possibly be. Repair done to NOVO water softener. Technician located a part in a cardboard box with several other parts. It was hard to tell if the part was new, as it was not packaged. Just mixed in with several other parts that were not packaged as well. The technician explained that the hot water tank is likely to contained water not treated, and it would take roughly a week to restore to treated water. I will know by Wednesday Dec. 28th.

Now, if there existed stars representing knowledge,caring attitude, and a willingness to accommodate customer concerns, these stars would have been checked as well. The techs spread out a carpet at the entrance to my home, entered after donning a pair of cute red booties, and ,with aplomb, corrected the issues they were asked to repair.I wouldn't consider using any other company for needed household repairs, and the reader shouldn't either.It should be noted however that I would give the booties no higher than 3 stars.

I am completely disgusted with the treatment I received from the service technician, Aaron Barraza. He and his co-worker arrived to my home and gave me a quick run down on what needed to be done and the costs of the repairs. During that conversation they explained to me that I would be signed up for a Service Partner Plan that would give me a discount of 15%- it was never disclosed that this plan costs $100 in addition to the services they would provide or else it would cost me an additional $252. Upon completion of the work Aaron and his co-worker called me to collect payment and gave them my debit card over the phone. I asked them to explain the Service Partner Plan once more and asked if I would need to contact Christian Brothers next year to have them come out and do the yearly maintenance the plan came with or if Christian Brothers would call me directly. I asked if this plan had a cost and Aaron said it's basically free. I told him that basically free and free and two totally different things and he then he finally disclosed it costs $100 above and beyond the cost of my bill. I explained that when upselling customers it's important to be transparent before adding additional fees to a person's bill. He told me I should have asked before he charged my card. I said I was going to call the main office to sort out these charges and he told me he doesn't want to deal with that and he'd take the $100 plan off and also give me $100 off my bill. This seemed completely shady and I wasn't comfortable conducting business any further with the two of them. I could tell that the two employees were frustrated I had so many questions and concerns but I wanted to make sure I fully understood the plan and charges to my card. Aaron thought he muted the phone and went on to say to his co-worker I hate dealing with people like this, they're so f#cking annoying. I believe he thought he placed the phone on mute and when I repeated back to him what I heard he acknowledged saying it and laughed. I heard about Christian Brother's through word of mouth and I'm so disappointed that this is who I chose to spend my hard earned money with. This is completely unacceptable and I'm waiting to hear back from a supervisor on this matter.

The people on the phone were courteous and professional. They had someone out in a little over an hour! I was figuring it would take a couple days for them to get to me. He fixed the main problem I called for and looked over all of my breaker box and tested outlets all within an hour! He was courteous, friendly and professional as well. This company gave a level of service you just don't see often today and the price was fair. Highly recommended, and they will be the 1st number I call if I am ever in need again.

We were having issues with our drip line from the A/C not draining properly The technician said it had to do with how it was installed and said our coils needed cleaning. He worked on the drip line and we had the coils cleaned as well. Now we have water leaking inside our home around the return vent. We now have water damage to the ceiling, wall and door framing and this is not storm related. The tech came back and said the only thing he could figure out was there was some debris in the drip pan. That was not the problem since it started leaking again today. Again, none of this happened until they did work. I called for emergency service but that was a waste of time since I was told someone could contact me tonight, tomorrow or Monday. This is poor service and misleading to have an emergency prompt when you call. I know they want a 5 star rating when they do work but this is horrible service and no one to help out with the problem they created with the work they performed.

Fisrts time needing a plumber and he was great. Had a new new kitchen counter put in and the sink did not fit. Chad Looney came to my home at the suggestion of another Christian Brother employee James Russell to inspect the plumbing around the water heater. He inspected the area around the water heater and showed me where mineral buildup around joints that might be due to a problem with the water softener. He cleaned the area and repaired minor leak to the mineral buildup. Chad was thorough in his explanation of the problem and possible solutions.I have enjoyed a 20 year plus relationship with Christian Brothers and would not hesitate to refer anyone to them for service.Dave Jenkins

Justin provided a written estimate of $908 to replace the cartridges that causes the leak on 2 faucets.I decline the repair but agree to pay $29.95 for the estimate. What a ridiculous estimate!!!The next day I watched the You Tube and bought 2 cartridges to replace them myself. The 2 cartridges from Home Depot cost $39. I spent 1/2 hour to replace.The plumber charged more than dentist/doctor. So reader should watch You tube to fix leaky faucet. It's very simple because Delta or Moen make it simple to replace a cartridge..

