Daniel and Sean arrived quickly to evaluate a broken sewer line in my basement. Appreciate their quick response! The job ended up being much more extensive than initially anticipated and we are thrilled with the work the guys did.

They scheduled a plumber to come out within a couple hours of me calling. Plumber was on time, professional and accommodating. Price was fair. My organization received a notice of defect from the Philadelphia Water Department. We knew we needed to contact a licensed plumber, so I went through PWD's directory and started looking at reviews. Roger Ross was definitely one of the highest regarded, thus I called and was able to have someone come out quickly to help us understand the issue, diagnose the problem, fix the clog, and provide an invoice we can send to PWD to prove that the issue has been resolved. We will definitely use them again in the future!

Arrived promptly within the time window provided, communicated options to me whenever there was a change in the original plan based upon the path the pipes actually took in the wall, installed the shut off valve as requested and kept everything neat. Would gladly use Roger Ross Plumbing again.

These guys did a great job installing my tub faucet. When I noticed a leak weeks later I asked for them to come back and check it out, they did so a day later with no issue and identified the problem; the messy work of a previous plumber (unrelated to RR). They fixed it up with a professional and positive attitude. Great customer service through and through. Highly recommend.

There are only about 4 or 5 long time muti-generational plumbing contractors in the Roxborough Manayunk area - I called one of them to repair a shut-off valve leak in a valve BEFORE the water meter - that means the water needs to be shut off from the curb to repair the valve - the plumber I called (one of the more well-known Manayunk guys) came out and reported back that the curb shutoff valve is inoperable and I would need to have the sidewalk excavated to replace the valve - about a $5000 - $8000 job - not to mention having to wait 3-6 weeks to get permits and schedule such a big job - I started calling for estimates for the big job (since my plumber was not set up to for the expensive excavating job) - the 1st contractor I called for an estimate to dig up the sidewalk was Roger Ross Plumbing - I explained the situation to the receptionist (Natasha I think) - super friendly and convinced me to let their people come to check the curb valve again before thinking about digging - she gave me an appointment for the very next day - Dan and Shawn came out the next day as scheduled (on time) and were successful in shutting off the curb valve that the previous contractor said needed to be replaced. Why wasn't the previous very experienced plumber able to shut off the curb valve? We'll never know. With no exaggeration Roger Ross Plumbing and his guys saved me many thousands of dollars and probably a month of restless sleep. I wish I knew of these guys 20 years ago!

We've had a leak in an upstairs bathroom. The leak shortly after we returned from an out of town trip for Christmas. The boiler had gone out and the house had gotten down to 40 degrees. Apparently the freezing of the waterline created a crack in the toilet resulting in the drip leak.The servicemén werw able to turn the water to the toilet off, discuss alternatives for the repair and provided cost estimates.

They were on time after having to cancel a few days before. The two men where so professional and careful in moving my furniture out of the way to get the old oven out. I will be using them for all my plumbing needs. From scheduling to visit, it was smooth. (This was not an emergency call, so everyone had time to figure out their schedule.)

Roger Ross plumbing did excellent work. Same day repair for a streaming leaky bathroom faucet. It is an older home with older fixtures. Technicians were professional clearly explaining the problem. They went to supply house to get the replacement cartridge and returned quickly repairing the bathroom sink faucet - all good to go. I'd recommend this company for any plumbing repair. They are responsive, professional, and good at their trade.

