I highly recommend Barth Electric for all of your commercial and residential electrical needs. I've used Barth for all of my residential projects at my new home. They wired and hung this beautiful chandelier in my dining room. I have plans to have them back to swap out outlets and receptacles and to hang another chandelier in my entryway. Quality service done right the first time.

Based on my experience dealing with them while my house was being built by Arbor, I could not recommend them in good faith. The amount of errors and rework that was needed on jobs they did as well as the general sloppiness around the worksight and lack of attention to detail will cause me to look elsewhere for any electrical needs I would need.

I have worked with this contractor a couple of times in the past & they were never worth dealing with. I've noticed all of their Journeyman are stressed out & twitchy, some were druggies & the others I've met weren't worth meeting. In a business deal I can't say whether they're worth hiring or not but in a professional sense I've not been impressed.

They have the worst phone service I have ever experienced. I don't even want to give them one star. they just transfer you around to voice mail boxes. This has been over and over and over again. Does anybody work here?? Why does no one answer???

They quoted me $975 to install 2 fans that needed wiring installed, change on fan and make the switch just run the light. I provided all fans. Also quoted to fix a light that was buzzing on the outside of the house. They came to install today. 15 days later and started telling me of things not included in the first quote. New price came to $1400. I sent them on their way. Then the office called and tried to tell me the price was fair and I should still do business with them.

We’ve used Rueben multiple times over the last 2 years. He and his apprentice are amazing. They are always on time and extremely professional. We are always happy when he’s finished. He’s done both new basement electrical along with adding multiple lights and outlets to our other floors. Highly recommend!

I didn't hire them but the realtor of the seller of the house that we bought hire them to fix some electrical that was found faulty on the home inspection prior to the sale of the house. I knew something was wrong when we got the invoice and it had a whole bunch of things listed on it but it was inaccurate to what was supposed to be done. I attempted to call them to inquire about the work they did and just generally ask them what they encountered when they were working, you cannot talk to them directly on the phone they will only talk to you in text message which I find very unprofessional and frustrating. The person I texted with had no idea what they did with the house and when I ask them to politely write up a statement and email it to me they refused and then they ghosted me. We had the house re-inspected a day prior to closing and none of the electrical was fixed. in the end the seller had to fork over additional $500 to us so we could the electrical fixed.

@Bard Bade, I had my own electrician go back not only did we find that the work done by the electricians was substandard but also extremely dangerous and not up to code. The outlets were not properly installed nor were they functional, several outlets were found to be defective and had to be completely removed and thrown away and real new ones installed. the ceiling fan in the master bedroom and that they were supposed to fix not only did they not fully screw it back into the ceiling upon working on it myself the ceiling fan came out of the ceiling because the screws to it were missing from the electrician fiddling with it nor was that fixed either. The heating and air conditioning guy that you hired is a criminal and is not licensed. I hire another HVAC professional who found several problems with the furnace and was able to test the AC in the winter. The plumber that you hired did not fix the toilets, he replaced the toilet valves with old valves from obviously another toilet they did not fit properly nor did he replace any flappers in the toilets and all the toilets are running in the house when we moved in. If you what proof I have a stack of it and I can provide you with affidavits from actual licensed professionals.

John repaired the outside meter box that had pulled away from the wall due to cable settling for me. John was knowledgeable, responsive, and handled all the AES/IPL interaction to assess the issue, determine a satisfactory solution, and day-of-repair disconnect/reconnect. I would use John again for any Electrician related need.

Bill came out to the property, looked at the work , took down contact information and said he would provide an estimate via email. He never responded. When called about the estimate he said it would be on its way. Never responded. It was a small job, $3,700 and Bill could have said it was too small or that it did not fit his schedule but instead he chose to simply blow it off. As that is his customer service and his consideration of others time he would never be a person/company I would contract.