Tyler came out after a call from his route supervisor, Andrew, to evaluate an ongoing plumbing issue. We had a problem with dirt in our lines damaging faucets, toilets and water filtration from the main city water. They both spent time in the office, looking at the problem and evaluating our needs. They took pictures, made some calls and were able to come up with a workable solution for our office. The quote was prepared professionally, in the office and was very fair in pricing. Definitely would not recommend! Although their staff was very polite, they are EXTREMELY overpriced!! I called them out to replace a broken angle valve on my toilet, which caused me to have to have the water turned off at the main. They wanted to charge me $393.00 and an additional $197.00 if I wanted a new fill valve in the inside of my toilet. They must have thought I was desperate or a naive woman. I went to Lowe's paid $4.00 for the angle valve $14.99 for a fill valve and had it installed in under 15 mins.

I called them thinking I needed a new air conditioning unit. So Jon Temper was helping me try and get some financing for it. He went out and took a look at my unit and found a broken piece that the other company missed just the day before. He fixed my unit and saved me 1,000's of dollars. He was super nice and friendly even helped me clean out my air filter because I'm pregnant and my husband was not home at the time. Great guy and company. Paul was excellent for my air conditioning he checked all areas and was very knowledgable and provided excellent customer service!116 degree day here in AZ and my air stopped working he fixed the part that was under warranty and my developer was w/ another vendor. Do not call these guys. They are con artist. They lied to me about the price over the phone. They told me it would be $10 per register and $20 to clean the main duct. I cleaned the registers myself so all the needed to do was clean out the main duct which was about 15 feet long. I told them before they even sent someone out thatvI would not pay more the $150. They said no problem then they asked for my credit card and said they would charge the card 69.95 and it would come out of the total cost. When he got here he qouted me $1000. They are liars and thieves. Do not trust them. Report them to BBB.

Dennis A. was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I had an issue with a toilet not flushing properly and also brown water coming out of the faucets and the toilets. Dennis was able to determine that the brown water was due to an issue with my water softener. Ultimately, I had to replace the toilet (strange design that did not allow access to the rim jets for cleaning) and the water softener. Dennis was very informative, courteous and got the job done in a timely manner. I ended up discussing other issues in the house (heating/cooling) with him and he went above and beyond and scheduled a service call for later in the week to have that issue checked for me. We first had a very good experience with Christian Brothers when they installed a new Honeywell thermostat about a year ago. Then last week, we called them again for an A/C Diagnostic appointment. Paul Gradilla was the excellent HVAC technician who came to our house. He thoroughly inspected our 2 outside AC units and then climbed up into our hot, cramped attic to inspect our air handlers. He did find some repair issues and very patiently worked with our Home Warranty company to get the claims approved. He then made the repairs and both of our AC units are now working efficiently. We truly appreciated Paul’s friendly demeanor, his willingness to share his knowledge, his patience during 3 lengthy phone calls to our Home Warranty company and getting the job done during one visit!Thank You Paul and Christian Brothers.

I’m updating this post (Please see below) Greg showed up to give me a quote because my AC went out. He was straight forward, explained every option and pricing was better than other quotes I received which made it possible to purchase a better unit for the price. Extremely pleased with Christian Brothers! ***UPDATE***Greg also made us aware of rebates with the power company. The service we received is just WOW!!! Sean (service tech) was awesome. Showed up at exact time updated us throughout the day on what was happening during the installation of our new AC unit. Greg showed up to make sure everything was going great, the field supervisor stopped by to double check everything and asked if we had any questions. Most companies I have hired I feel like I have to always go check they’re work to find they made shortcuts to their work. Not this company! Best company I’ve ever worked with. The Service Specialist who arrived at my location on more than one occasion, has been George B. It is always a wonderful thing to see him at the door because he is one very fine technician. He works methodically, keeps his work area clean, and is always ready to answer any questions I may have as a customer. Since I have worked around this kind of equipment during my career as an Electrical Engineer (my field was engine generator sets in large and small buildings, and we often dealt with HVAC in the process of doing our job.) I had a tech out at the end of August to check a 220 outlet for a car charger. I called 2 days later because the plug didn't match the outlet orientation and was told the soonest appointment was 6 days out. The day of my appointment I received a call that the tech quit and it would be another 5 days before a tech would be here. I spent $100 on charging my car at chargers and then I was charged $354 to switch the outlet out. Very disappointing I didn't receive a discount for waiting for 2 weeks. George and Sean were great.