I called Roger Ross Plumbing for various repairs at my house. They replaced my broken spigot, very old laundry sink plumbing, a toilet supply valve, and some old piping. Several months ago my wife and I purchased a sizable project. We knew there would be a lot to fix in a 100+ year old home, but despite the dozens of inspection reports, we still somehow underestimated the plumbing risks. The plumbing issues started, I think the first day we bought the house… Roger Ross Plumbing is right around the corner so we decided to go with a neighbor - plus the reviews were excellent. Over the course of 2 months we probably had 6-8 unrelated pluming issues. I’m guessing around 20-25 hours of work in total. Dan Vieldhouse was the primary technician here the most, and we couldn’t be happier with his level of service and communication. He routinely went above and beyond to ensure the job was done right - that meant late nights, early mornings, searching for rare parts, carefully explaining the root cause of issues, etc. He had no fear of the old toilets and pipes. We had had a few other plumbers quote some things before going with Roger Ross, and I remember it being obvious they were nervous. I feel like they gave us lazy quotes and insisted “everything had to be replaced.” Dan knew his way around the old stuff, and I’m confident he saved us thousands by fixing what we had. The home is old but stately, and we wanted to preserve as much of the character as possible. I’ve been a homeowner for 8 years now and I can’t say I’ve ever felt good after a plumber left - until recently. I don’t have a ton of context because many of the issues were new to me as a homeowner, but my sense is that the fees and material costs were reasonable and fair. I’d highly recommend Roger Ross Plumbing, and ask for Dan.

We needed a toilet replaced because ours was using too much water per flush which made our water bill double the average household bill. Dan V. and Nick came out and were very friendly and agreed that the guzzler had to go. We talked about options and they educated us on what was best and why. They left and quickly returned with the new toilet. They installed it quickly and left everything neat on top of everything the price was fair. Had Dan from Roger Ross come out to do a simple shower cartridge replacement and during the install my 5 year old managed to get ahold of a critical screw and chucked it under the tub and down the wall, essentially gone. Dan was able to quickly revert course and get us a path forward quickly which was highly appreciated with three kids under 5!! Quality work, shows up on time, polite, highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal service! Came out for a service estimate and these guys were knowledgeable, caught issues that my inspector didn’t catch, and broke down what need to be done and were down to earth about the prices and time needed for completion. They work with houses in manayunk frequently so they are familiar with the plumbing in the older houses. I can’t be more thankful for these guys! During their estimate I had a large furniture delivery and they even helped me move it (which they didn’t have to do and I’m so thankful for!) Definitely will be using these guys for all of my plumbing needs.

Very fast and efficient service, I had several issues at my new condo (corroded pipes under two sinks, a loose shower lever, and a running toilet). One of the issues ended up being bigger than expected and was a near all-day ordeal, but Dan was able to fix it the same day. The prices are reasonable, and I will definitely use them again in the future.

In attempting to replace our hose, we broke off a piece of our outdoor pipe on a Sunday evening of a holiday weekend and had to shut off our water to prevent it from spewing out everywhere. We were left scrambling for an emergency plumber — Roger got back to me right away and connected us with Dan, who came out the very next morning. Dan knew exactly what to do, and was quick, professional, and knowledgeable. He replaced our spigot and a valve and got our water up and running again in no time. Roger and his team of plumbers are the best in Philly. I’ve hired them on multiple occasions and they re-did our entire plumbing system on a house we renovated; quickly, efficiently, and with no leaks. Tyler especially went the extra mile with us. It’s challenging to find good contractors who keep their word and show up on time. Roger and his team are one of those contractors—you can trust him and they will get the job done as you like it.

Moved into a new place recently and had a few plumbing problems I had to get addressed. They were good about contacting me pretty promptly after getting in touch, setting an appointment up, and following up afterward on the issue to make sure they were taken care of.Had to get a toilet replacement due to a faulty toilet that was at the house, and they did great at the new installation, and following cleanup and removal of the old toilet.Prices also seemed very fair for the work that was done, and the people they had out were very professional and good to talk to. I would certainly call them again in the future if anything else needs to be fixed.

Quick and clean removal and install of new disposal. They forgot a small part (conduit cover) and promptly came out next day to fix. Plumber wore a face mask and was polite and professional. Decent prices and second time using them (first time they replaced part of a leaky basement pipe), would consider them our go to plumbers. Their work is always precise and cleanly done. Only complaint is sometimes hard to reach them on the phone.