Christian Brothers immediately responded to our urgent request for help and they set up an appointment for later in the day after explaining their customer service approach.Our Electrician was enthusiastic in helping us get our problem resolved quickly. He reiterated their approach and emphasized wanting to meet our expectations. Solving our problem couldn't be done using a cookie cutter approach. Long story short: he fixed it to our satisfaction. Friendly people but they absolutely had no idea what they were doing. They didn't diagnose the problem correctly and I had to have someone else come out and fix their mistakes. They promised a call back to discuss my experience but they never did. Numerous phone calls to them with promises of a return call... never happened. No one has taken the time to contact me in management despite me asking many times. Very disappointing, unfortunately I will not be giving them another try, if they would have made an effort I would have been more than happy to work this out and change my review.

Joe came to my home for a water heater flush and did a full inspection on my plumbing and also checked water pressure outside. He was very thorough and didn’t rush through his inspection just to get the job done. In the end he showed me straight forward options and different pricing options To choose from which gave me a sigh of relief that I had options to choose from that would make me comfortable. Water heater stopped working and was leaking water, around 8PM on a Friday evening. Called Christian Brothers, for emergency service. It took a couple of minutes, but phone was answered, by a real person, who took the necessary information to have someone dispatched. Technician (Isaac) arrived in about an hour; looked things over and advised that the water heater (13 years old) needed to be replaced. He was ready to start doing that, but given the lateness of the hour, I opted to have him just shut the heater down for the night and come back the next day. Isaac came back the next morning, right at the time he had forecasted, and got to work replacing the water heater. He finished replacing it in 2 hours, as estimated, and we're back in business. While having your water heater go out isn't a whole lot of fun; Christian Brothers and they're exceptional technician made the experience very positive!!! (Note: The only reason I didn't check value was the cost, while reasonable, was more than I wanted to pay and I'm always complaining about how much everything costs these days, versus back in the day. I had a previous appointment that was overlooked because another customer was having heating problems. My appointment was lost in the shuffle, so we lost a day waiting. I called Christian Brothers, and they set me up with a new appointment, and Paul was my service technician. Paul was polite, very knowledgeable, and not pushy when it came to the sales pitch as I call it. He offered products and upgrades that made sense, although I am not able to take advantage of the new Thermostat and a protective relay for my compressor today, I hope to be able to take advantage of this products in the future. Paul, and the face of Christian Brothers in the field, is the bar that all Christian Brothers employees should be reaching for. In my eyes, Paul has redeemed Christian Brothers as a company that wants to put customers first. Thank you for your check up Paul, and Christian Brothers.

Joe came to my home in the evening on a Friday, examined my situation and advised me of my options. My choices were few as far as the equipment my current situation was my water was cloudy both hot and cold and I only had 70 percent water pressure to the house. I had 1 year warranty left on my water heater and zero on a Halo Unit my husband and I purchased several years ago. This company is the one that installed the old equipment and my husband and I still decided to purchase a new system because he took the time to explain and based on facts; I contract with this company. I called the company to come fix a leak in the plumbing. They said the plumber would be here in the morning. It wasn't until 8:00 PM that someone showed up. The plumber turned the water on to see where the leak was but then said he couldn't do anything about it. The house was flooded when he left. He left the water running when he left the house. All we had was a flooded house!

Around 2018 Christian Brothers charged me $7000.00 to do a complete re-pipe of my manufactured home. A few years later, I experienced a leak that flooded my laundry room and kitchen. When they responded to my call to fix the leak, I was told that the original job to re-pipe my home was not done in accordance with their standards. The team they sent to my home only removed and replaced pipes that were easily accessible. They left mostly old piping in my home. But I still paid $7000 for services that were never rendered.

We recently had a leaky supply line for our sink. Our technician, Glenn, was at my house within an hour. Very polite young man. He gave us options so we could decide what would be the best for our plumbing issues. The supply line was replaced amazingly quick as well as the water pressure reduction valve. Chuck did an excellent job replacing shower and bath fixtures [which also involved replacing pipes], and installed a new toilet in our hall bath. He went over and above to manipulate his schedule the following day so that he could do the work first thing the next morning. We had a fully functional bathroom in less than 24 hours, and we didn't have a mess to clean up after he left!He is fast, efficient and highly skilled in his trade. He went over and above - even touched up the paint on the outdoor access panel - it was a perfect match! We will request Chuck again for any plumbing needs.

Christian Brothers responded the same day I called. The technician Eric was great courteous and knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. He came in clean cut and spoke well used no foul language which I appreciated very much. The only complaint I have was their prices. They were very high. Excessive in fact. Parts were two hose bibs that were not very expensive but the total bill was 586.00. They gave me a first time customer discount of 50.00 but still was high. The response was great they did what they said they would do. Eric was great good man but because of price I cannot give them 5 stars. I’m not sure if I will recommend them I think there are cheaper companies out there.

Personnel were excellent. Service was excellent. Only, I am not sure I understood the bill. I was quoted $300 for one drain replacement and $800 for 2 drain replacements. (Drain fixtures in 2 different sinks, but the same model/make of replacement for each) I was tempted to ask for 2 separate drain replacements, but figured that your repair personnel do not set the prices. What gives?

As luck would have it we were lucky enough to have Barry (electrical specialist), and Chuck (plumbing specialist), come on the same day at cross over times to do some fantastic upgrades to our house that was in need! We had all our circuit breakers replaced (safety as they were old), and new pillar lights placed outside to subtly and beautifully cast illumination outdoors. He was lovely and a great mentor and teacher to a young person, Skyler who is in training.Chuck came and helped change up a sink installed when the house was built. The in sink waste disposal had been placed on the side with a tiny sink too small to put a pot in, so he switched it over to the large sink and redid the filtered water system. It now…. Finally works like a champ!The team is soooo courteous, efficient and friendly, they don’t just get 5 Stars from us; they get 10 Stars each!I can’t imagine a better team of people. You will never be disappointed!

Technician was more concerned about making money saying to me, “I really think you should pay more because I don’t make any from just the service call fee”. As an owner of my own service company, I was shocked to hear him say that. He then blamed any confusion on the lady who scheduled the service call saying, “she talks too fast and doesn’t take the time to listen to callers”. I still needed to replace my water heater but chose to take my business elsewhere. I would not recommend this company.

Joe and Luis were top notch. The first time here, they examined the job and discussed that it had to be completed in the next 3 days. They went out of their way to find the right part in the style I wanted, and arranged a second appointment for 3 days later. On January 14, 2019 I had Mario check my A/C.I found Mario to be very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. Despite numerous interruptions from Walter (Electrician) Mario remained calm and courteous. He explained everything he would be doing and answered all of my questions. Of course my A.C. stops working on a Friday, in July, when it's 110°. Calles Chriatian Brothers the girl who answered was so nice and helpful. With in an hour I got a call saying the service man Jon was on his way. Jon arrived on time. Walked me through what he was checking on the unit and what he should be seeing. He found the issue right away, gave me a quote, and fixed it. No lecture for not having them serviced regularly. No up sell, 15 y.o. units, I was expecting them to try to sell me something. He fixed our problem and moved on. Will definitely be using them again.

Sales people. I paid 49.95 for them to come to mu house and try to sell me a new w'atwe softener system after saying that it might just be a seal that nsesa to be replaced. They saild that the new softener system will.come with a new seal! Also, they quoted about 850 to replace the seal ase they saild that the seal was too ubique and they were billing for the time it would take to find it. Do not recommend.