I contacted Roger Ross Plumbing to fix the tub spout in my bathroom, which was leaking behind the wall. Scheduling was easy and the people on the phone are very nice. The plumbers showed up a bit before the scheduled time and were finished with the job in about a half hour, they attached a threaded fitting to the pipe and re-installed the tub spout. It’s working now with no leaks, I would recommend Roger Ross if you need any plumbing work done.

I cannot say enough about the service we received on two separate occasions. Once, for an outside line that connected to our hose that was leaking. The other was just yesterday connecting a copper pipe to a new refrigerator. Both experiences were great! The issue yesterday ended up being more complex than just a hook up. Employees went above and beyond to check the lines in the basement. A valve ended being an issues so they left, got the piece needed and returned within 20minutes to complete the job. No stress on our part at all, totally professional and couldn’t be more pleasant to have in our home to help us get things working correctly. Always a pleasure and our go to with any repair needs!

Had a great experience with this company. My old water heater died unexpectedly, and Roger Ross squeezed me in for an immediate appointment. They came in, hauled the old heater, and installed the new one in a matter of minutes. Prices were very fair for the model and capacity of heater I received, and there was no pushiness or upselling--they gave me exactly what I asked for at a good price, and very quickly. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Overall it was a very positive experience with Roger Ross. They responded to my needs extremely quickly (same-day) and got me on the schedule for the actual work within a few days. The work was done well, however the technician did need to be reminded to do a couple minor things throughout the day. Despite this, it was a good experience and I would highly recommend.

Slow draining bathroom sink- ran snake to open fully. Plumbers should have put a tarp down. I’m still cleaning black gunk from the rooter left on floor and wall.Your price is exorbitant for a 1/2 hr call. I used your service in January to repair a leaky basement storm water pipe that took more time and paid less. I won’t call you again.

Roger Ross plumbing is professional, well organized and responsive. Their technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. We did have communication hick-ups: I had requested three tasks and the technicians thought they only had two tasks to complete. That discrepancy was settled and a technician came back to complete the third task. Overall, RR Plumbing is reliable and somewhat pricy.

The technician was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He explained the source of our issue and quickly fixed it. We did have some pricing questions and the owner contacted me directly. He was very friendly and customer oriented. He was very easy to deal with and would recommend this company to anyone needing a plumber.

I would not recommend this plumbing company. We put new tile down so we needed to take off the toilet and have a plumber re-install it. After the plumber from Roger Ross reinstalled it we noticed the ceiling below the toilet was a yellow-orange color. We knew that they caused the leak and did not install toilet correctly. I called them back and they said we needed to get knew pipes installed. There was no leak before so I knew they caused the issue. I had another plumber come for a second opinion and he was able to fix the issue. He had to put a second wax ring down to secure the flange. Roger Ross plumbing clearly did not see their was an opening and water was leaking. Because of them I had to open up my ceiling and now need to repair it. They 100% caused the issue and did not even feel bad about it.

Medo and Ryan roughed in all new copper water lines, 14 fixtures on two stories. They did excellent work and were very respectful. I would highly recommend Roger Ross Plumbing, and would recommend that you ask for Medo and Ryan by name.

VERY professional. Smart guys who you like to have a beer with ! Found the problem in minutes, fixed it and ended a very cold 4 day period. I own three apartments and will use their service from now on. I ended a 30 year relationship with a local East Falls plumber who really overcharged me on the last two bills. Then was angry that I asked him to give me an assessment of what the costs would be. They send a one page one line bill by mail. This company streamlines the process online. I did not need to replace anything as my old plumber stated, he just didn't want to do it. Said he needed to order the part, left me in the cold , literally for 4 days, and RRP fixed it and honestly told me it was old but did not need replacing. Honesty counts. Their trucks are stocked. I am requesting them back to fix a toilet also broken by the former plumber who just didn't care to do it right. Toilets are not complicated.