1 star since 0 isn’t an option. This past week I have had the same technician come out to service my AC unit 2 times the first time he stated it was fixed and then the unit went out within an hour but by the time it went out it was after hours and no one to service they were out again the next day and serviced the unit again another temporary fix. We are in an excessive heat warning and have called the so called 24/7 number and today was given a response from the operator well for you have a pool? I am sorry but this is unacceptable I have a small child and elderly parent and you think staying in the pool in 100+ degree weather is the solution to the AC not working? What is the point of having warranty and you advertising “For repair issues that need to be resolved quickly, we offer 24/7 emergency availability”. If it isn’t true.

Paul Gradilla just finished up saving my family from the heat that July brings. I really appreciate him taking the time to explain exactly what was going on with our AC and why it was happening. The priceless added knowledge on the units history and knowing that the manufacturer is stopping production on its coolant for this model next year will be extremely beneficial when it comes down to future decisions.All in all, Christians Brothers Air Conditioning techs are always polite, well mannered, and professional. So when we first moved into our house we had a handy man come and install a ceiling fan into our daughter's room that had no light. Well he did the worst job that didn't make sense and it kept tripping our electical box.Walter the electrician from this company came and did everything we ask. He was so knowledgeable about everything and explained everything to us. He explained everything I thought was correct in my head.They were so helpful with financing that know we will be able to contact them with all our electical, plumping and AC needs.Long story short, DO NOT just hire anyone to do a professionals job. So pleased with Walter's work

Mike came for the annual check of the heating system. Things were good, but when he checked for a Compressor Saver and a Surge Protector, neither were there. He explained that they were not mandatory or urgent to have, but they would increase the life of my system. I know that if something needs to be done, sooner is better than later and even though these two items were not necessary for the system to function, but if they would extend the life of my new system, that would be good. I cannot afford another new system again. I had him install the Compressor Saver today and he will install the Surge Protector next time.Mike was very professional, helpful, and nice. He explained everything to me so I understood what needed to be done, why, and the cost to me. I was very happy with the service I received today. (and that I always receive from Christian Brothers.)

5-Star Titanium rating on my experience with Christian Brothers Plumbing! Excellent service, communications, punctuality, knowledge and technical experience. I called for an R/O filter change and Lee was here at the appointed time (less than an hour after my call). Not only did Lee change all my R/O filters, he easily talked me into a Halo Water Conditioning System...something I'd been aware of and considering purchasing for several years. Lee was conscientious about the interior of my home (used the foot coverings and the Red Carpet) congenial, efficient and totally enjoyable. This was a major purchase for me and a costly one, but also a necessary one...did I mention I received a 10% Senior discount on the R/O service? I would most assuredly call CBP&AC in the future and refer friends and neighbors to them. Very positive experience!Several days later, I called and asked for a pH test...again, Lee was here within 15 minutes, performed the test and was back on the street in another 10 minutes...no charge!!! If you're OK with waiting a while for your service, having debris tracked through your house, dealing with incommunicative, maybe surly technicians, paying a fee for the house-call and the possibility that the job was performed incorrectly, in order to save a few dollars...sure, go ahead...call the least expensive guys you can find. I've done the research and this company is, far and away, the best all-round experience I've ever had with a residential contractor.

We called Christian brothers because the gas company had to tag our grill there was some piping that was corroded. Dennis came out and he was very knowledgeable. He explained everything very well and gave us a quote for fixing it. Thomas came out to install my new AC unit. He is the most thorough and conscientious technician I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He takes immense pride in his craft and it is evident from the moment he greeted me at the door. He gave me a detailed explanation of what to expect during the install. He put cones out by his truck on the street, rolled out the red carpet for me at my front door, laid floor protection down at all of his work areas, and wore shoe covers every time he entered my home. After the install was complete he took the time to make sure I understood how to work my thermostat and answer any other questions I may have. Thomas was excellent and Christian Brothers has exceeded my expectations on all fronts, from the front office Customer Service Representatives great communication to the Dispatch Coordinators frequent updates. I can say confidently that Christian Brothers has earned themselves a lifelong customer!

Chuck & Shaun were professional and demonstrated a great deal of attention to detail They deserve 5 stars for the work they did. I was, however, disappointed that Chuck would not modify his plan and replace a joint that was a potential weak connection in the same area. I was also very surprised at the $845 charge which seemed out of proportion to the work involved. In all fairness, however, this is the first licensed plumber I have ever hired so have nothing to compare the rates to.

We really love the service and the people at Christian Brothers. I only wished they could have come earlier. We called on a Friday around 5pm and they couldn't get anyone to the house until the next morning. They need more technicians that can work emergency hours, because they couldn't get there we ended up with additional water damage that would have been prevented. We will continue to use this company because I have to say they provide excellent work! On another note, they were able to get a representative out to our home on a Saturday morning to do paperwork on zero interest financing. That was excellent, but just wished they could get a technician out when we really needed it since they advertise 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I have to give a 2-star which is positive, since we have to deal with the headache of the water damage from a pipe that broke upstairs, and we couldn't turn off the main because that was broken too. Not our fault, not theirs, but they do advertise 24 hours a day! The damage wouldn't have been bad if they could have gotten out Friday evening. Note to Christian Brothers: have more technicians available after hours like you advertise and you would have gotten a 5 star raving review!

The office staff is outstanding the lady that works in dispatch and Yolanda both of them answer the phones and they're very professional I'm sorry for that the lady that works in dispatch and then of course you have Tim was a excellent manager came out and explain the repair and then he have two technicians Corey and Jacob who are absolutely outstanding they know exactly what customer services and if friendly and no answer to any question that you might have their absolutely terrific Corey and Jacob please somebody give them a call and thank them besides me and in the conclusion the finance manager Annalisa, had the courtesy to come out to my residence and review the paperwork with me and then try to get me the lowest price possible for my water heater repair .she also outstanding, very customer orientated. I called today to ask for an appointment for a non-emergent matter related to my AC unit and a leak and some other issues that had been identified while having an energy audit done by another company. My appointment was accommodated within 4 hrs which was convenient for me. Jon Temper was the primary service tech and was responsible and conscientious as well as clean, polite and professional. He was assisted by the roving Brian ( he came out of nowhere) and they were able to rectify the problems and issues at this visit. I was extremely pleased and glad the situation was taken care of. Late Saturday night, our A/C went out. We called Christian Brothers and they said someone would be at home within 60 minutes. For the sake of brevity, I’ll just say that they lived up to MY expectations of how a company provides EXCEPTIONAL service to customers. Although ours was a complex installation that took two days, the installer, Anthony G. handled all the unforeseen hurdles that are frequently encountered with any home based repair. He was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and friendly. He carefully went about his work with complete respect for our home and us. If things had to be moved, he moved them carefully, making sure they wouldn’t accidentally get damaged. When he completed the repair, he meticulously cleaned up all the areas (interior and exterior) where work was performed. Anthony G. represents Christian Brothers in a role model manner that demonstrates not only his own outstanding personal work ethics, but Christian Brothers commitment to providing excellent customer service as well. I’ve only encountered this type of stellar customer repair service in one other business here in the Valley. Christian Brothers went that “extra mile” to offer us options integral to our comfort while they completed their work. They thoughtfully provided us with a portable room air conditioner (at NO cost to us) that made our situation a little more bearable in the July heat. They set it up, and made sure it was working BEFORE they left. Anthony also removed it from the home when the work was done. Let me also mention that at NO time did he ever ask us, the home owners, if we had electrical extensions, tools, mats, etc. to do his work. If you’re looking for a new A/C install or repair, as a completely satisfied customer, I am happy to suggest and recommend Christian Brothers. We had the problem everyone dreads here in Arizona -- our air conditioner suddenly stopped working on a 110 degree day. Christian Brothers stood out in many ways. The first thing was that someone answered the phone even though I called after business hours. They offered to send someone out that same evening, but we decided to let it wait until the next day. John T arrived promptly within our scheduled window. He was polite, efficient and explained everything so clearly. He was extremely patient; I had many questions and I know I asked several of the same questions multiple times. It turned out to be an expensive repair, so much so that we had to decide whether to repair or replace the system. I have to mention I never ever felt pressured to make any particular decision. Jon T offered us many different options, and even called my husband to explain the options because I felt that I could not explain some of the technical details sufficiently. We are extremely pleased with the level of service provided by Christian Brothers and by John T.