Roger Ross has been our go-to plumber for years. His team is very responsive and helpful, whatever your issue may be. They are very knowledgeable and will make sure the job isn't done until you're satisfied with the work. We recently had them replace our water heater and they took care of everything very quickly and cleanly and we have had no issues since.

After striking out with two other plumbers, I was referred to Roger Ross Plumbing by a friend. Roger came out to give me an estimate on a Friday and was able to schedule the work for me on Tuesday, only a few days later. He addressed a variety of issues in a second floor bath, including replacing the drain line, installing a new vanity and faucet (which required moving the water lines to accommodate a larger vanity), and reinstalling an existing toilet (which required a new flange). Bob and Tyler were very knowledgeable and did excellent work. They even volunteered to install the hardware on the vanity for me. Roger stopped by midday to check on the progress. I am so happy to have this bathroom that's been a problem for several months fixed in less than a day. The price was very fair for all the work completed. Thank you!

Roger Ross Plumbing and Heating does a very professional job. I called them when my water heater broke and they showed up within a half hour. They turned off the water and because I have another heater they came back the next day and put in a new one. While here they changed out my thermostat and checked my heater, I didn't need to set a different time.Dan, who works for Roger, was very polite and respectful he was also very informative. These guys have been my plumbers since I bought my first property in 2003. I’ve used them for probably everything at this point. They can do everything from new construction to historic properties. Roger is a master plumber and has trained his guys to do things the right way and they really take care of your property. Super clean and careful. He stands behind his work. He’s been my plumber since day one and runs a great business of responsible plumbers.

My father in-law was experiencing a leak in his ceiling so I called Roger Ross Plumbing to come open up the ceiling to see if they could find what was causing it. I spoke with Natasha who was incredibly friendly and helpful in getting the appointment set up (If you call ask for her, she honestly made this entire experience so much easier). PJ came to the house and opened up plaster and lath ceiling (Not a clean or easy task) and ran the upstairs water for a leak but after an hour we realized that no of the pipes were leaking. There was a lot of corrosion and bad plumbing work from previous contractors band-aid projects so we decided to keep the ceiling open for a week or so and see if the leak returns and then we can go from there. PJ spent the time explaining options and recommending what he believes would be the correct next step if a leak returns. These guys are great and I will use them for my home plumbing needs also! I've been working with Roger and his team for more than 15 years now on a wide range of plumbing needs:- fixture install for a basement remodel (claw foot tub, couple sinks, toilet with mascerating unit, washer/dryer, tankless hot water heater)- replacement of the basement mascerating unit 14 years later- fixture install for bathroom/kitchen remodel (toilet, sinks, instant hot, disposal, dishwasher, etc)- toilet installs- shower fixture installs- I'm sure there are others, above is off top of my headMy most recent experience was with a p-trap replacement for our shower. The tricky part with this: it hangs below our condo just under the ceiling of the garage which is 15 ft high. A scissor lift was supposed to arrive by 10AM, with Roger's crew likely done by noon - but the lift didn't actually arrive until 3:30PM! Roger was able to work around the schedule issues and everything was still completed by the end of the day. As with all the other jobs he has done for me going back 15 years now, he and his crews are professional, courteous, friendly, skilled and efficient; I highly recommend them.

I felt a sense of relief after reading Roger Ross’s reviews online, so I gave them a call and then texted them pictures. Rodger himself got back to me so promptly, asked if this was an emergency (it was not), and he still gave me an appointment for first thing Monday morning (I called them on Friday).Tyler arrived within the timeframe they promised, he brought a ladder as requested, and went up to the attic to diagnose the issue. He came back down in less than 10 minutes with pictures, a video, and told me exactly what I need to do. Very happy with their service. I had no heat and they came out in less than 24 hours, knew exactly what they were doing and repaired my furnace. Everyone I dealt with was very nice.