I had just brought my son home from the hospital, where he had been for over a year! And my A/C went out Christian Brothers came that night and found mold growing in my duct work. Knowing that I had a child that was dependent on oxygen and aBi-pap. Put us in a *** 3 star Hotel for 2 nights while they removed and replaced all of the duct work in my home... I am so very greatful to everyone at Christian Brothers for caring enough to go the extra mile for my son and I.❤👦❤👦❤👦

I got a mailer at the right time when I was having an issue with a leaky pipe. I checked out their reviews and was pleasantly surprised. They were on time, called and texted ahead. I live in a 50 yr old home in the East Valley with numerous electrical issues and called Christian Bros because they had done several great plumbing repair jobs for my dad's house in Glendale. I needed some advice on rewiring my house to replace the original aluminum Romex which has been showing signs of dangerous damage due aging and arcing, installing new electrical wiring and panel for a garage workshop and inspection of the existing house electrical panel if upgrading it was needed. Noah the service tech arrived promptly after first confirming his ETA for the appointment and was very friendly and professional as well as helpful with his advice. I also appreciate the background info on Noah before the service call to help put any fears to rest if I had any concerns- I didn't but thanks for being proactive in that regard (some people might). I asked for an estimate of the costs and he gave me 4 different options to consider. Noah pointed out a damaged circuit breaker and replaced it along with his inspection of the panel. It was very nice to have his eyes on the problem because I hadn't realized the extent of the arcing issue. Overall, the service call was well worth the time and took less than an hour despite everything he looked at and the conversation we had regarding rewiring specifically. The most difficult thing now is coordinating when we can actually do it. Thanks again for the advice and we look forward to working with the team soon.Charles Haynes JrTempe, AZ

I am very pleased to say, that since I bought my home 5 years ago I have only used Christian Brothers for my Plumbing and Heating maintenance and repairs. Their technicians have always conducted themselves in a very professional manner from covering their feet walking in your home to explaining the job to your satisfaction. From replacing my Complete air conditioning systems to updating old water lines changing faucets etc etc. Of course I wish I could pay a little less but on the other hand you can't find type of quality service you get from Christian Brothers. George just came by the house nice and quickly to take care of my heating issue. Christian bros came out yesterday for regular maintenance but forgot to turn the power back on and didn't realize until the next day that the heat wasn't working. My AC wasn't working and the temperature is rising so I called Christian Brothers to come out. It turned out that my motor needed to be replaced however the motor would have probably outlived my AC unit which was 15 years old & the Sales Rep, Jon, went over the financial help options to purchase a new unit and he had his coworker Ann come over and get us signed up. Thanks to Ann we were able to qualify for an affordable monthly payment which we also got a discount! The next day we had two workers come by and install the new unit which was bigger than our old one. The two workers, whose names I didn't get managed to get the system up and running even though it was a long day. I was VERY grateful that they stayed until they had the AC up and running since it was unbearable to be in the heat for two days straight. God bless them for helping us get cool! The following day we had two another workers come out to finish the rest of the work since there was a few things that needed to be finished. Rigo was one of the workers that helped to finished the job and they did it in a good amount of time. After they left another worker came by to inspect the job, his name was George who did a walk through and said everything is installed and working properly. He mentioned we should get a call from Christian Brothers to make an appointment to have them fix the opening of the attic since they had to remove some boards to do the work which will not cost us since they will repair that for us. I have to say VERY EXCELLENT WORK! I will recommend Christian Brothers to anyone who is need of a new AC or any other repair because they do a great job in coming on the same day and completing the work in a good amount of time. :-)

Had an A/C inspection for pre summer. Great job! Chris, their tech, explained all that he was doing and why. Didn't try to sell but did make recommendations for better efficiency and energy savings. He cleaned the coils and checked all components. I was very pleased with the service and will use them again.

I called Christian Brothers when I discovered I had a leak in my water main. I had dug down 30 inches to expose it already but needed a pro for repair. They sent out a plumber promptly. He was friendly and knowledgeable but I have to give them a low score due to the gross amount they charged me. He cut out the damage and did a nice clean job soldering in new pipe and even replaced my worn out shut valve to the house free of charge but the total for 2 1/2 hours work was $957 dollars.No digging for them, just straight up cut and solder at an outlandish rate of $450 an hour. Another independent plumber told me after the fact that he could have done the work for 200-300 bucks. Christian brothers did a good job but I would never recommend that anyone sign up to be overcharged this badly for anything.

My home has a septic system and the system seemed to be backing up. Justin and Jacob came out to my home. It seemed that there were roots that were clogging the system and they found a crack in the pipe. I also decided to replace all the shut off valves under all sinks, washing machine and outside main shut off valve. I also had the toilet replaced in the 2nd bathroom. It took 3 days for all the work to be completed. The biggest job was having to dig to the septic pipes in 100 degree Arizona heat. They never complained once they just seemed to take it in stride. They are very nice, professional and were respectful of my property. I have pets and they were always careful to close the door behind them whether going in or out. When the work was done in the backyard you couldn't even tell that it had been dug up. Justin and Jacob you both did a fantastic job. Thank you for all your hard work. It was very much appreciated!

This guys gave me an estimate for electrical repairs on my house for over 6000! So I looked around some more and found an honest electrician who told me that I don't have to spend that much money and the problem can be fixed for a little over 200 in parts and 300 in labor!I'm not going to use this company ever again. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable technician. I wasn't sure the job could be done easily, but he knew exactly what to do. Fair price.My only complaint is that they don't give you an estimate upfront, but I called around and it seems to be a standard practice. Makes sense, because they don't know in advance how much work they'll have to do.If you're considering Christian Brothers, know that you won't be spending above average, nor should you expect any surprises. After 2 days with intermittent AC, I reached out to Christian Brothers because I had heard great things about them and felt confident my problems would be resolved.I called them at 3:00 today 9/9/15 and Ann was most helpful and patient. She promised a tech the same day! I was in shock! Mike E arrived (after a call letting me know he was coming) on my door step by 6:00 PM! I was thrilled. He patiently listened to what I thought it was, what was wrong then started researching the problem. Within 30 minutes he knew exactly what the problem was, shared photos to document it, and gave me an estimate. He showed me where my wiring was very old and exposed, and not safe. He priced out what I needed and went to work! He was done by 8:30 and at 9:00 PM my home is comfortable for the first time in many weeks! My AC is working incredible and I will sleep so much better tonight! Thank you Ann for your assistance and thank you Mike E for your incredible service and exceeding my expectations! I will refer you to all I know and have already posted on FB!

I called at 1PM on a Friday 6/27 (109 degrees for those who keep count above 105) and Barry and Skylar were at my house by 4:30 to check into an issue with my breaker box and an electrical box plug for my air handler in the attic. They two were polite and efficient and got me running again. Nice work! Also, Tim from dispatch was very polite and kept me up to date on the ETA of the truck. I'll use them again.

Too expensive. First, asked if my house is “smart home” because they don’t service smart homes …I would think this question should be asked before a van with technician arrives for a fee ….A lot of talk how skilled and knowledgeable then “I don’t know where photocell is, it could be anywhere, it’s a big house”…in the end after less than 1 hour of talking and unscrewing one electric socket I got charged about $500 yet no materials were used at all. Not bad for less than hourly rate. Problem not fully fixed. Answer to my question why is there problem with outside lights was “maybe ghosts” (are causing it) plus a quote of $1250 for bypassing with a wire of photocell on the outside wall and installing a switch…I estimate materials at $30…labor is the rest and I suspect 1hr job or less again.

Not sure where the good reviews are coming from but for me, the price was way way too high. Costed me $600+ to fix a loose outlet where I found the average was $50-$200. The technician itself is good but I had to pay $69.99 for the initial estimate if I don’t hire him and he won’t tell me what’s wrong with my outlet unless I hire him. I put my hope that this is a good review company so I went and hired him. Then the technician didn’t even turn off my break to fix my issue within like 10 mins. Anyway, wont recommend to anyone and won’t come back again!

Albert came to my home on a Friday afternoon about 45 min after I made the initial call for service. The problem was a water leak in the kitchen coming from the fridge area. After looking at the fridge for just a couple minutes, he was able to find the problem and come up with a solution to fix the problem almost immediately. With alot of people out there in need of answers to their plumbing questions afraid to ask out of fear of feeling stupid, it is nice to know there are service professionals like Albert out there that don't treat you like an idiot and treat YOU with respect and professionalism. Any problems down the road, I will definitely ask if Albert is available.
